Single? Libertarian? Obviously Most of us are not Feverishly Looking for Love but Can We Find it at the Daily Paul?
Submitted by vinceableworld on Mon, 12/31/2012 - 23:01Please comment if you're currently single and you would like others at the DP to know. As I just commented on another post I've been waiting for the day when someone comes along who would like to stand by my side in this battle for liberty.
I asked a question in chat a few minutes ago:
"Why is there such a shortage of libertarian women?"
The answer was that "Women like to feel safe."
Okay granted a lot of us get into a lot of trouble simply because we assert our rights. Where are the women who find that sort of thing attractive? Our society in this country has gone downhill... perhaps one of the primary reasons is because most women drop men like a bad habit as soon as they prove themselves to not be compliant and especially do not want to be with someone who "questions authority."
When did having a moral compass and unshakable principles become so unattractive?

I've been tricked a few times in the past
I've been up-front and truthful about who I am... my mission in life... my priorities and so fourth. In the beginning that is initially accepted and then comes the covert methods of trying to change me into who they want me to be.
I then working trying to change... force myself to be someone I'm not... find myself not liking who I am... (and incidentally she doesn't like me anymore either) then break up eventually after doing everything I can to try and make things work... stick it out...
Then two weeks later I'm REALLY happy I found myself again... and ironically wind up going back to her because I'm now attractive again... lol... the insanity.

"if you meet one here... somebody's moving!" LOL
This post is so funny. With us spread out across 50 states, Canada, the British Isles... must have been the champagne for someone to imagine this place as a matchmaking site. Happy New Year, guys!
Actually
I'm completely stone cold sober... and no I'm not stoned either. I think you are thinking of "matchmaking" where you go on and on about things that really don't matter... and pretend you are someone that you aren't... and then eventually once each has made their decision that the other one is right for them...
Both people change back into their original selves.

No, actually, I was thinking that even if
you found your soul mate, HVACTech was right! Somebody would have to move. You know, just something to factor into the equation. :)
That answer doesn't make sense up against
your question.

Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution, inevitable.
I agree.
... but that is the general perception.

They aren't thinking about the question.
That's an average reply from a female, but it doesn't explain the libertarian twist.
I suspect it has to do with abortion.

I highly doubt abortion is something
any female has as a #1 priority. That is primarily the feminist movement whom left right and middle have pretty much discredited as complete lunacy.
