While Most Americans Were Drunk
Including the legislators.

I want to see cuts on
taxes across the board and to make them as close to zero if possible. But I'm not sure what's so offensive about tax breaks for biofuel start ups and electric wheelchair devices. I don't like the special treatment and I get that arguement, but isn't lowering taxes one of our goals. Can someone explain why these 2 points are so bad? Algae biofuel is just around the corner from being competitive with advancements in biocrude without any tax breaks. Adding tax breaks could make it competitive and we may see better prices over all. Biocrude can be turned into gas or diesel and existing infrastructure and cars don't need modification. Could also shift power away from energy corporatists government dbags. Maybe I am missing something, someone please fill me in. thx I am sure there is I am missing.
I'm personally thankful for #4 - Tax breaks for TV and Film ind.
If subsidies for the entertainment industry were removed it almost certainly would have resulted in a decline in the quality of their work which I don't believe our society would have been able to cope with.

"Extension of some special rules for the film and television business" doth not bode well for quality. [1 year tax break extension.]

I am certain when dancing with the stars viewers learn of this they will be most thankful. In between hitting the fridge for more snacks to munch on.

STAND WITH RAND 2016
Here is the 6th thing; $4T deficit over next 10 years
CBO Estimates "Obama Tax Cut" To Add $4 Trillion To Deficit Over Next Decade
1-1-13
Two things:
First - it is no longer the "Bush (temporary) tax cut" - it is now the "Obama (permanent) tax cut", with a loophole for the 1%ers (whose big picture "impact" we showed previously)
Second - according to the just released scoring by the CBO, the total impact on the US budget deficit of said permanent tax cuts, will be a $4 trillion increase in the deficit over the next decade. In reality, due to the CBO's perpetual optimistic bias, this number will likely be orders of magnitude lower than what it ends up being.

Well Rand and seven others did.
Congressman Ron Paul insisted bills be read... up to a point.
Congressman Ron Paul: insisted bills be read... up to a point. That point was where it became clear that proposed Congressional bills were clearly unconstitutional. Few bills had to be read more than a few pages. Where upon an unconstitutional passage was noted & objection raised. Ron Paul voted no on unconstitutional bills.

It gets more ridiculous with each bill they pass.
Either they, themselves, were drunk and are incredibly stupid, or they think we are not paying attention.
from a gov't that
from a gov't that simultaneously pays farmers to not grow food and spends money on anti-hunger programs, what exactly is it that we should be surprised by.
