Second attack on modern firearms in IL going on.

IL is again trying to ban modern firearms (and, no, not just "assault-weapons", but pretty much most of the modern firearms including 1911s and so forth) :

If you live in IL send an email or call your local state representative (this time they will try to push it thru the house, not senate like they did yesterday. Possibly then they'll try to push it trhu senate on Monday for a slam dunk).

Even if you're not from IL this concerns you greatly. The strategy of Chicago mayors has been that "their gun control doesn't work because the surrounding towns and counties have easily available guns". So they've been pushing for state-wide bans to "fix that problem". Coincidentally, a few months ago they have started bringing in Indiana into the "why it doesn't work". What do you think will happen if a state wide firearms ban is accomplished and the gun murders still continue in Chicago (as they will). The next to blame will be "other states and their easily available guns". And keep in mind that those who are pushing these things are national-level politicians (Rahm, etc).

for awareness! Maybe the people who live in the states that this is occurring in should start becoming pro-active and file civil lawsuits against the lawmakers who propose these outrageous bills for conspiring to take away their Constitutional rights and for violating the public trust by breaking their oaths to protect and defend the Constitution...go after them personally in class action lawsuits!

Why did I have the snaky feeling this wasn;t over when the withdrew the first bill?

Haha

"Snak(e)y" is right on!

Bloomberg has been blaming other states for years.

It doesn't matter that the areas around New York are gun free and have the same homicidal problems.

It is always someone else's fault.

You are required to be a victim in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, DC, Etc.

Only the politicians and corporate bosses in those areas get armed guards.

Everyone else is a dangerous threat to corporate and governmental authority and can not be trusted to own a gun.
