It's my 5 year Daily Paul anniversary today

Hard to believe that much time has passed. I've gone from being a neocon to understanding what true freedom is all about. Mentally, I feel more free than I have ever been in my life. Thank you to Michael Nystrom as well as all the members here who provoke real thought and discussion on all things freedom!

Right behind you:

I actually started on the DP months before, (Nov. Dec.) but for some reason, my account reset and it says 4yrs 11mo. 21days.
Closing in on me. Unbelievable that after most of my life I found people that think so much like me. It's also been a joy learning all that these great people have shared with me.

I love my country
I am appalled by my government

Awww, I missed my 5 year birthday here.

Still not able to respond to you on your own site... glitch?...or..else?

Cheers & Congrats!

Happy Birthday. You're an old timer. The Daily Paul will soon be 6!

I still got ya by a month! na na na na na.....

Great Milestone

I must post too much. You have been a member for 5 years and have 92 posts....I'm been a member under my current name for about 1 year and currently have posted 999 posts. So, you average almost 20 posts a year and I average almost 3 posts a day.

A lot of my posts don't get much if any attention but I enjoy typing up my thoughts. It helps me formulate ideas and devolop new ways to talk to people I'm trying to wake up and helps me figure out ways to ignore all government and authority as much as possible without getting tazed or put in jail. lol

Congrats again!

Happy Anniversary!

Dang, I missed my 5 year 1 month and 24 days ago. I feel so old.

Welcome to da club.

Great idea, and no one even commented... Glad you stuck around anyway, Duane! Happy Anniversary!

Welcome to the Red Pill Club!

My 5 year anniversary is coming up soon as well.
I think my reaction to all of this "new" information is different than yours...mine's anger. For the past 4 1/2 years, I go to bed pissed off, I wake up pissed off...I can no longer watch TV or listen to the radio...because after only a few minutes, I start yelling at the dashboard in frustration and end up turning the damn thing off. I'm usually angry at the people around me because they're so ignorant..and unwilling to see/hear that they've been lied to since birth. They've been brainwashed into complacancy and are happy to stay that way...that pisses me off!
In the end, I've grown accustomed to my anger...I rather enjoy it, really. It's the fire in my belly that keeps me going...to continue to attempt to educate the masses one person at-a-time. I too am so very grateful of Mr. Nystrom and all of you here...whether it's a Constitutional explanation from repubilcae or "Tin Foil Hat" time, I relish it all! The DP is my #1 source for news and information!!!

I am pretty sure Thomas Jefferson said that. lol!

It must be about 5 years, I found Ron Paul in November, 2007, and hung out at ronpaulforums for a while before finding this site, but somewhere in there.
