There is a right way and a wrong way to do almost anything.

For me, whatever I eat, I consider it a form of "reincarnation." The mass that was a plant or animal is now part of the mass that is a human. I honor the life that I take and welcome it into my consciousness, whether it is plant or animal life (or something in between, like yeast or fungus.) When I die, my mass will become part of the earth, it will "eat" me, and perhaps I shall become part of the Earth's consciousness. I don't know, and I am in no particular hurry to find out... But while I live, I consider it an honor and sacred duty to treat the things that sustain my life with the utmost respect.
