80+ people showed up at court today in support of Boniek!
Submitted by etnfree on Tue, 01/08/2013 - 00:36Must See video... When a grass wild fire broke out, former Montana legislator Joel Boniek tried to get to his home and livestock. The "PUBLIC SERVANTS" (sic) would have none of it. He was chased, assaulted, then arrested for "resisting Arrest". During his first hearing the Judge abandoned the court room after about 30 people showed up to support Boniek. Today they tried again and over 80+ people showed up.

For the record, I am a volunteer firefighter who was working on this fire. A few short years ago, we would hand out tools to anyone willing to help. What's scary is that these cops are better than most.

There are many people here that support Joel. Unfortunately the local Livingston newspaper is no friend of the truth and routinely skew stories in favor of the legal system.
They would make a wedding sound like a funeral if it suited them.

Does anyone know where this case now stands and if anyone got Joel's letter and the account on the Oathkeeper's site published anywhere in the local Montana press. I would like to see links to any articles or letters to the editor if they exist, that counter the AP and other accounts.

Note: Joel Boniek was a sponsor of the Montana Firearms Freedom Act as well as a
supporter of Dr. Paul. Fortunately we got fire out literally 10 feet from Joel's Home.
If he joined the Volunteer Dept. the day before, he could have drove right in! Go Figure???

You mentioned you helped put the fire out. Since you are local to Joel can you tell me if the account on oathkeeper's and Joel's letter ever showed up in local or Montana State wide papers?
If not, I certainly hope it was submitted by someone and reception to the publication's editor was confirmed. Putting pressure on local media to publish and interview people in the court that day could be productive. Sounds like there are plenty of witnesses willing.
Do you know any of these answers?
This was asinine to stop
a man from protecting his own family & property. Seems they were hell bent on stopping him when they should have been helping him get to his property. Does anyone know how the fire actually started? A big thank you to the Oath Keepers for telling us the real story.
