"Spam"
I'd like to see them call $5 million in donations "spam"!
Re: Spam
Maybe "spam" could be worked into a humorous Ron Paul ad a la Monte Python

I sent my $50.00
Great. I sent $50 2 weeks ago. I have never contributed to ANYBODY before. I am glad to be a part of this. This is our last chance people, we are in the last quarter, at the one yard line, 3rd down. This is the last play left for this country. Live free or die, as Giuliani said at the start of the last debate. Ed and Elaine Brown could give him a lesson in how to live that way.
This is a marathon, not a sprint.
Thank you, Fonta. This is incredible news. I think Ron Paul has a real shot at winning the nomination. Especially if there is no progress in Iraq, Dr. Paul's message of peace will continue to gain momentum. Slow and steady, everyone. This is a marathon, not a sprint. I think there are three primary areas that need to be addressed by the campaign:
1. Getting Dr. Paul's message out without relying on the MSM. Obviously, that means using the internet and regular old social networking, like meetup. Independently produced YouTube videos have been very popular, and I think that the Paul campaign should start producing their own spots weekly. They would have should have gotten to speak about during the debate.
2. Organizing groups in the early primary states of IA, NV, NH, WY, FL and SC. If there is anyone from any of these states that knows what's going on - please contact me. NH seems pretty well organized, but we need to organize these other states.
3. Raising more money. Howard Dean was the lead early money raiser in 2004, and he did it all through the internet, and all with donations of $100 or less. I'm reading a book about it now, and I'll keep you all updated with the wisdom I glean.
We're building momentum and a critical mass at an excellent pace. Keep it up, but don't burn out, don't get discouraged, and keep your eyes on the positive. I'll never forget Dr. Paul's positive response after the most recent debate. I think everyone was feeling down because he got so little time to speak, but his response was: "We didn't get much time during the debate, but we didn't need it because our message is just so powerful!"
That is the attitude I love, and that kind of thinking is going to carry us through!

$$Right On$$
Not only is the message so powerful, but it is easily understood. I usually encourage people to look at Dr. Paul's website and read his positions and compare that to the others. It is night and day. One you can understand and the rest are confusing at best. One is grounded and the rest just float around like smoke, hard to grab a hold of.
We donated $100 last week. We plan to make some sacrifices in our daily living to support Dr. Paul and his plan to reform this nation. It is the real deal!!
Coming from the socialist state of New Jersey it is difficult to get support but we are trying. And you are right to suggest that we need to pace ourselves for the long haul.
Ron Paul 2008.
