Alex Jones, Traitor or Imbecile?

UPDATE: I was wrong. I was overly harsh. I was casting stones without having all the information, something I'm vehemently opposed to. I apologize. (see http://www.dailypaul.com/269611/i-was-wrong-and-im-sorry)

My letter to Alex:

You are ridiculous. I can't believe what you just pulled on Piers. Whose side are you on? I'm seriously damn near convinced you're on the globalists' side. You bastard! Do you know how hard you set us back?! That was a FUCKING DISASTER. You displayed less debate skills than Bill O'Reilly and Piers Morgans' lovechild! You are either a profound idiot or an establishment tool, and I will never support you again.

Update (old): I stand by my feelings about Alex's performance. He sunk to the level of Piers and I fail to see how any of you think that's ok. But I am getting trolled out of my mind here. It's driving me nuts. I spend too much of my life working for liberty, to sit here and take shit from people who claim to support it while they fling ad hominems and other personal insults at me and ignore my primary point (that this will not be received well, and it won't, that's just obvious). I've blocked Danton because after numerous insults and absurd attacks and very little in the way of actual substance, he accused me of claiming to be a "savior" and that is crossing the line. This whole experience has me considering just giving up on liberty and trying to live out my life away from people as much as possible. We really are a piece of shit race. I'm done here. Good riddance.

Well...

mainstream news, blog and social website comments are comprised of:

1) Govt and Corporate paid shills (corps, the military and Israel have all admitted to having teams tasked with controlling the public opinion on social web sites -- there is even commercial automated software that creates and maintains fake website users, detects opposing viewpoints and makes counter-comments)
2) normal people of all political persuasions

When opinion on social websites veers one way or another on a hot-button high profile issue it means something. Especially when the dominant opinion opposes the Govt talking points.

Your sarcasm is cute... but devoid of any intellectual analysis or thought.

If you blow a gasket and don't hang you'rejust like the guy you despise...stand up, stay calm and speak with confidence...

No gasket blown, revvin like a tigerrrr...

He did way more than just 'hang' he totally destroyed the Zio globalist CNN and it's seditious British mouthpiece.

Obviously you, and everyone else who is criticizing(doing Piers Morgans job for him) Alex are not part of the liberty movement, or are just so conditioned by political correctness that you have blinders on.

The anti-Jones 'chatter' that is permeating media is proof positive that Jones hit the NAIL ON THE HEAD.

99% OF ALL ANTI-JONES POSTERS ARE PHONY, really just a few people posting under lots of aliases and GETTING PAID fat, the rest are just bone heads.

Check please?

I'd like my check please.

You are an absolute nutjob.

Quit going around making false accusations at people being paid agents. You have no proof or even reasonable logic, it's just a random insult you throw out there to anyone you disagree with. It hurts the movement and gives us all a bad name. People see you throwing that accusation around at people who are *CLEARLY* not shills, they might start to think there actually are no shills.

I am a firm believer in questioning everything. I believe there are conspiracies. Lots of them. But the thing that gives "conspiracy theories" a bad name is that people like you go around asserting facts that are simply wild theories you came up with. Yes, they are potentially far more plausible than the official story, but they are just as wacky and baseless. The fact is, we usually don't have enough information. We need to be calling for investigations, not making accusations.

Since the consequences of your actions (going around and making these false accusations, dividing people, etc) are very clearly negative and cannot possibly help the liberty movement in any way, I might as easily conclude that you were the shill. But I don't accuse you of it, because it is also entirely possible that you are just an asshole with no manners, who doesn't realize that accusing someone of a crime is itself a crime (morally and legally), and who hasn't thought the consequences of his actions out fully.

I'm phony?

Really

No you are not a phony...

You are a genuine

idiot.

Leges sine moribus vanae

It seems that the response was to the OP, not you

but, I could be wrong.

Patriot and genius

Compared to Alex your contribution to the liberty movement amounts to spit.

You are definitely not part of the liberty movement.

You and all of your sycophants are definitely CIA or some other high paid spook/government agency trolls here only to spread dis-info.

Based on your negative 39 rating it's obvious you guys are getting paid WAY too much.

Alex Jones NAILED IT, if not you and all your buddies would not be talking about his interview with the representative of the Queen of England.

Debate skills? Really? You think Alex was invited on the show to DEBATE?

The time for DEBATE ended with the career of Dr Paul.

The time to put these gun-grabbing punks in their place is here, either embrace the resistence, or just shut the hell up, and get of the way and let the real men put down this gun grab.

Like Mel Gibson riding out with the 'nobles' in the movie 'Braveheart', Alex Jones has picked a fight for us, and set the example for dealing with dictators.

You're ridiculous.

I may have been wrong, but I was never a CIA spook. That is utterly ridiculous. I'm just going to paste what I had to say to another guy, because it applies 100% (edit: oh wait it was the same dude... oh well).

That interview doesn't sit well

with me either.

However, I open to the possibility that the Alex Jones supporters on this site might be correct. Time will bear it out.

After five years, I stopped listening to Alex Jones mid 2012 (and cancelled my subscriptions) after become concerned about what was, and more notably what was not, being reported about Ron Paul and the campaign. I observed a number of subtle slants leading people away from RP and the liberty movement, and a number of huge omissions from the campaign coverage. The campaign presented an opportunity for Alex Jones to step up and silence those who claim he is a saboteur. He failed that task miserably, imo.

If you walk away now, you might give Morgan and the rest of the globalist stooges a win on what was no doubt part of the agenda behind that interview – that is, drive a wedge in the liberty movement.

Don't let that happen, please stick around and hope to H#LL that the Alex Jones supporters are proven correct over time.

You're entirely right, and I

You're entirely right, and I wish I'd taken that approach earlier.

Freedom in our lifetime! - fiol.us

I agree with..

your assessment of Jones, but I don't think the goal was to drive a wedge in the liberty movement, but rather parade a 'raving lunatic' around as the typical pro-second amendment individual. I think their concern of we liberty minded folks pales in comparison to their vitriol of the right to bear arms.

I agree too

but do you see what I see here today? I see a big, fat wedge.

The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion.
-Thomas Paine

Not a wedge...

...just a disagreement about the efficacy of a certain self-serving radio talk show host.

You are correct so don't think you are alone.

We need more people like you and we need to stick together.

Lord Acton, Lord Chief Justice of England, 1875 - "The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the People v. The Banks."

I may have been right, or

I may have been right, or wrong about the effects of Alex Jones' interview. But I still let my emotions get the better of me, a rather hypocritical thing to do given what I was complaining about.

TelFiRE

Well, enough about Alex, there is ample posting expressing varied views.

TelFiRE, perhaps a break from the board for a while. I do not wish to see you leave. There are things that I agree and things that I disagree, but that is what makes us individuals, and also creates cause for discussion.

I hope that you will stick around :-)

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

Alex is a defender of our constitution!

Alex told the world in 8 minutes how our society is corrupt!

I don't see how the drama you are providing..

Is any better than the drama Alex displayed.

Substance over form folks!

Lets get Ben Swann on CNN if we want to see the same message delivered in a different wrapping.

I only see the gift of truth, everything else is irrelevant.

Each and every one of us would have inevitably done things differently.

No.7's picture

This interview, unlike the others, is viral now

Alex Jones is getting new traffic to his site by the thousands.

He mentioned SSRI's, Gulf of Tonkin, Fast & Furious, building 7, democide, the Swiss, real crime statistics, and refused to let Piers trick him or get a negative soundbite.

I think AJ did the best he could. He was obviously pissed off but he stuck to facts and beat Piers at his own game.

How many people are waking up today?

How many people cannot unlearn the things they heard for the first time during that interview.

This is a win

I vote Traitor and Imbecile. This is a false choice, AJ is both.

AJ is a deceiver and an idiot who thinks he can get away with it over and over again by being loud and obnoxious.

Alex is a true patriot.Not

Alex is a true patriot. Not all of us are going to be great messengers but we are patriots none the less.I get pretty passionate when talking to clueless people too.We all have are own personalities and this is Alex, love him or hate him.I think he's hilarious and sometimes a raving lunatic but that's what makes him who he is and that's why I love the guy.

Sounds like Alex Jones' blind

Sounds like Alex Jones' blind followers are engaging a full attack on people who disagree with him. This thread is a good example. Let me bring this up to you:

Remember Molly-gate: The event (November 20, 2012) where Alex Jones hired Molly Maroney, who formerly worked for the admitted-Zionist organization Stratfor. Alex Jones and his crowd (Mike Adams, Intel Hub, Mark Dice, Lindsey Williams, etc.) are still remaining silent on the situation. Lots of more information about it is right here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFpik9NljrI
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLq5Uk28wPA

He also has made up a series of failed predictions from 2008-2010 that never came to place (especially when he claimed there would be an inaugural bombing in 6-7 months)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxt_bEDdTTc

He insulted Bill Cooper by referring him as 'some dead guy' in 2010 at 2:25
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lbkDx2lijo

Alex Jones endorsed a promoter for alternative medicine Kevin Trudeau, who was a convicted felon and a scam artist, in 2009. His interviews with him were deleted from his channel shortly after they were uploaded. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWPxLzlyOTU

Alex Jones crashed a pro-gun rally in Austin in 2010 and later covered up the story on his radio show with lies and deception.

Agree except for attack on trudeau. I don't like trudeau but

if I remember right he was wrongfully convicted (like many Americans who stand up to the system).

Christians should not be warmongers! http://www.lewrockwell.com/vance/vance87.html

Wrongfully convicted?? Kevin

Wrongfully convicted?? Kevin Trudeau was sent to two years in prison for swindling a bank by depositing $80,000 in fake checks while posing as a doctor and stealing credit cards from 11 customers in the early 1990s. He also got in trouble with Illinois' Attorney General for allegedly running a pyramid scheme when he was associated with the Nutrition for Life marketing firm. John Stossel made this story in 2007 when he was on ABC's 20/20.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN5ihrECJms

Nowadays, he's into scamming people with his "Free Money" infomercial book. Hundreds of people complaining about this scam.
http://www.consumeraffairs.com/health/trudeau.html

Do you seriously think we are going to let this master manipulator get away with his scandalous schemes any longer?

Oh, I was thinking you were referring to a story on the Feds

overtaking a small business venture because their product wasn't FDA approved. Sorry. It's been a long time since I've read the book.
