How Did Alex Jones Do Compared To Other Piers Morgan Pro Gun Guests?

IMO, He smashed through the membrane and reached the American soul.

morgan is misguided in basing

morgan is misguided in basing his argument on death alone. he should be arguing the principle of the 2nd amendment.

They deserve to be ridiculed.

I am not saying we should all use this tactic in educating the masses, but I am happy Alex did.

That interview served to wake up at least an other 10k people who will look in to these matters. If 10% wake up, he has done very well.

Nice job IMO.

I try to change people every day. Do You?

I always wonder about Alex's

role in all of this...but I have to admit I loved seeing him be SO disrespectful to Morgan. It was very satisfying to me personally, even though Alex probably looked like a complete psycho to anyone who has never heard of him. But then again, Americans love that stuff. I bet many people are going to infowars.com just to see whats up.

I'd rather have a bottle in front o' me than a frontal lobotomy

I would rank Larry Pratt #1

Alex Jones number 2, and Ted Nugent 3rd.

Pratt made Piers Morgan look like an idiot. Alex Jones had some facts, but came across as a maniac. Ted Nugent made himself look like an idiot.

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

if I was AJ, I would have asked Morgan this

Doesn't the United Kingdom have Sharia Law now?, why would we ever follow a country that implemented Sharia Law? That is truly nuts. Cased closed.

Fight fire (the Islamic boogeyman) with fire ( mass shooting of children)

It is time to get angry

These freaking people are discussing the disarming of america while at the same time passing laws for the detention of people with no due process.

What will it take to get America to wake the f up. The time to be polite passed about 8 years ago.

THANK YOU AJ ! At least the world will see there are some red blooded men left in America.

peAce

Liberty = Responsibility

kind of silly, all these people complaining about AJ's delivery.

We've tried the calm, lets be respectful way. MANY times!! It doesn't work with everyone. I can't tell you how many times talking to democrats ( i don't call statist dems liberals anymore, thx to Hayek Road to Serfdom) or neocons in a calm and respectful way with zero results. They filter all the facts you may present and just hear, "oh you are an isolationist" or "you want poor people to die". That way just doesn't work with everyone. No way will. They will probably go to their graves being statists. Can't tell you how many times I would get an attitude from these people for nothing more then having a difference of opinion. Didn't matter how respectful I was being. Can't tell you have many times I've been called kook, conspiracy theorist, or idiot because I supported Ron Paul. I've even been called a terrorist because I supported Ron Paul. What's left of our civil liberties hangs by a thread and people want to only play nice and talk respectful. What kind of backwards thinking is this, lets be nice to the people that are advocating for the removal of our rights, livelihoods of not just us but more importantly our kids. Just makes no sense to limit our tactics. Playing nice doesn't always work. Example watch doug wead's experience on his last interview with Geraldo during the last campaign. Right out the gate Geraldo was cracking jokes about how convenient his last name Wead was for the RP campaign. Just straight up being an A hole. Did Doug win him over? HELL NO. Geraoldo has pretty much gone full statist and is currently advocating for gun control. We are not catching nearly enough bees with honey. Don't get me wrong, we need the Doug Weads but we also need the AJs. We need to hit as many nerves and senses as we can. Some people need to be shook hard before they can wake up. Not everyone wakes up to soft sun beams coming up over the horizon.

Ranking

Larry Pratt did the best against Morgan, but I enjoyed watching Jones shut Morgan down by giving him a taste of his own medicine. They were both better than the cartoon character known as Ted Nugent.

Jones didnt get walked on,

and I like that.

there is NO gun debate going on in America...

...one is being manufactured only...

The fact that the DP community wants to hype this AJ event, and let his every breath dominate this forum for the past 48 hours, as though his every move is the shot in the arm we needed since Ron Paul was discarded by the GOP is a sideshow of some making.

This is NOT where we are, or who we are.....get back to the fiscal stuff, and statesmanship....there will be no gun grab...the path to grabbing over 300 million guns would have to be mostly non-violent and through compliance, brought on by dependence upon the gun-grabbers....now c'mon, we have to get back to the fiscal stuff and push back there.

Media talking heads are NO THREAT....most people shut them ALL off long ago....Fox News and Clear Channel couldn't get Romney elected.....stop obsessing on this....the National Guard/State Police will not be at anyone's door anytime soon, demanding our guns.

Great Job AJ

The point of gun ownership is not about the murder rate, or even normal self defence. The gun ownership is about the government attacking the people and the people able to defend themselves. Morgan wants to talk about crime and murder but he will not talk about the real crime or murders. Morgan is a Rothscihld bank mafia thug who wants to justify taking away our defences so his bosses have an easier time.

Taking away guns is NOT about lowering crime its about keeping an immoral parasite at bay.

sovereign

He made Drudge - Top of the Page

With the headlines like "It's On" -"There will be a repeat of 1776 if gun confiscation..."

That's pretty boss.

With that sort of introduction from Matt Drudge, (where it was seen that even Al Gore gets his news when his computer was left on in a photo once.), means people will mentally prepare for a rumble of epic proportions. Americans like to be entertained first and foremost - logic and debate club rules are things that only nerds (of which I am usually one) care about. Those are things that Piers has shown he wouldn't follow when he was on with Pratt, so why play the game?

The whole thing was a fraud!

Alex should have known the Propaganda Machine was never on his side. Those on the left see his argument for guns as emotional. Some are even afraid of what someone like Mr. Jones would do with a defense rifle. The Propaganda Machine is attempting to set a definition of a domestic terrorist by starting with Alex Jones on their show.

The whole show was nothing but a set-up for AJ just like his little encounter with the TSA at the airport that same day!

His name is Edward Snowden

What is Capitalism?
http://youtu.be/yNF09pUPypw

Oh, good point. Poke the bear,

make sure he is nice and edgy before you put the spotlight on him. I had figured the TSA incident was just to boost viewership, but it may have been to make sure AJ was nice and hysterical for the TV cameras.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Mark my words, AJ just catapulted the movement

Put aside any prejudice (pro or anti) and look at the facts.

Americans love, LOVE, L-O-V-E pure over-the-top entertainment. I give you exhibit A: Honey Boo Boo. Need I say more? And this interview whetted Americans insatiable appetite for sensationalism and they'll be tuning in to learn and see more of the "crazy guy".

And if you're now thinking that's a bad thing, that AJ is a crazy conspiracy kook that gives the liberty movement a bad name, than I think you're missing something very important. That is...

Americans would be hearing this stuff for the FIRST TIME!

Give them the same credit and respect you expect for yourself, to discriminate and choose for themselves what to believe. Just because you don't like 100% of what someone says or how they say it is no reason to deny others from hearing what you had the privilege of hearing for yourself.

You can't deny the liberty message does exist in Alex's body of work and Ron Paul's interviews with him prove it, even though it may come with other stuff you don't like. So what, BIG DEAL! And as far as the messenger goes, is that more important than the message itself?

ALLOWING PEOPLE TO HEAR THE MESSAGE IS THE POINT!

Therefore, in my opinion Alex Jones did a great job and the only way it could've been better is if he'd sat there wearing a Lady Gaga outfit.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

I was...

just thinking the same thing, although you worded it better than I would have.+1

I hope you are right.

I see it very differently. Americans are in gun-grabbing fever, and now the guy they have all heard about from their whacko friends is finally on their TV, and he is acting like a nut job. I think he will scare them and make them double down, citing his antics as proof that gun lovers are one twitch from a rampage all the time.
Meet you here in a week or two, we can see how we feel then?

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

I hope that every person is in your so called gun grabbing fever

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate.
How charged with punishments the scroll.
I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul.

Like a dog licking the hands of the master who beats you and biting the hand of the person who seeks to free you.

sovereign

Citing antics is purely window dressing

And a movement isn't built in a week or two. It's just like the stock market, you could be up sharply one minute and down the next, what's important is the trend.

To those friends I would ask, "Perhaps he ACTED crazy but what did he say that was crazy?" Let them double-down on that and then let the chips fall where they may.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

You must know

more rational sheep than I. Facts are theories, and emotions are mental illness. The TV is god, and lets face it, god has to be better looking than AJ so Piers must be god....
OK, now I am being mean-spirited. But I already have one headline to my "favor" - if you call guessing which way the masses will over-react a win...

"Alex Jones v Piers Morgan: Watch American shock jock's bizarre tirade at CNN host over US gun controls"
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-news/alex-jones-v-piers-m...

Please go vote the "pro-gun" comment up, you don't have to register. We can still win the internet wars, we just need all these media puppets to give us "comment fields" to occupy.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

I think you're misunderstanding me...

and the way I see it your headline supports my point. And just to be clear my point is about delivering the message to a larger audience.

You're absolutely right to point out Alex's tirade is drawing a lot of attention. That's exactly what I was betting on when I posted my comment. That's the point, the message is reaching a larger audience that grows with every new headline from each new publication, and that I feel is more important than how people react. We have their attention; good, bad or indifferent.

The difference between us appears to be whether we feel Alex's crazy behavior was good or bad for the liberty movement. I personally believe in the long run it will pay off BIG for us. Let the people call us crazy, just as long as we have their attention and are engaging us in debate.

And I personally never run from a debate. I welcome it because to me truth is well worth the cost of pride.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

Very...loud

I don't think we're looking at this the right way. While people who are familiar with him thought he did a great job, just imagine what Piers' typical audience must have thought. This did nothing good for us, it just furthers the notion that the pro-gun crowd has all sorts of crazy. It was an embarrassing interview, and while AJ did give a lot of good facts, it certainly looked like he was ignoring and avoiding the question. We always b*tch about Piers and interviewers his type trying to shut people down when they're making a point, but he couldn't even get most of his questions in! I understand that the game is rigged, the questions obviously favor Piers, but come on, AJ's 'interview', if you can call it that, more like a rant, was all over the place, and not composed.

Please see the post I made after yours

It was directed at this type of thinking. "Crazy" is exactly what Piers' brain-dead audience feeds on and reacts to. Trust me, AJ delivering an UNFORGETTABLE interview is much better. Let them think "crazy". Didn't we all at one time think most of the topics discussed on this site were crazy before we looked into it and decided otherwise? And had we never heard any of it we wouldn't be here.

If men are good, you don't need government; if men are evil or ambivalent, you don't dare have one.

AJ scared the sh*t out of Piers,

and the NWO. They should be scared.

This is the art of Infowar.

He kicked some major red coat arse!

The more I watch it the more I enjoy it. Alex Jones did what he does best. He used the Establishments weapon against them. People now can watch the clips and do some fact checking and realize, once again, that Alex Jones is telling the truth.

We need more people like Jones telling the murdering class that we know what their goal is and we will not go down without a fight!

Alex Jones deserves a medal of courage and valor!

"The greatest mystery of all is truth." - Me, 2009

mad

i'm just somewhat mad we all fell for it

i bet cnn's ratings will get a good bump for the night

they got us,,, as this to will be spread around getting them more press
piers will get press for this

i never liked larry king,,,, but in hindsight to piers

my god ,,, larry was godlike in compared to what the show has become,,,, thoughtful debate with no real agenda,,, no direction where interviews would go
larry letting guests speak their minds
and larry had the---"at odds views" on at the same time to debate
think dr paul vs stephen baldwin
think suzanne somers vs conventional cancer docs

piers does it seperately,,,,so a guest can't defend themselves,,,, their statements twisted into something else entirely---- of course this is again by design to fit an agenda

look at dershowitz twisting jones words to fit his narrative with no defense

what was alex's biggest motivation tonite----- saving the 2nd amendment or getting press to hype himself , infowars and his media empire

i really can't answer that,,, maybe both,,, but the latter seems the obvious choice
why go on a rigged, agenda driven, ratings loser show if you know it's a set up
what would be the motive for that???
ah-hah!!!!!!!!!!

kudos on the poetics.

don't like jones' work usually but the guy did damn good. people will be googling wtf he was going on about and come around.

joined goa after hearing pratt but doubt he reached audiences that didn't already share his view.

tactics were entirely different. both had serious pros/cons. all welcome, imo.

don't care who stands with the 2nd amend as long as they are there when it counts.

I thought prat was great.

He kept his composure while making piers look like an idiot, all of his answer where spot on.

I agree AJ may reach a larger audience with his antics, but it also creates that crazy view, where as Larry Pratt puts across a more palatable and level headed approach. I thought his was better for newbies, but saying that I also loved Alex jones interview, he got some great points in there, and said what many would love to say to piers, I just fear that it can be spun and twisted into supporting the governments attempts to portray certain groups and elements within society as crazy.

definitely

wasn't trashing pratt. what he brings to the table is absolutely welcome in my book.

anything can and will be spun. doesn't matter who it is or what they're saying.

the media and gov have already listed those concerned with liberty as loons, dangers and threats. it just means you're getting somewhere.

doesn't it bother you when

doesn't it bother you when you sit at home feeling like you could of done a btter job making the point than these supposed spokesman,,,, who are paid,,,,, when your just an unpaid liberty lover who pays attention

i constantly scream facts and counter arguments at the tv,,,, thinking why the hell don't they say-------
or respond with a question back to the accuser putting them on the defensive

i wish a guest---pro gun would brings pics of assorted weapons on and ask these accusers to point out the assault ,,,,full auto vs semi etc

and they would look like fools so quick

i bet my blood pressure went thru the roof during the repub, debates,,,, as idiot santorum would rattle off just lies so easy to refute

like now----hagels bad because he refused to sign sanctions---- i wish someone would confront those saying that with----you do realize sanctions are an act of war right??? do you think sanctions hurt the rich or powerful or the poor who can't afford food, to flee, to provide basics for family etc

with hagel and israel allegiance----hey does hagel stand shoulder to shoulder with Kyrgyzstan,,, anartica,,,,, oh why is that not important,,,, hmmm
