Alex jones is poison to the liberty movement

After watching his "arguments" last night on peirce Morgan I think it's plainly obvious this is the reason the liberty movement will never get off the ground. When we have freaks like Alex jones who couldn't argue themselves out of a wet paper bag screaming about mass murder pills leading our movement , we have a problem.

Listen its one thing to not trust government. It's another to still think 10 years after the fact that 911 was an inside job and scream about it on television.

His best and only moment during that whole thing was when he used a British accent and completely demolished peirce. But that was it.

Too lazy to list more. Yeah, Alex Jones is a problem all right. Give us all a break and get lost.

Oh God, not this again

Will the whining never stop? Alex Jones is now becoming mainstream. Deal with it.

And it's a good thing. I liked the way he was pushing Tucker Carlson on 9/11.

There's a reason that the deposed mainstreamers (Tucker Carlson, Mike Savage)are now coming to his show, and the decaying media (the View, Piers Morgan, even Howard Stern) have him as a guest -- can you guess what that is? They are trying desperately to hang on to some credibility. The good news? They won't.

Well, get going .

I'd rather have a bottle in front o' me than a frontal lobotomy

why did this topic come up on the home page today after such a long time. alex jones did great. anyway lead follow or get the hell out of the way. we dont need a bunch of armchair generals that shake in their boots in the face of the enemy. we need people to get in their face and tell them no more.

Can't control himself

The book of Proverbs has a lot to say about someone who can't control themselves.

AJ fits those as one of a hot tempered man given to rage that we're warned to stay away from.

As entertainment he's pathetic. As information and facts- marginal.

As a business man- successful! He's conned so many people and wasted their time and money.

I believe 911 was not an inside job as much as most people here believe JFK was shot by Oswald.

This must be

This must be the conspiracy where the government pays morons to be trolls. You must be a new hire otherwise you wouldn't have wasted your time at the DP.

If anyone is poison to liberty...... it is someone telling others what they should think.

"Patriotism is more closely linked to dissent than it is to conformity and a blind desire for safety and security." - Dr. Ron Paul

now i am going through your other posts and man , you must be some kind of alex hating troll , why not post something of substance dude,
not riding alexs nuts but... man , come on!

distance ourselves from physcos like this, umm who are you again ?

by the way its , a year later and peirs shows is cancelled indefinitely !

Something that makes me feel

Something that makes me feel a post is relevant is spelling and punctuation. It is Piers not peirce... and when you use a contraction, please use an apostrophe.
The main thing here is the fact that AJ is speaking out. I am no big fan of Alex, but hey, when you get on all these shows what will you do? Oh, wait, you will never be a voice that is heard.
Alex is a voice, not a leader. Please get out there and start your own show and tell everyone how to get the movement going???

Let the people decide on their own.

Many perceive government credibility to be so depleted that Alex Jones is by comparison a reliable competing voice. Alex spreads distrust of the government and its would be successor the corporate banker state. Alex Jones provides a check on government by painting a clear picture of what actions a government with evil intentions will take. He is able now to broadcast this picture back into the faces of policymakers. Perhaps this reflexivity will chasten their ambitions.

I agree with you.

That libertarians need to put space between their ideas and those of conspiracy theorists to attract more mainstream voters.

In this way more people will feel free to identify as libertarian without having to deal with social pressure of being called a conspiracy theorist (sad but true for many weak minded people).

However conspiracy theorists do say a lot of important points and attract another demographic to the liberty movement. They are also more highly motivated than the general public to actually contribute to change.

While people have criticized this viewpoint before I think that pure political libertarianism and conspiracy theorists could be different sides of the same coin. At the end of the day both groups are working for the same goals.

Any political party will get nowhere if they have ideas that are considered to be conspiracy theories as they will be easily marginalized.

However if they have ideas that are seen to encourage transparency of government, freedom of speech & individual freedom then the task will be much easier to install a libertarian government.

Lord Acton, Lord Chief Justice of England, 1875 - "The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the People v. The Banks."

Well said

I wouldn't go as far as you in characterizing folks who don't want the "social pressure of being called a conspiracy theorist" as "weak minded." I think there are all sorts of reasons, be they ideological, practical, or tactical, that people choose to distance themselves from ideas that could lead them to be "marginalized."

Someone who wants to avoid alienating friends and colleagues, keep a career, earn a living, win an election, etc., isn't necessarily "weak minded."

There is nothing wrong with identifying priorities in your personal quest for justice and making the decision to exclude potential distractions. I want to prevent the horrors of war, so I don't want to be pulled into debates over "suicide mass murder pills" and the pharmaceutical industry. The Jonesians are free to critique me for my tactical decision, but they're usually too busy shouting down anyone who isn't one of them.

But you put it eloquently when you wrote: "Any political party will get nowhere if they have ideas that are considered to be conspiracy theories as they will be easily marginalized."

I stand corrected on the "weak minded" point

You are right everyone is different and different ideas appeal to different people.

Lord Acton, Lord Chief Justice of England, 1875 - "The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the People v. The Banks."

This whole government is one big conspiracy.

Alex's delivery may not appeal to you, but he's gaining support.
And please, for the love of God, look up the word "conspiracy".

If You Are Going To Post Mean Threads

at least spell stuff correctly. PIERS!!!! It's PIERS!

I like Appears Moron :p

If every great fortune has a great crime behind it, then the greatest fortunes have the greatest criminals behind them. End the fed!

I can't vote up or down

Not sure why, but a few others having same issue. Hmmm

You can do it if you switch browsers.

I use both IE and google chrome.
IE doesn't work (for now, I hope), but google chrome does. You have to download it though.

I think AJ

Did a great job. I am pissed, many many of us are pissed and AJ was pissed in the interview. IF AJ would have bowed to the BS method of interview Piers had intended (not debate as Morgan was trying to infer)then it would have been another series of curiously crafted questions to evoke emotion about a small small small group of statistics that ignore the Bigger Picture on violent crime.

Piers ought to be in jail for illegally SPYING on people's cell phones and performing a circus of LIES that tarnished the lives of good people in the UK media.

Good Job AJ, don't you let up one bit on your anger with this government or the redcoat jackbooter named Piers Morgan.

Maybe Larry O'Donnell will take you up on that fight as he poised to Romney's son. I'd love to see that... Honestly I would.

Alex Jones is a, "Thought Provocateur!"

Although Alex Jones delivery was horrible, he made some great points. I would rather not have him as the mouthpiece for the Liberty Movement but I guarantee he provoked a lot of thought amongst those watching.

I thought this post was going

I thought this post was going to be an intelligent rant about his antics and how they were used in perfectly scripted fashion against him and against us in the 3rd segment........but instead its just some moron posting...down vote.

From another patriot's view.

So, if the AJ/Morgan octagon cage debate was so offensive to those who can't stand emotion and energy I challenge you then to go to the url below for an exhaustive defense of our gun rights.

You must be willing to read it, it is thorough and is a minor read compared to many of the exhaustive books reads out there. This is a relatively short article describing the source and history of gun rights. It's all on one page, you just have to scroll down a ways. ;-)

Enjoy and stop the yelling at AJ, he did a fine job defending our rights also.

Have a blessed day.

Great article

Thanks for posting it.

A side note here.

This article on gun rights was also included in the latest U.S. Journal newspaper.

It comes out once a month. It is filled with pretty well investigated articles, mind provoking views, and to me it is a newspaper reporting as it should.

You can subscribe online viewing and/or have a hard copy delivered. I've subscribed to both, although I love the hard copy, its seems to have the "content" like the papers of old. If you ever open today's papers most seem to be missing a quarter of the stories, fillers, etc. I like to leave the hard copy with others who may be interested as well, great tool for conversation.

This months newspaper along with this gun article included titles, "Inflation Is a Tax on the Poor", "The Political Use and Abuse of Children", "Armed School Guards vs True Liberty". "Why Aren't Men at Elementary Schools?" just to name a few in this months newspaper.

Its "A Conservative Newspaper Promoting Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness."

It also has published an article written by Ron Paul, "Armed School Guards vs True Liberty".

Have a blessed day.

I hope it is a deadly dose. O wait, can't kill a straw man.

When the liberty movement is "dead" it can't be undermined.

But the campaign for liberty lives on!
