Article: Obama supporters shocked, angry at new tax increases.

Sometimes, watching a Democrat learn something is wonderful, like seeing the family dog finally sit and stay at your command.

With President Obama back in office and his life-saving “fiscal cliff” bill jammed through Congress, the new year has brought a surprising turn of events for his sycophantic supporters.

“What happened that my Social Security withholding’s in my paycheck just went up?” a poster wrote on the liberal site DemocraticUnderground.com. “My paycheck just went down by an amount that I don’t feel comfortable with. I guarantee this decrease is gonna’ hurt me more than the increase in income taxes will hurt those making over 400 grand. What happened?”

"What happened"

I love that quote.

That will be the new mantra of the second decade as the SHTF

"Omg. What happened ...??"

As the zombies wake up to the reality of the things that we have been trying to beat them over the head with for years ..

When it finally hits home in *their* paycheck, *their* wallets, their families, their freedoms, their safety, their life they have been sleepwalking through in a bubble ...

When they finally get a clue that they only were paying half attention to anything that mattered, and letting the mass media do their thinking for them the whole time ..

When they FINALLY get that they really never knew a damn thing about real economics or how politics really works ... and what kind of people they been letting run things into the ground while they were asleep at the wheel ...

This is the first thing that will be coming out of their mouth.

The hell

Behold the glory of second term presidents.

He has no further need for supporters. Election show is over for good, time to get down to some serious tyranting.

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

Have no problem with the concept of raising taxes on other people. Once they find out the unintended consequences of their actions, all of a sudden it's a problem?

Why dogs?

They are loyal, loving and have way more sense than your average democrat.

He has been screwing his supporters for 4 years.

They wanted to believe that he meant what he said. When the auto-hypnotic trance is broken by reality they will be angry.

Free includes debt-free!

(sarcastic) Hilarious

The article may be laughing at Democrats who didn't realize that they were being taken for a ride, but it acts like the Republicans had nothing whatsoever to do with the tax hike on everyone. Is this the strategy? Go along with Obama on things that the Republicans don't believe in and KNOW are bad for the country, all so they can stand back and blame Obama and try to get him out of power?

I hate dirty dealings, even when it's done to get another dirty man out. I hope it's enough that I've already shared with my friends via Facebook how the taxes will be increasing on everyone, including the middle class and the poor, with the hopes to prepare them for Tax Day and everything before that. The last thing I want to do is mock one side or the other, and demonize. Mocking helps no one.

Brotherly love

Boehner and Obama are brothers joined at the hip separated at birth somewhere.LOL.Still the same parties will blame each other.Like Ron Paul predicted.

Money talks and dogs bark

Redistribution of Wealth Is a Slipery Slope

But it's not Obama's fault. The House is in charge of the purse-strings, and Ron Paul is correct: they should "earmark" every penney.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

True, but...

the people who are in charge of the house are controlled by the same people who are in charge of Barry.

I agree,

the president is only part of the problem. He does have veto power though.

I'm not happy that they are making less money now,

but maybe this will wake some people up?

One family member is very liberal leaning

Believes government should do everything, supported healthcare initiative, now does not want to pay any increased taxes.

These sorts of people did not vote for a president, they voted for a fairy godmother (who happens to be male).

Freedom - Peace - Prosperity

The yearning to be free from all responsibility is powerful!

It truly is a wonder to me.
