If you don't like Alex then don't listen or watch. End of story.

Homeland security statement: patriotism is now considered terrorism.
I love www.isidewith.com shared it with everyone I know. If anything they realize its not just a red and blue idiot running for reelection.

hmm...guess as opposed to the MSM's

DAILY 42 failed predictions, non-predictions, and blatant lying like damn near every second of the broadcast?

judge ye by their fruits & intents.

I'd say by MSM's non-standards, and considering the MILLIONs of minds Alex Jones has woken up for the last 17yrs, worldwide, I'd say our Austin Bulldog ain't got much to worry about.

He's built up his own operation with his blood sweat and tears. He's manufactured millions of DVDs, let people copy them for free. And the worst people can say about him, is the 42 supposed failures, his obnoxious personality shortcomings, and some daft online meme going around that the mere fact of AJ hiring some graphic designer who used to work very briefly for a 'Graphic Design Mill' who was contracted out by STRATFOR automatically makes AJ himself 'in bed with CIA,' is utterly indicative of the nature of the world we live today: the "anti-NWO" Johnny-come-lately's of the world are surrounded by lies all day, everyday, that everything becomes suspect. In some sense, can't blame them. But discernment within this field of research and exposure really only comes with due diligence, one's depth and breadth of life's experiences, and veritable discernment skills.

People commonly mistake intent and delivery of content and conflate it with malice: that is big, big, big, mistake.

And frankly, like everything else, it's just info; if it helps one understand a certain aspect of the world that you may not have known or inspired you to look at it with a new POV? Great! If not? So what? Who cares? As the cliche goes, switch the channel.

I literally cannot believe that some even on DP criticize AJ for running his vitamin/nutrition biz and MLM to fund his operation. It's like WTF? Granted many MLM have bad reputation deservedly, but not all are bad. Nor, is it ever bad to be entrepreneurial.

It's like y'all forget where the F*CK the rest of the MSM get their funding from?

Why some even in the Freedom movement fall into criticizing nonsense about various 'personalities' in the movement is beyond me. It's like if y'all have a better idea of running a 100% independent media operation, able to GIVE away your work for FREE, and still have the wherewithal to figure out how to fund your operation with increasing popularity, attract premier guests, be my guest. SHOW us that you can do it better.

Seriously guys, aren't you all getting a bit sick and tired of seeing everyone tear each other down?

Today, I just saw the moronic thread about Dr. Paul 'in the pocket of Soros?' http://www.dailypaul.com/280165/the-ron-paul-george-soros-co...

It's like do we really have to start selling 'discernment skills?'

Is media savvy and propaganda discernment that 'rare' a commodity in people, even amongst long time DailyPaul members???

It's like really, WTF?

Who here really DOESN'T know that FrontPage is a POS AIPAC-whore neoCon rag??

That dipshit's article was basically insinuating that because Dr. Paul led a bipartisan effort to form a task force to review America's failed foreign policy, he's 'in league' with Soros?

Are you FCUKING kidding me? How daft does one have to be to not see that it's another in an umteenth 'Ron Paul's an isolationist' smear nonsense??

TWO election cycles of watching media propaganda, and still, it's not clear? Hesus F'ng Cristos. Is there no hope for the world? Yikes!

Predictions in due Time...

"Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it's realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy." - Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul

This post just reminded me to go over to Info wars

and check out the unmatched investigative work that wonderful team does day in and day out.

Must be a real Fan!

To keep track of all thaT? ;-/

You say 42...

Failed predictions is enough to oust him. Seems to me, by that analogy, we would NEVER have gotten light bulbs as it took 1,000 failed predictions to the 1 correct one before we "saw the light".

The only purpose to this thread IMHO is to stifel ideas. To be so closed minded would put you in the same mindset that the Earth is flat and the Sun revolves around the Earth.

Please, for the love of god, remove those shackles that blind your mind from reality.

It is one of the essential features of such incompetence that the person so afflicted is incapable of knowing that he is incompetent. To have such knowledge would already be to remedy a good portion of the offense.

Does that analogy...

Not sound like the same arguments Obama supporters use? That he needs just one more year to fix everything, even though he's failed at everything? I'm not defending the original author of this post, but it is probably better not to take the path where you look at the video with dishonesty. Those are a lot of failures and each one verified as just that. Alex sees the negative not just in what really is, but what really isn't.

Sure it could...

Be seen that way but there's a big difference. Oblahblah's followers lack the capacity for critical thought (their mind shackles still blind them). Jones' followers are, for the most part, unshackled and can and will search what he opinions as fact (they have a working BS meter).

There is the possibility he does this purposefully to see how awake his listeners are and to see if he has "blind" followers of which he has stated numerous times he does not want. The ones that are awake and do research will have their BS meter pegged on such opinions and will call him out on it.

One other thing to note here is the fact that Jones has a high level of integrity while Oblahblah has none, a huge character trait when weighing statements made by each, but to realize this, one must first have integrity themself. As the saying goes "takes one to know one".

It is one of the essential features of such incompetence that the person so afflicted is incapable of knowing that he is incompetent. To have such knowledge would already be to remedy a good portion of the offense.

42 mistakes lol

what about the thousands he has right ?

Unsuccessful disinformation agents

...don't slip in enough truth to make the lies seem credible by association.

Guess what successful disinformation agents do.

"The foreign offshore megacorporation bankers are behind it all."

As if.

The first prediction Alex

The first prediction Alex says "at current trends" which was when M3 was around 15% to 18% annual increase and still climbing. Had that trend continued it probably would have destroyed the dollar.

The second prediction is actually 100% spot on. "Staged terror attack coming at the end of 2009."
Anyone remember the underwear bomber which happened Christmas 2009?

The third prediction is vague as he says "next few years" and "could" and we are in that time frame right now with NK seemingly going off the deep end.

Fourth Prediction. He says that the 16 year old kids who were training to take away veterans guns as featured in the NYT will be ready. He nowhere says martial law will happen in 2-3 years, just that these poor brainwashed kids will be 18 and 19 years old.

Fifth prediction: Alex says "I wouldn't be surprised" if they stage something in 60-90 days. That's not a prediction. Again, within 150 days they did stage the Underwear bombing as shown in prediction 2.

Sixth prediction: Within 16 months (by june 2012) at least 15 European nations. Reading through this timeline it looks like a fairly accurate prediction. ALmost every European country is facing a sovereign debt crisis and needed huge austerity cuts and in need of bailouts. With this recent Cyprus haircut, it looks as if it could easily spread.

I'm not going to bother going on because if your first 6 "stupid" predictions are very close to being accurate I can't imagine how bad the other ones will be.

Fear motivates these attacks... La La Land is nicer.

Fear motivates the ongoing attacks on Alex Jones and others who have, for years, been trying to wake the sleep walkers among us.
Alex isn't perfect but who has done as much?

Cold reality that we are but pawns in a globalist game of plunder, destruction and slavery fuels the fear based 'la la la' avoidance mentality of those that can't handle the truth.

History shows you where things are going. Ignoring it because Alex is too gruff or that you believe that you have uncovered a technical inconsistency, does not make it go away.

Show us how you have done better and we will give your perspective the credence you crave. I'll be listening to Alex, in the meantim.e

I'm not sure where and exactly how this was lost ...

But at one time, it was well known common knowledge that there are two distinct kinds of news:

1) Hard News (fact), and

2) Editorial Content (opinion)

Hard news would be "POTUS signs un-Constituional NDAA authorizing indefinite detention of American citizens in violation of the Bill of Rights".

That's a fact. He did, and it does.

Editorial would be "The SHTF this April!"

.. which would be opinion, because claiming to know the future just about every case will always be opinion, and talking about these things in the news will always fall under Editorial.

I remember when I was little - and please jump in and confirm this if you were alive / aware at that time - but didn't they even go out of their way to indicate this on air during broadcasts? with a verbal acknowledgement or an 'EDITORIAL' flashed on the bottom of the screen

Perhaps because Corporate Media has successfully blurred the distinction (deliberately, imo) *so* far over the years - that people are now commonly completely oblivious to the difference.

Alex Jones also does this. His network is a seamless blend of hard news and editorial. He - and his anchors - flip back and forth between these two modes and blend them so much that this opens them up to accusations like this.

What you have to be able to do is be able to tell the difference. They're not going to do it for you.

When it comes to Hard News: the world owes a debt to Alex Jones, because every day this man works tirelessly to cover REAL EVENTS that the corporate press deliberately censors and buries in propaganda.

Alex is popular and reaches millions of people. So there are literally tens of millions of people that know about the NDAA exclusively from Alex. And who might not know about it at all otherwise.

Where he often comes up short is when he trails off into prophecy, hyperbole and hype - things that cannot be verified or proven. Then he opens himself up to being discredited and blown off as a kook when his predictions don't come true.

Alex knows that predictions and connecting the dots for people in an entertaining way gets him ratings. That's why he does it. Not to mention the fact that that's just his personality and the way he expressed himself.

The best thing to do is have a variety of alternative sources to check every day. Trust me, when Infowars covers hard news it's usually verified by other sources and documentation.

So completely blowing off Alex and Infowars because you don't like his editorial stuff or his style is a mistake imo. At least 80% of what they cover is hard news and dead on accurate to being informed about what's going on in the world.

Which is a wayyy higher percentage than you're going to find on MSM.

Making timed predictions is

Making timed predictions is useless, but he has the overall theme right.

I listen in to his show from time to time. It is what it is.

I especially like the mini interviews with police officers and military calling in.

Why is it that criticizing AJ

Why is it that criticizing AJ always sets off such an emotional reaction with some people? Theres not even any criticism here. Its all his own words with his own audio. Criticizing Ron Paul doesnt even result in such a backlash.

I thought the liberty community was keen to not making emotionally fueled reactions? Im not for dismissing everything AJ, but its good to get the facts out there so people can draw their own conclusions instead of becoming a cult of personality.

Only came up with 42?

I refuse to watch this video...But for as much as AJ talks and for as many "truths" he has brought out in the open/subjects raised...I would say he has done pretty good 42 wrong 45,000 (estimate) correct...Don't be fooled by his blustery delivery...That guy has done more to wake people up, and woke more people up, than anyone else out there...Period...If you think differently, your lying to yourself...And yes that includes Dr. Paul too...SHit I think I was wrong 42 time last week, and I still listen to me!

Bad food, worse weather, please rEVOLution the states so I can bring my family back home!
Rosa Koire for for President!

Yep, infowars.com

is where I first learned of Ron Paul. In late 2011 I stumbled across an article when I went on a quest for knowledge about why I, and so many others, had lost our homes. Alex Jones woke me up about the Fed, which introduced me to Dr. Paul, and a lot of other things. Sure, he's bombastic, controversial and sensationalist - but that's what grabs a people these days. In my case, I learned what I could from him and then moved on with my own observation and research.

Lot's of people freaked out when he was on Piers Morgan - but it sure kick-started the dialogue in this country about our 2A rights. Alex repeatedly alerted about all the DHS ammo and equipment purchases; Drudge links to infowars articles, then Forbes comes out with an article on it, Fox News picks it up, ol' Pat Robertson's even asking questions. Hence that subject is no longer a 'conspiracy theory'. It's being reported in the mainstream and it's pricking up a lot of ears. Congressmen are demanding answers that Cousin Janet publicly, willfully refuses to answer... It's a good thing when our government's bullfunky gets called out, and is taken seriously by the 'mainstream.' Love him, like him or hate him, Alex Jones serves a purpose.

When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign: that the dunces are all in confederacy against him. ~J. Swift

"Oh, Adnan, why won't you love me?"

Funny how

The ratings are disable for the video.
Bwahahahaha. Stupid shills.

Ron brought the Liberty movement together, Rand is expanding the crap out of it! :)

Down vote button doesn't work

Anyone else have this problem/

SteveMT's picture

So many must be hitting it simultaneously. lol

It worked just fine for me. I'm still laughing. Good comment.

Would the movement be as far along if there was no AJ?

What do you think? AJ can hurt the movement the same as he helps the movement. Do you think people would know as much about their corrupt government if it wasn't for him? Do you think the government is concerned with the people's welfare more, or the powerful money manufacturers? Do you believe AJ is trying to make us feel defeated or there is no hope?

Agenda 21, PNAC, CODEX ALIMENTARIUS and UN biodiversity study. Help me understand why I shouldn't think there is a big agenda against the wishes of the masses.

Hit piece.

Alex lost me 10 years ago.

About 10 years ago when I was a big fan of Alex he started this "fetus eating" propaganda regarding China. Since my wife is Chinese and since we travel there about once a year I decided to investigate this for myself. On our next trip we went to many hole-in-the-wall herbs and medicine shops looking for the elusive "fetus" that Alex said had become a popular "health" supplement. After trying several and having some shocked shop keepers look at the crazy foreign devil looking for "fetus", we came to the conclusion that the whole story is bunk. I anxiously called into his show to give him the news that the information he had was not accurate. I really expected him to be a "truth-seeker" and want to investigate further instead of passing bad information but I was wrong. I was ridiculed and actually called a "communist sympathizer" by Alex. I still listened to him for about a year and during that time I called his show a couple of more times to try to reason with him when he brought up the "fetus eating" but he would not listen. He always took the position that I was part of a of "disinformation" campaign when all I wanted to do was provide him with accurate information.

So you can see that I'm rather jaded when it comes to Alex calling me names when I just wanted to give him information. I've spent a good deal of my time and efforts to promote liberty for over 30 years (the Ron Paul Liberty Corvette is my making) and Alex is a new comer to the liberty movement in my eyes. I do welcome any positive influence he provides but I see so much negative influence I really don't trust him. Hey, maybe someday we will meet and when I tell him what happened he will say "yeah, I'm sorry, I was wrong about that but I'm glad you tried to straighten me out". Then again, maybe I am about to get struck by lightning...

Beware the cult of "government"...

Alex Jones is not perfect & he's made wrong statements

against the Catholic Church, but we plan to educate him over the next few months. We're not saying that we are happy about some of the leadership within the Church, but the Catechisms & teachings are all sound. For example, we are not happy with most of the Catholic Bishops here in the USA, because they have fallen too much in line with the secular Media versus the teachings of the Church, same way that many of our brethren have been wrongly influenced by them. But when Alex criticized Pope Benedict for being in line with the NWO, it was a BLATANT LIE. Pope Benedict was AGAINST 'statism' unequivocably, and we have the proofs of that.

Anyway, Alex Jones may not be ALWAYS right, but he is attempting to cover the news as it should be covered, bringing honesty back to journalism.

He allows on his website ANY & ALL COMMENTS. He never boots you off for what you say, even if you're crude and hateful. I think he figures that the honest bloggers keep the dishonest ones in check. They also, just like DP bloggers, recognize TROLLS when they pop in. This is all good.

Alex just needs to be careful not to alienate the good RP Catholics. That's all we've noticed. So what if he gets a little over the top emotionally.

C'mon man...

Just do a search on "Fetus pills from china", there are 2 Million hits.
Here's one...
ABC News credible enough for you.
Sheesh! Alex ALWAYS SAYS: "Go look it up if you don't believe me"
See how easy that was.

p.s. "Communist sympathizer", he usually calls people Al Qaeda! ;-)

Personal AJ Account

Thank you for telling your story. As news, reports and studies are, each news piece, report and study is from the individual person. After enough individual, or independent, accounts have been collected, there is a collection. From that collection, things can be inferred. All any collection can be is a guide to understanding the things individual and independent comprising the collection.

For many reasons, your experience with AJ carries as much, and maybe more, credibility than the credibility of a renown group's study on any subject. For one reason, the group must take measure to show its study is composed of independent individuals to avert judgments of contrivance. In effect, the group must ensure its study, ironically, is that of the lone person telling his story: a person without pressure so that things are how they are, because if the opposite occurs, where things are forced, then the study is bunk and, possibly, contrived.

That aspect brings me to this word: anecdotal. I've come to see its use is to produce disbelief in the individual -- you know, the foundation of a study -- and accept (even blindly) the overall/collective inference as something that will apply to the individual. Further, while people who bring up the word anecdotal use it disparagingly, people who tell their stories don't bring up that word and don't throw a fit about whether who hears them believes them.

Thank you for telling your experience, ChristianAnarchist.

Piers, Is that you?

What is the point in posting a negative thread about Alex Jones..

You should attempt to be half the man he is. He has done more to awaken the masses than just anybody i can think of..

You need to make better use of your time pal..

Perhap you were looking in the wrong places.

We are no better, and the Chinese are no worse. That is why both countries have such a high degree of cooperation.

South Korea Steps Up Fight Against Human Flesh Pills from China
May 7, 2012, 5:52 PM

Since August, Korean authorities have discovered nearly 17,500 of the human flesh capsules in the luggage of tourists and in international mail, the state-run Korea Customs service said in a statement Monday.

The pills, disguised as performance enhancement drugs, have been smuggled in by ethnic Koreans living in northern Chinese cities and contain so-called super bacteria that is hazardous to human health, the statement said.

South Korea’s crackdown on the drugs began last year after SBS, one of the nation’s major television broadcasters, ran a documentary accusing Chinese pharmaceutical companies of collaborating with abortion clinics to make pills allegedly made of human fetuses and the remains of dead infants.

The documentary claimed that DNA tests verified that the pills were made from powdered humans.

Read all the links...

So all the links provided simply refer to one source. A "documentary" by a S. Korean TV station. I'm sure we all trust TV documentaries, right? I know ours are spot on...

Here's a link to a Chinese story about the Korean documentary.

Now I don't trust the Chinese media and I don't trust our media and I don't trust the S. Korean media. They all want to sell advertising so their ratings are all the are concerned with. When reading ANY story, you need to try to read between the lines and see whats NOT being said as much as what IS being said. The Koreans claim to have been to the source of these pills and even made videos of the process, so where's the videos? They claim to have put the pills through some kind of testing and I would love to see the lab reports but there are none. If you know anything about Chinese, you should know that placenta is believed to hold some mystical healing and health properties but aborted babies have never been part of the diet. The link above has an interview with one of the doctors at the hospital that is supposed to be the source of the human remains and he says that he has never heard of any such thing. When I was asking my wife to check with her family in China they all said the same. They had never even heard of anyone doing such crazy things. That said, there is no guarantee that one or 10 or 100 of the billions of Chinese in China may have tried something like this before, but if it occurs at all, it's about a frequent as cannibalism here.

Beware the cult of "government"...
