Alex Jones just started a "brushfire of freedom," as Samuel Adams put it

It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men. - Samuel Adams

I believe Alex Jones set an example for us to follow on CNN. We should be civil and debate all other topics but the 2nd amendment isn't up for debate. The 2nd amendment is the "line", the "Rubicon"m whatever you want to call it it shouldn't be defended lightly. The 2nd amendment is not negotiable.

"He shouldn't have acted so angry and disrespectful" you say. I say we all should be pissed off because the lives of thousands of Patriots who died for our Rights will all have died in vain if we just give up the right to bear arms. This is the time to be irate, not violent, but pissed!

We shouldn't forget Mathew 21:12-13 Mark 11:15-18 or John 2:13-22.

This is the part where Jesus gets pissed and starts flipping over tables and raising hell in the temple.

It's okay to direct angry rants gun grabbers, sorry the truth hurts.

I appreciate you Alex Jones

How about James Yeager having his hand gun carry permit taken?

Our own Government is declaring war on us.

Now I have to worry about the Tennessee DHS stripping my hand gun carry permit....

As for action, I'm going to my first GOP meeting at 9am tomorrow morning and the only thing I plan on talking about is gathering support for 2nd Amendment Preservation Legislation to be brought to our county commission later this month.

I figure if I can get the sheriff and GOP chair on my side we can probably pass something. If not I'll propose it myself.

I refuse to let my slain forefathers die in vain. Tennesseans have been dying for liberty since the Revolution. Whether it be Andrew Jackson taking New Orleans in 1814, Davy Crockett and Sam Houston at the Alamo, Alvin C. York in WWI, or building the bomb in Oak Ridge during WWII.

I'll proudly be another Tennessee Volunteer and lay my life on the altar of freedom. Liberty is infinitely more important than my life.

You can take my rights and freedoms FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS!!

Actually, I take some of that back

I do not stand beside James Yeager, he made a threat and he deserves what he got. That was just plain stupidity on his part, no threats.

I shouldn't have made the comment without knowing the whole truth.

You can edit your post IF no one has responded to you.

I frequently think of my friends who are Democrats, gun enthusists and how they feel now.

I'm sure they feel VERY betrayed.

I tried

got the 403 so I replied to it instead.

I can remember hearing Obama say he wouldn't try to take guns a while back.

I also remember Obama, Biden, Ryan, and Romney saying my taxes wouldn't go up either....

When ever

Whenever you have truth it must be given with love, or the message and the messenger will be rejected.

Ok

That's a pretty broad generalization if you ask me.

I sure as hell got the message when my football coach yelled at us. I didn't see much "love" out there but I understood to pump my feet and have "blood on the saddle" whatever that means.

"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."

foolish

You need to learn about the battle of Culloden. A great example of how stupidity can defeat you. You and the AJ supporters would have us thoughtlessly charge the guns.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Culloden

the real question is do you

the real question is do you think liberty will be won any other way? It will not be won through government... we are only a blip on the great span of history. Your life means nothing in the history of time unless you be bold. Sure hope our children will live and carry our names forward; however, a couple of generations down the road and we both will be forgotten. But the men who fought in the Battle of Culloden will be remembered for ages... including by you proved by your comment.

Remembered for their bravery

and stupidity.

Fighting back is stupid????!!!!

Don't be a coward or make "stupid" assumptions.

loosing is stupid

How do you suggest we win against gun confiscation???

Seriously, the only way to win this one is to organize and show the feds they better not try it.

United we stand, divided we fall.

So how is a crazy rant

by alex jones doing that. Instead, he scares people. And they want to lash out against things they are afraid of. If you are in a fight, you don't stick your chin up to get hit.

No.7's picture

By betting attention and teaching people history

The history of gun confiscation = genocide and slavery.

Many people don't know that. It's very important that everyone knows what comes after gun registration/confiscation. It's our only hope at a free republic.

Another assumption

without citation. This is all AJ and InfoWars haters say.

I think the real question is: is ironman77 ignorant or does ironman77 ACTUALLY HAVE PROOF that AJ is paid opposition?

And the ball is now in your court. I await with open ears, Sir.

But please, ironman, stop trying to DIVIDE the Liberty Movement. That's Glenn Beck's job.

Lima-1, out.

If you don't know your rights, you don't have any.

Nowhere in "ironman77"s posts

Nowhere in "ironman77"s posts does he claim that "AJ is paid opposition", that is in "quiltingsando"s post above. Please look more closely before you reply and call someone names. You make yourself look bad.

You're right, he didnt...

Because that's my opinion. And you need to re-read my post. I didn't call ironman any names. Thanks, though, sport.

This is an awesome thread

I so agree with you my friend. This is not a subject to play nicety nice with these criminals. They have pushed us to the very edge and this subject is not up for debate. In the words of that great song the Dixie Chicks sang,"I'm not ready to make nice."

Texan Hot Sauce

Yah, ole Alex gave Piers a real taste of Texan Hot Sauce. Now that is some hot stuff good enough to start a fire anywhere. haha Way to go Alex, you knew what you were doing!

You know what!?

Crazy is only crazy when it's in the minds of a minority.... But oh you wait and see, when these 'crazy' thoughts of ours become a majority.

NO MORE LIES. Ron Paul 2012.

I used to distance myself from AJ

But now...holy shit I wanna get a tattoo of him on my chest! ps. I don't even have any tattoos already.

Seriously though, you do not 'debate' these fuckers. It doesn't work. It's like agreeing to join the military, haze recruits, become a colonel, kill a thousand people, etc. just so you can "one day" change the military.

They want you to play the game. They want use to 'behave'. They want us to send our requests in through the proper channels. I'm through. I'm done complying. I hope you are too. It's like Ghandi did, he didn't go to Britain and ask fucking permission from the queen. He just stopped. He stopped playing the god damn game and eventually HE WON!

NO MORE LIES. Ron Paul 2012.

That's the thing, Alex wasn't

That's the thing, Alex wasn't really going into this planning on having a point, counterpoint discussion. He simply does not respect Piers or his bosses and won't treat them like they're civilized humans who care. His way of fighting them is telling them and everyone else that he's on to them and he knows what they're up to and he knows what they're all about. Maybe it's up for debate whether some of these people are evil or just intellectually ignorant, but Alex believes they're authoritarian control freaks and he won't play along by having a polite conversation with a person that comes from that starting point. He doesn't believe they can be convinced, only taken down.

Alex's whole thing is about standing up to these people and refusing to play their game. He differs from RP's approach of educating young people who are going through the horrible indoctrination to Socialism through their "education". So they're fighting two very different fronts.

This is is the kind of war that has to be fought on many fronts.

Everyone has to play to their strenghts and not try to be something which they are not. Diplomacy and education on many levels can work but, not without the Alex Jones types fighting on another front.

I often wonder if Martin Luther King, Jr. and his followers would have gotten as far as they did without Malcom X and his followers fighting very differently on another front.

Except that war is the government's game.

The battle is on for our rights!

Free includes debt-free!

There is a big difference

There is a big difference between conveying a point with a purpose than just screaming and acting pissed off. Someone could act just as pissed that the government is doing far too little to control such events.... just saying

It may have taken 30 years, but Ron Paul left Congress well respected by his colleagues and the media. Its funny how as soon as the race is over, all the media pundits applaud Ron Paul, almost as if they wanted to the entire time and had a little chip in their ear saying "dont do it!"

He is clearly a more respectful, honest, and professional message conveyer with a more practical approach than Alex Jones. He has the right, but he came across as whack job, and the average person doesnt take that seriously.

Their motto is "Dont Tread On Me"...

No.7's picture

FYI, most people think Ron Paul is crazy

No Ron Paul is not respected by his colleagues and he sure as hell wasn't respected by the media when they were blacking him out.

The only reason people respect Ron Paul in public is because of all of us. They know there's a $#itstorm coming if they mess with him.

Alex always comes across as a whack job, and millions of people listen to him. Alex is a very intelligent whack job, but he was right to stand up to Piers the way he did.

It takes all kinds to convey the message of freedom

Sometimes it takes a Ron Paul.

Sometimes it takes an Alex Jones.

Sometimes it takes a Tom Woods.

Sometimes it takes a Weirman.

Sometimes it takes a kiterun777.

Keep it up.
