White House Ends "Deport Piers Morgan" Petition Early Ahead of Alex Jones Interview

At approximately 3:00 Eastern time, January 8, the ability to sign the Deport Piers Morgan petition was halted, and the White House responded to the petition on its website https://petitions.whitehouse.gov which asked to have British national Piers Morgan deported for "engag(ing) in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment." https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/deport-british-cit...

The petition had gained over 6000 signatures on the day, experiencing a resurgence in interest following the appearance of the petition's coauthor Alex Jones on Mr. Morgan's CNN interview program the previous night.

Having achieved its necessary level for a response of 25,000 signatures within 3 days of being posted, the petition still had 12 days to go until its 30 day expiration date of Jan 20. It has been observed that other petitions, particularly regarding states' rights to secession, have also met and exceeded the 25,000 mark but allowed to collect signatures over and above this amount for the duration of the 30 period allotted. However many of these petitions still have not been addressed by the president. For example Texas secession petition https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/peacefully-grant-s...

White House press secretary Jay Carney released a statement titled 'When Discussing the Second Amendment, Keep the First in Mind Too' within hours prior to the petition signatures stopping at 109,334.

Horrific, we should deport the President back to his village.

Seems that he has no respect for our constitution either.

.

What gave you that impression?

Oh, right.
