After seeing one Debate on Youtube in December
We had never heard of Dr. Ron Paul until we watched a debate on Youtube in December. We were so impressed with the message. He truly gave us HOPE for America.
I learned of Dr. Paul from a e-mail from a close friend
Back in November, I received an e-mail from a close friend who I served with in Iraq. Because he remembered my opinions expressed during the many hours he, I, and others spent discussing politics during the last POTUS election cycle, his e-mail suggested that I research Dr. Paul and learn about his message and record. I took his advice and within a day or two of studying RP info on the web, I knew that I had been led to a candidate that I could trust. Since then, I have joined this site, joined a local meetup group, purchased a RP for president t-shirt which I wear with pride, and have made a monetary donation to the official campaign. I am so glad that my friend informed me about the only presidential candidate that I can vote for in good conscience.

I knew of the Good Doctor for many months, however, I was an Ignorant American at first. At a Christmas Party I attended, my oldest brother had mentioned Ron Paul by name and I chuckled about it (at that time I was a Fox News fanatic) My oldest brother heard of him through my youngest brother. About a week later, my youngest brother mentioned him and some of what he planned on doing, so I decided when I get home to begin doing my homework. Many hours of online research and additional hours of YouTube viewing and listening to Ron Paul speak Ultimately got me on board. I give my 2 brothers credit for guiding me in the right direction by way of my curiousity. I give Dr. Ron Paul credit with locking me in as a Complete Ron Paul Supporter. My youngest brother is a staunch Ron Paul Supporter and I believe he belongs to the local meet up group my oldest brother is still doing his own homework. My parents will be voting for Ron Paul (my mom is open about it and spreading the message, my dad well he's a closet Ron Paul Supporter--he doesn't want my youngest brother to get a bigger head than he already has) My younger brother and our only sister are on board to vote for Ron Paul as well. So that leaves my oldest brother who's undecided and my older brother I don't know if he's allowed to vote due to a felony in the past. I just checked my email and FedEx has delivered my 2 magnets for my Truck, another bumper sticker, a hat, shirt, and yard sign. YAY oh btw I am no longer watching FNC EVER They as well as their sponsors are on my boycott for Life list.

2. How did you first learn about Ron Paul - please specify official or grassroots and activity type: conversation with acquaintance/family member - my brother is a big time libertarian, mostly because he hates taxes :)
3. Did your first contact inspire you to learn more, or did it take a few incidents of exposure to make you want to learn more? He inspired me to learn more, but I was not really on fire about him until November 5th!
Heard his name on freecapitalist.com radio
A few comments led me to search on the internet. I donated IMMEDIATELY and have become involved in supporting his nomination.
He then was interviewed on that radio station (which I've listened to for easily over a year) and again, his views were a breath of fresh air - his intellect was so obvious!
The website has changed, but back then, an article written by Dr.Paul appeared on the first page for about a month! It appears to be more of a forum format these days, but Rick Koerber still has his radio program and some of his opinions are also on You Tube.
They follow the 13 Key Principles to Prosperity (can be found at that site) and if you always follow them, you will live a life of prosperity. I have a copy on my "vision" board behind my computer screen to refer to often.
Principle #1 God is the Author of Prosperity
Principle #2 Faith begins with self-interest (our Faith motivates us, incentive gets us to move. Don't be selfless (selfless = self + worthless)
Right on
I will listen to that station!
Between that and rprradio.com I am now set at work!
SWEET!

I first heard about RP,
From Bill Maher on his show from May 2007 in reference to the May Republican debate and that RP was his new hero. I decided to keep my ears open about him after that. Later in June 2007(I think) when RP was on G4TVs AOTS show got me to pay him more attention so when the November and December Money Bombs happened I finally decided to "Google Ron Paul" and after visiting various sites, YouTube videos convinced me. Mainly the support expressed in them across a variety of demographics proved that RP could win.
In Mid November..
My husband tried to sell an ad to the campaign. Meanwhile I wanted to be sure I liked what he stood for before I would run it in our magazine.
Needless to say they didn't buy one, however; I ran numerous ads at the "cost of my own donations"! I even went to hear RP in the area and he signed one of my ads!

when everyone was denying the reports of rumor presidential runs. everyone denying that they would run are now doing the opposite + some. no one asked Dr. Paul and he did not make a rumor so people hoped he would run 'cuz all the other options are knockoff nikes and Ron Paul ownz footlocker.
the economic stance is mind boggling but is fragmented. the total economic stance is perfect but needs to be massed and organized because Dr. Paul has a better grasp on gas to grains.
