Disney World to Track Visitors with Wireless Wristbands -Video

New wireless-tracking wristbands designed to make the "Most Magical Place on Earth" even more hassle-free will hit Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., over the next few months.

Well, besides this being a private park

Well, besides this being a private park that costs $98/kid/day to go and nobody is even forced to go near it, I can say this is pretty market-OK / tyranny light.

I was there with my kids a couple months ago and getting around the place is terrible. Waiting in lines is terrible. If they can do anything to speed this up and give people better mobile apps and location awareness experiences than lets hope for some of this free-market-oriented technological innovation.

Call me when they start doing this at schools. Maybe so the Lanza-type killers can locate them when they are hiding.
