The power of the mass media - early results show 5 to 10% mistakes running consistent - LOTS OF VOTES UNCOUNTED - ONE WHOLE PRICINCT uncounted... and they say there is NO PROBLEM - only 1 or 2 votes wrong...
This is totally CORRUPT AND MIS-INFORMED... trust the media to TOTALLY IGNORE their diebold system totally failed to be accurate...

Well, regardless if the recount won't change any outcome, it is obvious that some peoples votes didn't count or went to the wrong candidate, and other's counted too much. Even if it's just a few percent, this should be absolutely unacceptable by the electorate. Lots of elections are won or lost on less than 1%, so we should not shrug our shoulders and say, "oh well". This really should be a big deal, although I know it's not going to be. 99.5% of voters are going to think, well, what a waste, it didn't change anything. I wonder if it would matter to them if they knew for a FACT that it was their vote that didn't count, or went to someone other than who they voted for. Probably not.
And then you get the newspapers and bc media saying oh it's only one or two votes difference, and that is to be expected, blah blah blah. Uphill all the way folks!!!!!

Look at Hillsborough, Manchester Ward 12 - Paul went from zero votes pre-recount to 3 votes after the recount! Do you know what kind of percentage that is? Infinite! If every precinct shows gains like this, then that means Paul not only won NH, he got more votes than there are particles in the universe!
Or not. Pick up 3 here, lose 3 there. That's why Kucinich netted only 1 vote.

Frankly
I don't care what the newspaper(s) or MSM say. Their words mean nothing to me as each are capable of spewing disinformation and psychological warfare to the gullible. Thanks to the hard work and brave efforts of groups like Blackboxvoting.org, I believe Diebold now anticipates recounts and in so doing have figured out how to circumvent the actual count and future recounts. Diebold knows exactly what will happen if they get caught cheating again (and they will eventually); so I don't think they laid around all year doing nothing.
Futhermore, I believe that any state that has not yet had its primary should immediately move to replace the Diebold machines with paper ballots to help restore the confidence of the American voters and the states should demand a refund from Diebold. In the process, I would freeze all the assets and accounts of every Diebold employee in management, programming, on the board, etc; until someone comes clean...
Aditionally, I would move to have every single election across the country within the last 22 months be hand-counted recount and if the winner won due to the Diebold machine manipulation, the position should go the the true victor who won the hand-count.
The advancement in technology is great and useful, however, something as important as "OUR" votes should never be left to the machines because machines can be hacked and or developed to fit the agenda of its financiers and sponsors.

I was trying to find history on the last elections prior to machines, how many votes were counted,and how long it took. (Funny isn't it that we net people want to throw out the machines? Use machines for good or evil.) Didn't find what I was looking for, but thought this huge MIT/CAL TECH study was interesting:

Obviously fancy studies (bet CalTech/MIT got a lot of $$$) don't lead to improvements. Hopefully one of the outcomes of this election year will be progress in voting validity and fairness. If it does not, we will fall deep into the black hole. And, we might not ever be able to climb out. I think it may well be now or never to expose the problems. Had we read the truthout article much earlier we would have been out taking citizen names within each precinct demanding election reform. I like her term NIMBY (not in my neighborhood.) Act locally needs to be one of our battle cries.

Canada and other Nations count their votes by hand for the whole Country in one evening.
We're only talking about 1 single state here, and a total of about 250,000 ballots. It should be possible to do that counting easily in about 4-6 hours (much less require an entire day).
All these delays and stalls now are just manufactured to allow for phony ballots and phony new totals to be produced to prop up the myth that the recount is 'mostly correct' and make the story disappear.
That is what is going on right now.
You don't need any damn computers to count the ballots.
Our own Country had successful Elections for nearly 200 years BEFORE ANY COMPUTERS ever entered the picture.
In an extremely tight and close Election in 1976, Jimmy Carter learned that he had prevailed over Greald Ford at around 1am (just 5 hours after the polls closed). The final and complete totals were known by dawn.

You do not need 2 months to do a recount and you do not need Computers at all.

Does this mean we have to wait a month and a half to even start, and then another month and a half to get the GOP results?
That adds up to a potential 3 month wait.
The point is the damage is done and the results are in.
Once you are not a contender you get no coverage and get no votes. Even if we find Paul came in third it's TOO LATE!
