NH recount results posted here:
http://www.sos.nh.gov/recountresults.htm
Republican votes are being counted after democratic votes since they started counting the dem votes first. As soon as a county completes counting the dem votes they move on to counting the republican votes.
Not all counties have recounted/reported yet.

Recount in this early State(NH) is a very important issue
If it shows the population that the machines are in error then we MUST stop their use in the rest of the primaries and more importantly in the general election. The law that was passed by government to make us use these machines is based on getting "all votes counted". This law must be repealed as the machines are not counting every vote. They do not serve us well. This is an issue for all Americans so let's not make it a republican issue. It is in all our interest. Lets get rid if the machines we all know why they passed the law and why they want the machines.
It is not because they care about our votes having meaning. It is to be able to decide what the vote is going to mean as they see fit. Hey they really care about us and do not want us to make the wrong choice. Now that's a nice thing isn't it. If you can't trust your government who can you trust? Is that a terrorist over there? Never mind, he just moved out of sight.... Ok well here are the results form the election... Good work you picked the right one! We trusted that you would...
my bad...
The Republican recount is not what is posted here....these are republican candidates that received write-in votes on dem ballots.
"The republican candidates listed at the end of this tally (indicated by the r next to their name) are candidates who received WRITE-IN votes on democratic ballots."
GOP Recount Starts Tuesday ..
I have indications that the GOP recount will begin on Tuesday.
There is a battle going on there
you can keep up to date on blackboxvoting.org.
The official story last I checked was that they're trying to invalidate Howards claim to a republican recount because the bank had not cleared the funds in the account, and were saying he missed the deadline due to that.
Onward we fight!
I don't understand
The link says it is "Democratic Party Recount Results Only." The numbers for Dr. Paul on this list are from Democrat write ins. Have they even started the Republican recount? And if they have, where are the results?

Okay, duh, I get it now.
These are write-in votes for Ron Paul, both official and recount, somehow turned in under the Democratic ballot. So, these people all took Democratic ballots and wrote in Ron Paul. Go figure.
That Secretary of State webpage does have some Republican recounts from other counties and those ARE republican votes (the numbers are large), so not write-ins. That is what I was referring to below. In those cases, numbers were up for all Repub candidates, with the exception of Romney, who lost of few. Those numbers were very small.
so how would they count
a democrat ballot with Ron Paul on it?
That *could* lead to suspicious activity too... someone (maybe with a Ron Paul button on?) & asks for a ballot, given the wrong one... or told they are out of GOP ones, use this one instead... room for fraud there!
I hope those votes for RP are counted??

can you supply a link
I would like to view the data that you are referring to....can you post a link?
actually, it was a link I followed from the thread here
last night. Now I'm beginning to doubt what that link was to. I'm sure it was the Secretary of State, but perhaps my brain is failing me and the recount numbers for the Republicans were for this Democrat recount.
That's not how the info was described, but could be the same confusion that has been pointed out to both of us.
I have no idea what is is that you are reporting...
They are still a long way from the final numbers so it is all meaningless at this point.

Over 20% more votes in this recounts?
Im not math wiz and too lazy to type all that into a calc but that looks like 20% or more more votes in the recount. If that holds true through all areas, wow, do i have take a lot of posts back about not caring bout the recounts....
These are DEMOCRAT Recounts only
Come on folks; How about trying to read a little before going gaga on this here forum:
"How to read these results:
These results are from the DEMOCRATIC recount only. The towns listed below are the towns where the recount is complete. The set of numbers under the candidate(s) name reflect the number of votes reported to the Secretary of State's office after the January 8, 2008 Presidential Primary Election. The number to the right (under the column marked "recount") is the number of votes the candidate(s) received after the recount of votes in that town.
********The republican candidates listed at the end of this tally (indicated by the r next to their name) are candidates who received WRITE-IN votes on democratic ballots. *********"
If you are not OUTRAGED, you're not paying attention!
gee wiz
sorry...hey lighten up...this is how we start/continue dialog and educate and thus empower ourselves.
these look like Ron Paul votes
not Democratic ones and the poster placed them under Official and Recount columns, so I'm not sure what the problem is. What are the numbers she posted, then? I don't think she made them up? Those are not just write-in votes she listed.
Keep up the good work.

any other data out there???
please post any other recount data to this or a new post....thanks
This is very interesting...
Admittedly, this is an extremely small sample so we have no way of knowing how trends will play out, BUT....
Original: 50 Updated: 63. That is a 26% higher count for Paul in the recount. That sure is not minor.
However, I saw another website, linked to from here, that had more votes from other counties included. On that page, it seemed every Republican candidate, except Romney, had higher vote totals in the recount than in the original tabulation.
So, if all candidates' numbers go up, Paul could end up in the same place compared to the others. It still begs the question, if the original vote was undercounted by a certain percent, WHY? I would always expect some error up or down, but not a statewide undercount of, say, 5%...that would be totally unacceptable.
That would be plan B
Stacked ballots....lol
