Alex Jones being pulled off of radio stations?

I work at an AM radio station in Florida. We have been airing Alex Jones for several years now. When I got into work on Tuesday afternoon, instead of Alex Jones, we were running other programming. I asked the program director why we weren't running the Alex Jones show, and they told me they wanted to stay "under the radar".

I wonder how many other stations have done this. I don't know if Alex Jones is a plant or not, but I really don't like seeing him get pulled off radio stations just for expressing his political opinions on national television...

Has anyone noticed Alex's show getting pulled elsewhere?

Well it sounds perfect

Because in the summer I have some amazing gardening and landscaping skills I like to put to use. And depending on where this house is, I kind of love raking leaves in the fall.

Even though I do not know you, I have a feeling we are two very different people, but there was one conversation we had that made me know we would be able to get along lol

I am planning my big move to solitude for two years from now, so I will make sure to keep in touch with you until then!

:) Okay.

The place will be around 90 miles by plane outside of Anchorage. Cold as hell in the winter, short growing periods, unless you use a greenhouse.

I want to start a little farm there where I hope to get as much of my food from the land as possible..

I will have power that I'll create through, steam, gas gen, solar and an ORC, which I have plans on.

My hot water will be produced by a homemade copper water coil that's wrapped around my wood stove flue, during the winter, which will give a cabin heat as well and electricity.

Summertime, it'll be an additional wood stove setup outside.

I really was pretty content to move there alone.. I actually am my happiest that way, when single anyway, but that's not to say that a good, well matched female, isn't welcomed.

Anyway, I look forward to getting the hell out of dodge but I may not make it in our current state, when a dictator thinks he can bypass congress on guns. Sad thought.. but I'm not going anywhere just yet.

While you do so, I will look at some of your posts on your proposed solutions, and we can discuss solutions instead of Alex Jones if you would like.

Can we stop talking about Alex Jones

and start talking about some solutions... other than voting?

http://www.dailypaul.com/269252/witness-protection-program-t...

Please? No offense to the AJ followers - I just haven't seen him propose any solutions other than voting or calling members of congress. The Tea Party elected 80 freshmen in 2010 and 75 of them voted to re-authorize the "Patriot Act."

Waitaminute seriously... I get down-voted for asking if we can focus on solutions? If I'm wrong about AJ there... can someone please correct me?

Can we stop talking about Alex Jones

on a thread about Alex Jones?

No offense vince. "The answer to 1984 is 1776." - Alex Jones

The solution is right there if only the others would look. I hear you about too much about Alex Jones. Right now there is so much tyranny in our government that a radical talk show host has captured the heart of the Liberty Movement, like it or not. He has interviewed Ron Paul more than anyone else. Your caution about believing in anyone too much is a great reality check for everyone.

Steve -

Tell me you research all sides of an issue before making a decision... do you? If so then click on all those links and tell me "IS THIS WHO YOU WANT AS YOUR LEADER?"

NEXT: TELL ME HOW HE GOT ON NATIONAL TV??? Why do people STILL WATCH THAT "programming" anyway???

Cointellpro or not... if AJ hadn't done a lot of really MESSED UP THINGS he would not be where he is... THE ENDS DO NOT JUSTIFY THE MEANS.

Then he constantly invokes the name of "God" all the while REFUSING to keep His commandments... HELLO?

Walk the path of RIGHTEOUSNESS -> OR BE WRONG!

SteveMT's picture

I'm not the one doing the down voting.

There was no nice way to gain independence from the British. Governments pay attention to nothing except power, "Macht," and they only do so when they lose the war. There is no nice way to kill people. In some cases, the end does justify the means. We would not be here if we were nice guys during the Revolutionary War. Our money would have the queen printed on it also, and we would now be Britain's "Groom of the Stool."

1776 will fail in 2012

Just ONE example: I would bet the farm there's prob a couple thousand drones in a bunker somewhere. Every patriot's home that has expressed any propensity to resist has been GPS painted. One button - no operator required... half the movement ANIHILATED in the first 24 hours.

Yeah maybe we would eventually "win" but at what cost? And then who would still be in control???? I'll tell ya who... THE SAME BANKSTERS THAT HAVE INSTIGATED EVERY WAR IN THE LAST 100 YEARS... WHEN ARE YOU PEOPLE GONNA GET IT????

They will attempt "Shock and

They will attempt "Shock and Awe".

I was reading some

I was reading some interesting comments on the CNN website after the Alex Jones interview and found this one very interesting. This person put it into a nice perspective.
--------------------------------------
In WWII, Japan's highest ranking naval officer was Admiral Isoruku Yamamoto. Although he was Japanese, and his loyalties were unquestionably with The Empire, he studied for many years in America, graduating from Harvard University. There is an oft-repeated (and sometimes disputed) quote attributed to him regarding the possibility of any nation taking a war to American soil:

"You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass."

Here is why he was correct:

The state of Wisconsin recently completed an entire deer hunting season without someone getting killed. That's great, considering there were over 600,000 hunters that got permits in 2010.

Allow me to restate that number.

Over the last two months, the eighth largest army in the world - more men under arms than Iran; more than France and Germany combined - deployed to the woods of a single American state to keep the deer population under control.

But that pales in comparison to the 750,000 who were in the woods of Pennsylvania or Michigan's 700,000 hunters have now returned home. Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia, and it is literally the case that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world.

And that is just FOUR states.

The total population of registered hunters in America today ranges from 23 million to 43.7 million individuals. (Based on annual data provided by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.)

As long as the American Hunter retains his right to Bear Arms, America will forever be safe from foreign invasion of troops.

Hunting - it's not just a way to fill the freezer. It's a matter of national security.

And Just imagine the number of people who are not hunters but own weapons.

Don't worry about the drones. They are vulnerable

You certainly did

I got down voted for saying "I love Judge Napolitano." Seriously, that was all my comment said, and two down votes for me.

Now, do not worry about it, keep posting your ideas for solutions and do not talk about Alex Jones if you do not want to.

Is what happens when you act like a madman on national television. Great job, AJ.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

I always have to laugh when I

I always have to laugh when I hear people say AJ is a "plant" or "disinfo agent".

THEY are the people running our country and these false flag events. I don't quite see why they'd hire someone to tell the people about all the laws they are breaking.

“Let it not be said that no one cared, that no one objected once it’s realized that our liberties and wealth are in jeopardy.”
― Ron Paul

In all fairness. Alex Jones

In all fairness. Alex Jones exaggerates, distorts and sensationalizes pretty much everything he does.

He will take one Bill introduce by a sole member of Federal or state government and talk about it as if it passed as law.

His whole Bohemian Grove trip was utter nonsense and proved nothing. He frequently pushes guests to say thing they don't want to say and then afterwards claim they said it.

Whether he is a plant or just wants ratings is up for debate. I'm sure he believes soem of it. William Cooper exposed a lot of his stuff.

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

Bohemian Grove wasn't

Bohemian Grove wasn't nonsense.

But yeah, he does like to "misquote" people. E.g., RP was on the show the other day and Jones kept enticing him to say something similar about a Revolution and RP said "I don't know if I would use those words but..." On the front page AJ has an article titled: "Ron Paul calls for Revolution..."

"Bohemian Grove wasn't

"Bohemian Grove wasn't nonsense." Yes it was absolute nonsense. And the documentary producer exposed him afterwards. Alex knew he didn't find anything but still kept at it. There used to be a video of it on youtube, but I can't find it now.

But why don't you tell me what he discovered there that was so damaging.

ANd you just made my point about him distorting things. It is not a misquote. It is a distortion and an exaggeration.

If you disagree with me on anything you are not a real libertarian...

Actually, This is Fantastic

When I first saw Alex go into a unilateral rant on Morgan, I thought that he blew it. But I was wrong.

The publicity put Alex on the map. There are thousands of broadcasters in America who would have liked to have the notoriety that Alex got (good and bad).

And it also pushed the gun issue in front of the public - which was needed. As Alex accurately described it, it "shocked America out of it's daze".

In terms of his affiliates, they will come and go like a sine wave.

As a student of broadcasting since the 1960's, I can say that Alex is the best broadcaster on radio, regardless of your political beliefs. From a marketing point of view (and an artistic point of view), Alex is better than #1, Rush Limbaugh, #2, Hannity, or #3 Beck.
