Yeah, well I don't think that right wing guy is pretending to be a libertarian. I don't like his agreement to incremental controls on guns but I think he represented a good position for his neocon brethren because, frankly, I never would have thought any of them could get behind the idea that guns are for fighting potential tyranny. So for him to say that is a big step in the right direction for the neocons. And besides, faux-liberty dude very articulately debated Piers and made that pansy look like the pompous schmuck he is. We need the figureheads of the gun grab to be heckled and made to look ridiculous until this issue is blasted off the media radar.

...when the 'liberty-side' of the argument is made in a manner that is not consistent with liberty, then all one does, aside from the well-deserved kick in the nut-sack that the Limey received, is the continuing solidification of a faux-liberty position.

As I see it.

I believe it important to confront and shine light upon ALL such faux-liberty arguments. We can still enjoy the show, but it must be illustrated that his 'argument' is one that supports infringement of the natural right to keep and bear arms and one that empowers 'the state'.

It merely does so from a palatable-perspective to the right-side of the globalist-collectivist spectrum.

mentally ill. It is rather easy to establish standards by which nearly anyone can be labeled mentally ill.

Perhaps, SSRI's should be banned for prescription to people under the age of 21. IMO, this likely would have prevented many of the mass shootings. Instead of people learning to deal with depressing, real life situations in a productive, character building way, they are instead taught that covering up the depression with the "appropriate" pill is a good plan of action.

He supports the rebels being armed, does he not? But he is unquestionably wrong about background checks, mental health screening, full autos, and ownership by felons.

I don't know if it's to reintroduce the original intent of the 2nd Amendment to the populace suffering from collective historical memory loss in a more palatable manner or if he believes what he is saying.

That was definitely a high-point of articulation dealing with the specific subject of resistance to government in recent "debates."

He gets eaten alive EVERY night! And then, people turn him off, their bellies full and satisfied with a new serving of morganfries!

He exists for our pleasure.

And you can see, steadily increasing, the way pissy disrespects his guests by talking over them and dismissing the Constitution, which he so clearly loathes. This is what he does, if you allow it.

Now, the message Ben put out allowed for piers to talk over him a little. But the messages that AJ put out could not allow a stop. Two different techniques, both having their places and both owning this tool of the establishment.

I think it actually burned his hand when he picked it up but he NEW that if he threw it onto the table it would IGNITE and burn him tomorrow! Did you see how gingerly he had to set it down? All the while, it was burning a BRAND into his fingertips!

Does anyone else notice how he, incredulously, asks his questions?

As if he thinks people out in tv land are also asking the same wide-eyed unthinkable questions.

...totally mopped the floor with Pierce. His mentioning family members who perished in the Holocaust was very effective. THAT's the real reason human beings need "assault weapons". Shapiro was brilliant and uncowed by Morgan's bullying tactics. He turned the tables on him, pointed out his logical flaws and inconsistencies, and generally just devestated him, utterly and completely. It was better than watching the Superbowl.
