New York City to Restrict Prescription Painkillers in Public Hospitals’ Emergency Rooms

"Some of the most common and most powerful prescription painkillers on the market will be restricted sharply in the emergency rooms at New York City’s 11 public hospitals, Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg said Thursday in an effort to crack down on what he called a citywide and national epidemic of prescription drug abuse."

POLITICIANS decided that people in HOSPITAL EMERGENCY ROOMS are abusing pain killers? Is that true? People are getting unneeded drugs from doctors in emergency rooms? THEN ARREST THE DOCTOR. But if someone is to decide who needs pain meds and who does not, would you trust the politician or the doctor? Drugs prescribed by doctors ARE NOT ILLEGAL.
Had enough of the war on drugs yet?

Maybe they should just wall

Maybe they should just wall in all of NYC just like in Escape From NY, and give rational people a chance to leave before it is closed off so those commies can enjoy themselves without interference from rational thoughts and activities.
