Gibson had a fallout with real networks
What this article misses is that Gibson was on the payroll at realnetworks and this was revenge.
Btw, the history of spyware goes back back just a little further bit before this. Gibson, after "leaving" realnetworks hooked up with Winamp programmer and original spyware gurus who later signed with zonelabs and lavasoft for ziff promotions.
Also lots of good articles from Tomas c greene who later figured out gibson's shenanegins, too. Since you've pointed out that register co uk pleasantly keeps their articles around - with some assistance from google, you should be able to find damning articles about Gibson from the same author. ...stuff I'm sure steve wants people to forget.
Yeah, I'm thinking they are trying to be fuzzy and helpful
so we LIKE having govt in our internet.
I'd expect to see this from microsoft or Oracle.
Integrity means having to say things that people don't want to hear & especially to say things that the regime doesnt want to hear -RonPaul

I love www.isidewith.com shared it with everyone I know. If anything they realize its not just a red and blue idiot running for reelection.
