Wow, there really is something here for everyone

There are so many conversations going on. It is impossible to participate in them all.

This is a fun place. I forgot about that for a while. During the election, for me, all it was was work. Basically I was a traffic manager and a fireman. Boring. As in boring a hole in my head.

I hope things remain civilized around here so I can enjoy it, rather than being placed in the most ironic position of all - of taking on the role of government - government of the Daily Paul. That is not fun.

Government is no fun. Why is it so popular?

Positive support for Ron Paul ideas! Support from the Restoration and Liberty Movement on

When voices unite with shared intent...

the mightiest oak will fall.

"In the Solomon Islands in the south Pacific some villagers practice a unique form of logging. If a tree is too large to be felled with an ax, the natives cut it down by yelling at it..."

Soldiers will 'break rank' when crossing a bridge, otherwise their steps in unison will cause the bridge to vibrate and collapse.

This site is wonderful because, despite some minor differences of opinion, everybody here has got their facts straight. We can talk about things like vaccinations, fluoride, false flag, fiat currency etc without having to explain or prove anything. On those types of topics almost everyone is 'in synch'.

This sort of thing happened to me most vividly in real life in 2008 when I helped form a courthouse steps protest against the $700 billion TARP program. 8 hours of making signs, calling media outlets, and talking about the New World Order with 10 people who taught me a lot and never looked at me like I was crazy for such talk. Not even once! 8 hours and I had more energy than I ever remember having. 5 hours of sleep then 5 more waving our signs and being happier than I think I'd ever been.

And that's the kind of energy this site provides. Combine that with a philosophical leader who's 77 and still sets a pace one can hardly keep up with, and you've got the world's first true perpetual motion machine:

Chris Indeedski!

Daily Paul cured my abibliophobia.

Hi Michael!

May I take this opportunity to congratulate and thank you for this truly awesome website!

Also a suggestion: 'Daily Paul TV'!

I personally would love to see a web TV channel version of the DP, with interviews, etc, perhaps syndicating many of the media already embedded here. You could get Matt Larson to do it, I bet he would love that. Go Ron Paul! Peace...!

Obedience to God is resistance to tyrants.

You're the best!

DP is the biggest brushfire of liberty.

You have created an environment that encourages........

.....freedom and individuality. Thanks for all the work and time you invest.

embeding videos

Are we able to embed videos as users or are you the only one able to embed videos?

The founders would be ashamed at us for what we are putting up with.

As well as images? I would

As well as images? I would like to post some of my cartoons in the Art section.

Mr Nystrom

Would you please consider making a "Canadian Forum" in the Forum Topics

It is clear that the message of liberty holds no borders and can grow in leaps and bounds; will you please put some consideration into my request, thank you.

Why is no one talking about Aaron Swartz?

Suicide? Are you kidding?

Why is government so popular?

It's fun for sociopaths my friend.

Just a little present for you Michael, and

the rest of the gang. This is my way of having fun when not riding motorcycles or working in the garden.

1-pound crabmeat(today I am using 2)
1-pound shrimp (today 4)
1-pound crawfish (today 2)
3/4 pound pure butter
3 tablespoons minced garlic
2 bunches green onions(shallots)chopped
3 large sweet yellow onions,chopped
2 chopped bellpeppers
4 chopped cayenne peppers (today 10)
2 capfulls liquid crab boil (today 4)
5 shakes worchestershire
2 tablespoons honey
8 large bellpeppers hollowed out for stuffing (Tops diced and added to pot)(today I'm using 18)
2 boxes plain bread crumbs. (today 4)
1 egg (today 2)

Add everything into pot except bread crumbs, 8 bellpeppers for stuffing, and egg.

Saute' gently until all is cooked down. There will be plenty of liquid. Onions, bellpepper etc does not have to be cooked well.

Once this is done set to the side to cool. After cooling add bread crumbs until mixture is firm. Add egg and stir a little more.

Scoop or as I do, use hands to stuff the peppers. Let sit in fridge for a couple of hours. I vacuum pack what I want to freeze and usually leave out 2 for Susan and I to have for dinner as I will do this evening. Steam these 2 and enjoy.

Sounds like a lot of work but it isn't and in the end it is a labor of love. No meal is worth it's salt without a lot of love.

PS: Will be making homemade Andouille tomorrow as I did 20 pounds of Boudin last Monday. Cooked 7 pound for my employees Tuesday. Life is good when you can share with others.

Unfortunately some people have "fun" controlling others.

They don't understand the peace that comes with letting others go.

BTW, thanks for this site and all your hard work!

Liberty celebration award nom

Hi Michael, you were one of my selections for the recent 2012 liberty celebration award for your work here at DP.

(kind of worthless info, but I was hoping you'd be recognized )

Currently consuming: Morehouse's "Better off free", FDR; Wii U; NEP Football

Proving our critics wrong

The growth of the Daily Paul certainly refutes the prediction (hope??) that after Ron Paul retired from Congress, we supporters would just go back home and go to sleep like good little sheeple.

Not only will our hero be more active than ever, educating people and building a libertarian consensus, but we are also (for the most part) becoming more well-informed, more engaged, and more effective, both on the internet and in the real world!

You should make more rules and laws

.... That will make it better ! More and more rules and codes and statutes and laws and programs with new taxes to pay for it all ! Yay government !!!!

Forget that man, this place has more faces than a deck of cards

I always thought of this movement like some proto-plasmic entity, always morphing, adapting and trying to figure out what it wants to be when it grows up.

Ebbs and flows come naturally to any entity (dare I say "organization"?) but this one takes the cake. We might just be able to resolve our feelings about Alex Jones (apparently no position is safe at the moment) but we're just getting down from being The Daily Gun, before that it's all been school shootings and this barely after we turned into The Daily Alien and the end of the universe. Add to that a spate of personal vendettas and private wars being fought, some persons actually aligning with liberal sites that pretty much exist to attack us and it's just never a dull moment.

I even had at least one person running around pretending to be my wife. The creepy thing there, besides the fact that they did a pretty good imitation (you blew it Smudge, we really could have been something but no you drunk part breed) was that this person had obviously and intently studied everything I had ever said. I was pretty convinced she WAS ACTUALLY MY WIFE but they made some slip up that indicated they were running things in and out of Google Translate, can't remember what it was but that was the tip off but check this: what possible reward or benefit could anyone logically derive from character assassinating a SMUDGE POT? The name itself is already so...besmudged that trying to smudge it more just makes that spot cleaner.

My final opinion as of this point? This is still a great place to learn but it's better for learning about ourselves and it might be the only place we're gonna learn to laugh at ourselves.

Most of those who think so actually don't and most people who think sew actually rip.

You should join us more often now, Michael...

We want more Micheal Nystrom...less Daily Paul G-Man behind the desk.

O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Just for fun, I like to compare

today's leaders of the revolution to the original American Revolution, especially the Sons Of Liberty. So, I was thinking of who you, Michael Nystrom could be compared to. I think Lemuel Robinson, the owner of the tavern where they met a lot. I know they also met at the church, too, but hey, I had to come up with something. Of course I hope you don't die of smallpox in the fight, though like him. Take your D3 so you don't get that nasty flu going around there. Now,I know, as one astute dper mentioned yesterday that the Sons Of Liberty met at different places all over the colonies, so I am not discounting that, but since Michael lives near Boston, I thought this was appropriate. Maybe others could come up with other comparisons. Fun, thinking of who would compare to others in the first revolution. Patrick Henry? Who would that be? Well, thank you for all you do, Michael, and hope you can continue to have fun.

Do you understand what you've done, Michael?

You single handedly brought a bunch of lone voices in the wilderness together and created a voice heard around the world. Be proud, my friend, and keep up the good fight.

We may not always agree but, at least we are never alone here and continue to learn and grow. Thank you for being you.

Good to see you enjoying yourself here again!

glad you are able to enjoy it now

Why is government so popular?

If you produce a product then the customer is sovereign and freedom reigns.

Giving government the right to borrow and tax insured that it would never need to produce anything of value.

Some people love government and want to use it to tell people what to do.

Other people love government because they can tell people what to do directly.

That's my current thinking.

Daily Paul is full of interesting and valuable information. I'll be back later, got to see a guy about a gorilla.

Free includes debt-free!
