Prices should plummet

Interestingly enough, if you understand how Wal-Mart works, this should make ammo prices plummet.

You see, for pretty much everything Wal-Mart sells they buy in bulk. And I don't mean Costco-sized bulk, I mean government-sized bulk. They often (if not usually) force companies to take a loss on their products because they have so much buying power. It is a sleazy business game. They tend to corner their vendors into it.

So, if Wal-Mart stops buying something you are guaranteed that there will be a major surplus while the vendors get rid of the sudden excess.

The only question is whether the demand right now is so high from the current scare that it can keep up with Wal-Mart's former demand. But after the rush is over, who knows what will happen?
