UFO Sightings at International Space Station on the Rise

As 2012 ended and 2013 began, numerous UFOs were reported around the country -- nothing earthshattering there -- but what about alleged unidentified objects seen in space near the International Space Station (or ISS), a couple of hundred miles above Earth?

Videos have cropped up on YouTube showing images taken by NASA cameras of objects of different shapes, some moving very slowly, others rapidly hurtling through space.

What, exactly, are we looking at here? Alien spacecraft dropping by for a visit with the ISS? Reflections from ISS windows? Meteors? Or various types of orbiting or fast moving spacecraft-generated debris?

On Christmas Day, YouTube poster Streetcap1 recorded video of a silvery object, moving slowly near the curvature of Earth. At :46 into the following video, the object can be seen in faraway perspective.

Maybe they are coming to save

Maybe they are coming to save us from the crazies who are in government.

this video

had some pretty good understandable explanations for the objects seen and especially the particular shape of the objects

TROLL alert!

Here is a person that has only posted here extensively since December, 2012 and all of her posts, comments border on the insane.

She is divisive and adds nothing to further the discourse of what we can do to solve our problems.

Take her for what she is; an idiot, or a troll, or an agent provacateur.

Whatever she is, she isn't helping the Daily Paul so call her out and stamp her down like the fool she is.

yeah, you too, brother

We've got 2nd amendment rights to fight for and you two want to talk about aliens.

That's fine, they have their place as I believe in ET's, too, but you need to prioritize.

What is important NOW?

When we ALL see aliens in the sky we'll address that but, for now, it is GUN CONTROL that should have our focus.

The ONLY laying off I'm going to do is when we have resecured our rights.

You don't like that, its YOUR problem!

Really?

This is the most divisive and insane post here on the DP? Don't read it if you don't like it.

I do not care either way about Rand or Alex so I don't jump into those conversations. I talk economics all day at school so I don't go to those threads often either because I do not feel like it when I come here.

I avoid abortion threads like the plague because they become way too divisive and inflammatory.

I like aliens. I like talking about aliens. If you do not want to you do not have to.

I have not posted much here until December 2012 because while a lot of you talk a big talk about giving the government the middle finger and living off the grid, that is what I was doing. Then when I came back to the grid I was in London going to school and I did not have time to comment much. So, yes, those who have been here much longer and commented much more... all that says to me is you have wasted more of your life online than I have.

Let the mods decide if I "help the dailypaul" or not, and leave me the fuck alone.

I like your posts

Don't be offended. I like reading about aliens. I just watched book of secrets, Area 51 and I'm going to catch up on the new ancient aliens tonight. I don't know if I believe in them or not, but it it fascinating. Keep doing what you are doing, it is appreciated.

Are

you being facetious? If not, that would be two things we agree on. (the other being that clown to the north of us) I saved your "Can I clear something up for you guy" comment a while back. That was spot on.

Not at all.

I am a big time alien nerd, but also a huge skeptic. At least it's fun to read.

You've been fighting the good fight on that other front for a while, I had to chime in that day. it appears to have calmed itself down for a bit, but we know it's just the calm before the storm! Lol.

I think

the show is fascinating as well.

As far as the "pickle" goes, he's stumbling around as I type this. He should have been 86'd from this place a long time ago. Now the idiot has gone from Geejay 2016 to Rand 2016..
We may disagree on a few things, but I'm starting to entertain your theory on him being a paid antagonist.
If I didn't know he was a lazy free gubment cheese mooch, I'd say you were correct.. That guy annoys the shit out of me.

I'll see you at the next meltdown

Get your hazmat ready, could be any second now.

Thanks

Not offended. I'll give him that some of my posts are off the wall... yet they hardly get read (which I am fine with, gives me more freedom in posting) and always filed under "weird stuff."

Ancient Aliens is so much fun. I know it is not the final word and the be all end all of the information on the subject, but there is some good stuff there.

Maybe he didn't read the article?

Your title was obviously Huff Post’s title. Reading the article lends to speculation about just why the sightings are on the rise

(and you can help find them)

Based on what I know of science "visiting aliens" aren't impossible, though I consider them improbable, lacking solid, empirical evidence.

I doubt many, if any, of these "sightings" are actual extraterrestrial beings, though, I could be wrong.

I do love the space stuff, it’s a nice distraction from the mundane “end of civilization as we know it” stuff. :)
Thanks for posting.

lol

Maybe he did not read the article or maybe he has some extra testosterone flowing through his veins today. Who knows.

I get it, most of the sightings are probably not extraterrestrial beings, but it is fun to think about isn't it? For the time being I stay up in the middle of nowhere mi. I mean far enough away from life I am surprised the internet actually works. The sky is beautiful at night here and it is hard to not stare and wonder about these things ya know?

Starry winter nights in Colorado

first drew me into space, and I never left. My current view of the sky in nuthatch (not a real city)*, TN has one tenth the stars you can enjoy. Anyone that doesn’t marvel at the universe never saw a sky like you have, I think.
I feel sad for those who haven’t, it’s better than drugs. ;)

To think other life and intelligence doesn’t exist out there, somewhere, is pure human arrogance, IMO.

Looking for evidence of aliens reminds me of those nights in Colorado.

aliens are a new tool, to scare idiots.

not one alien has chosen to come close enough to make it evident.

Terrance McKenna said it best, looking for aliens in space is like looking for a good italian restaurant in space, the reality is that consciousness is not restricted to where we believe it fits.. for all we know there could be an alien invasion coming from a spec of sand.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford

Quite right

Who's to say that we don't lack the physical senses to detect beings that are energetic in nature. We would be naive to think that everything that is alive, conscious and intelligent must be "touchable".

"We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience"—Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

well

it is pretty naive to think there isn't any other life out there in such a big universe

my point was that there are more alien life to us here on earth

than in space,

and they may not be searching for us the same way were searching for them.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford

And his/her point was

that you really don't know what you're talking about. It makes no sense at all that in the vast area we call space that there isn't some other life.

and my point is you dont know that I dont know what your not

talking about.

I'm saying lets land on Planet earth and start there

:)

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford

Your point is irrelavant to this discussion

We don't have to talk about what's going on at planet earth every day and every second of that day.

and we dont have to pretend aliens fly through space either

because those are not evident.

I'm not saying don't ponder I am saying aliens can be used as a tool to fuel ignorance as well as curiosity.

There is no reason why mycology, the study of a living immune system living on this planet, should receive on 10% of grant and federal subsidy then looking for hypothetical lifeforms... look at most of the grad schools and astro-biology gets 10 times more attention than mycology

we should separate the lore from the myth.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford

And we don't have to pretend that your comments matter

either.

When you think you can actually debunk life in the universe, we'll address lore and myth, till then you're just an assclown on the interwebz. Meanwhile, I'll discuss what I like to discuss despite the myopic mentalities on it.

sorry to offend you

my point was that it is used as a tool not to imply that all people who speculate about alien life are idiots.

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford

I never said aliens couldn't exist

I said searching for them is irrelevant

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford

jrd3820's picture

Well, aliens scare me

So I guess I am an idiot. Thanks for your input though. Oh, and Terrance McKenna is not exactly a genius himself.

no he is not a genius, but nobody is.

consciousness is too relative for me too worry about UFO's... we have not come close to finding all life on this planet.

this is why there is more money invested in studying hypothetical life than on our own ecosystems

Whether you think you can or you can't, you're right. -Henry Ford

Although you make valid observations they in no way

relate to what she says or to life outside of our solar system. Is it so hard to make the next step and say the very same thing about space? We hardly know what is all here soooooooo, wouldn't it stand to reason that we know even less of the possibilities throughout the universe.
