3D-printed 30-round AR magazine brings us ever closer to a fully 3D-printed gun

Well if those psychopaths do try to ban 30 round magazins, I don't know how effective it's going to be when one can just download and print one xD:

3D-printed 30-round AR magazine brings us ever closer to a fully 3D-printed gun

If you’re a fan of a science fiction or perhaps a post-apocalyptic future where roving gangs overthrow traditional government because it’s so easy to get weapons, you might be following the progress of the first fully 3D printed gun. An entire, working gun hasn’t been printed just yet, but now that a 30-round AR magazine has been successfully 3D printed, manufacturers are making significant progress.

Btw they had a kickstarter going to get the funding to develop their technology but were shut down so they decided to have a fundraiser in bitcoins and got their funding.. Got to love censorship resistant free market currency!

This is why Ron Paul is optimistic about the future

Its getting obvious that its NOT there control anymore

Awesome tech! Something in the back of my mind though tells me this is not our solution to our current over reaching government. Even with regards to all the talk about potentially repealing our 2nd amendment. We need to stand our ground.

Let us the "gun controllers" ban this? What are they gonna do?

Ban 3D printers?

some printers have been recalled,why?
they might upset the apple cart
there might be someone out there who created their own arm
oh yeah,they did that
we can't have the slaves building there own,can we?
I so feel like the slave that learned how to read
BOB,wanna bet these will go by way of the dodo bird?

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

This is why I am a long-run optimist...

We are reaching a point where technology is advancing so rapidly, politicians and their laws cannot hope to keep pace...

RIGHT NOW, anyone who wants to print up a working lower receiver (the only part of a gun that is currently regulated) can do so. Forget background checks, forget registration, forget "mental competency tests." If someone -- anyone -- wants a gun, they will have one.

The genie is out of the bottle. The question is... how to we want to deal with him?

This reality pushes all debate to the very crux of the issue: do we want liberty, or do we want prison? There's really no middle ground left. Will we learn to trust in liberty, or cower in fear and demand absolute totalitarianism?

I am hopeful that when faced between a choice of liberty vs. despotic statism, the answer will be clear enough...

When 3D printers...

When 3D printers are outlawed, only outlaws will have 3D printers.

Get them while you can.

Technology is moving faster than the 'psychopaths'' ability to keep up with regulating it.

That NY state bill wants to limit magazines to 7 rounds per clip. As if this is some kind of grand compromise.

Fine, shut the door and a window opens. Nice window.

He's the man.
