He has to show he cares about the childrenSubmitted by Michael Nystrom on Mon, 01/14/2013 - 22:30
That is the only logic that I can see for Obama going through with these executive orders over guns. He has to show that he cares about the children - all children - of America (but not the world).
Congressmen are ready to impeach him, the American people don't want new restrictions, the opposition is so strong. What is in it for Obama? Everyone knows that at the root of what the NRA is doing, it is ultimately doing for money. They're professional lobbyists, for god's sake. Which is not to say they're not doing good work.
But what does Obama get out of all of this? Who's paying him off to take this position?
Alex Jones would say it is the globalists. And when the globalists say dance, you have to dance to their tune. Look what they did to poor GWB at the end of his term, forcing him to stand up before the people of America and the word to meakly submit, "I destroyed Capitalism in order to save it." He had to dance.
But at the lower level of politics, who is putting the pressure on the White House to act? What interest groups, and who are they really representing?
Maybe it is as simple as my title says: "He has to show that he cares about the children." Maybe it is just that people want someone to do something. They don't care who it is, or what gets done, just so long as they're not the ones who have to do it, and they don't have to deal with whatever it is that gets done. Throw some laws at the problem, make it disappear, don't bother me about it.
However, if no one does anything, then they'll stop whatever they're doing (most likely ignoring their kids), and S C R E A M: "What kind of a country is this where people don't care about kids!? Somebody fucking do something abou this! On the double! Chop, chop. Fix it with some new laws!"
I don't know. Politics is weird. It is like family social drama played out large.
