..And although I am skeptical of those in office...this fellas words ring true.
Some have focused on "other" points in his speech here...preferring to point to the mention of the mentally ill, and I feel that is totally missing the point.
On the other side of the aisle:
Senator Andrea Stewart-Cousins
Democratic Council "LEADER"
.......Forgetting that they are "Public Servants", entrusted to serve NOT rule or "lead the way", but to follow the wishes of the citizenry.
The Empire State...that phrase is on EVERY license plate.....
...it needs to be abolished.

Since congress has allowed Obama to bypass the Constitution 16 times in 2012 and he is attempting to continue doing it, i wouldn't rule out Obama finding a way to run again in 2016.If so,will Project Vote be used again since it was successful twice in a row? With George Soros and his Open Society Institute continuing to fund so many leftist organizations such as ACORN who started Project vote. Project Vote was a success because Obama, like any good Shepard knew his sheep. When Obama said,i learned more from Saul Alinsky's' community organizing' than i did in all my years at Harvard Law School he wasn't lying. His ties to ACORN served him well.Obama warned America what he wanted to do and why. While a senator in the state of Illinois he faulted our constitution for omitting any mention of "wealth distribution." Everything brought out in the movie 2016 should have been know by every citizen in America before hand. There was no excuse of being ignorant about Obama although many voter were not."When the people find they can vote themselves money that will herald the end of the republic." George Washington. Votes in return for entitlements from the 80 entitlement programs that exist today. Norah Webster: "If we vote an immoral man into office we are a traitor to our country." Looks like Benedict Arnold has a lot of company in that department. Look at both the 2008 and 2012 exit polls to see just who these groups are because they are the very people Project Vote campaigners said they were going after for their votes. They figured if it worked once,it would work twice. It did.
Seems he has friends IN congress that are already on the case!
What would the Founders do?
Listening to the Alex Jones Show a caller just dropped one of those golden ideas whose time has arrived :

"The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it." -Thomas Jefferson
as done to military vets demonized already as mental cases at any sign of dissent against government, and they can be picked up without a warrant, held indefinitely, murdered by presidential order, with no accountability. This is about more than gun control. Be careful America. You are being MIND FUCKED again.
Obama Executive Order Will Nationalize the Demonization of US Veterans as Mentally Ill
"This kind of control over citizens by government was practiced by Mao in China, Communist Russia and Nazi-controlled Germany. As following in the footsteps of previous dictators, Obama is proving himself to be the next in a dangerous line of Fascist controllers who will imprison his own military if need be to accomplish his goals set forth for him by the global Elite."
and I was applauding the guy until I read your comment. It sickens me that even though I think I am awake I am yet so stupid...watching for the left hook and getting a right one...at the same time.
Are there any historical examples of people who were able to divert tyranny?
with the American revolution.
Now, in the present, as goes America, so will go the world. The media is a source of confusion to the people. They are mind controlling the not too aware folk and doing it easily.
Hitler used the media, movies, every kind of psych game to get control the German people, and Hitler was a trial run for what is going on today in America and the world.
...never heard it that way before. I understand that Walstreet paid for Hitler and the Bolsheviks though.
I haven't read the books, I've watched the Sutton videos though.
and some say the US Constitution was a consolidation of power whereby we no longer diverted tyranny...some men like Patrick Henry:
“I rose yesterday to ask a question which arose in my own mind. When I asked that question, I thought the meaning of my interrogation was obvious. The fate of this question and of America may depend on this. Have they said, We, the states? Have they made a proposal of a compact between states? If they had, this would be a confederation. It is otherwise most clearly a consolidated government.”
You just blew my mind with, http://users.wfu.edu/zulick/340/henry.html, that was brilliant. Rerouted some nerve endings in the brain on that one!
Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts.
I was introduced to that document last year by Josf here on the DP. It was mind boggling and troubling. That being said though, I trust no one that wants to get rid of the Constitution or who wants to "re-write" it. However it appears that nowadays some of it is simply being ignored.
a recognition of the right to keep and bare arms? I think every other state has it in their state constitutions. Ohio's is more broad and clearer defined than the US constitution.
Legislation doesn't trump constitutions. Never has.
Ohio Constitution: The people have the right to bear arms for their defense and security; but standing armies, in time of peace, are dangerous to liberty, and shall not be kept up; and the military shall be in strict subordination to the civil power
Clearly our standing army has become a menace to the world and dangerous to US citizens.
he didn't say every schiz and bi polar person is dangerous, but in this case she feels her son is a threat. Some people know their sons/daughters are violent sociopaths but there is nothing they can do about it. I disagree that the mentally ill should be become a burden of the state. There is no more surefire way to NEVER solve a problem then to make it a cause of the state.
In your topic the "C" should be lower case. This has no effect on the upper case C (proper noun) Citizens.

new york is a leftist cesspool. it would be wise for anyone still living there to get out while you can so you can watch it implode from the outside.
And suggestion to make a post out of it.
I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.

If NY stands up the rest of the country will support the effort I am sure. Time to end these tyrants time in power.
Just manufacture belt-fed bolt-action or semi-auto rifles and pistols.
It's the only way to prevent him from a 2016 run.
Liberty movement should look for a strong Republican to challenge Cuomo. We need to do like a $1Million money bomb type stuff. Anyone from New York? what are your thoughts?
"First rule of Government Spending: Why build one when you can have 2 at twice the price?"
his comments about the Schiz and bipolar where disturbing. I thank GOD my son was not in the room when I listened to this clip. My son has Schiz and is bipolar and it broke my heart to hear this man say my son is a threat to society. No correction it makes me sick ! We can not demonize people with this illness because of one loose cannon.
..And although I feel for you and your son...consider this:
Sen Ball never said your son is a threat to society..NEVER!
He NEVER used that term..You have put a "spin" on this, sad to say, and your comments are misleading...please reconsider them.
Sen Ball did illustrate that "Society has failed" the young man he makes mention of, by virtue of the lack of "focus"...SAVING LIVES.
Saving Lives versus Gun Control....throwing the mentally ill, and their caretakers under the bus, ignoring their needs...yet passing legislation that makes criminals of law-abiding citizens.
I feel for you...my own son was headed down the road to institutionalization, incarceration, being misunderstood, and a bad life....thankfully he has turned this all around...Thank God.
...I wish the best for yours also.
Most mentally ill people are more harm to themselves than others. Hers could be the exception, but without details we don't know.
Conscience does not exist if not exercised
"No matter how cynical you get, it's impossible to keep up!
I agree with what you're saying, but just wanted to say I didn't get the impression he was demonizing people with that illness. It seemed clear to me in what he was saying that this particular person had a severely bad case, and didn't apply to every bipolar or schizophrenic person.
God Bless him.
It is encouraging to know that a knight's code of honor... still exists.
Rudy Giuliani needs to give back his official "knighthood: which is a sham...and a scam....and don't even begin to start the Cuomo dynasty. DISHONOR.
Great to see, with this brave state senator...that the FIRES OF LIBERTY are still alive in the Empire State.
God bless him.
Thanks for sharing this video.
Time to INVESTIGATE the investigators of 9/11. PROSECUTE the prosecutors. EXPOSE the cover-up.
It expands "the state's existing assault weapons ban" and addresses gun ownership of "those with mental illnesses in the first major legislative action in response to the Newtown, Conn., school massacre."
Edit: "Bans possession of any high-capacity magazines regardless of when they were made or sold. Only clips able to hold up to seven rounds can be sold in the state. Clips able to hold seven to 10 rounds can be possessed, but cannot be loaded with more than seven rounds. If an owner is found to have eight or more bullets in a magazine, he or she could face a misdemeanor charge."
...does this bit even apply to criminals?
Feel free to reuse any resources/ideas that I post on the DailyPaul on other networking sites.
I finished reading that above quote and started to laugh but then realized...this is our country. I mean....what the hell.
"If an owner is found to have eight or more bullets in a magazine, he or she could face a misdemeanor charge."
Seriously? I'm really trying to envision a scenario in which someone could be charged with this that didn't involve some orwellian police state move, or something more ridiculous: "Woman That Shot Rapist Charged With Having 8 Bullets In Gun."
Let Them Know...
Even STATE Constitutions are SUBJECT to the BILL OF RIGHTS!
i.e. RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS, The MEANS and MANNER of SELF PRESERVATION, is KNOWN AS THE "FIRST LAW OF NATURE":
Absolute Rights of the Colonists 1772:
In Full: http://www.pacificwestcom.com/oregonpatriotparty/Rights_of_t...
... Samuel Adams:
"...1st. Natural Rights of the Colonists as Men.--
Among the Natural Rights of the Colonists are these First. a Right to Life; Secondly to Liberty; thirdly to Property; together with the Right to support and defend them in the best manner they can--Those are evident Branches of, rather than deductions from the Duty of Self Preservation, commonly called "the first Law of Nature"--
All Men have a Right to remain in a State of Nature as long as they please: And in case of intollerable Oppression, Civil or Religious, to leave the Society they belong to, and enter into another.--
When Men enter into Society, it is by voluntary consent; and they have a right to demand and insist upon the performance of such conditions, And previous limitations as form an equitable "original compact".--
Every natural Right not expressly given up or from the nature of a Social Compact necessarily ceded remains.--
All positive and civil laws, should conform as far as possible, to the Law of natural reason and equity.-- ..."
Now Read This:
Virginia Ratifying Convention 6-16-1788:
In FULL: http://www.pacificwestcom.com/americanpatriotpartynewsletter
George Nicholas: "...But the "COMMON LAW" is "NOT EXCLUDED". There is "NOTHING" in "that paper" (APP Note: referring to the US Constitution being considered) to warrant the assertion.
As to the exclusion of a jury from the vicinage, he has mistaken the fact. The legislature may direct a jury to come from the vicinage. But the gentleman says that, by this Constitution, they have power to make laws to define crimes and prescribe punishments; and that, consequently, we are not free from torture. Treason against the United States is defined in the Constitution, and the forfeiture limited to the life of the person attainted.
Congress have power to define and punish:
a.) piracies and felonies committed on the high seas, and
b.) offenses against the laws of nations;
but they (APP: the federal government, legislature or supreme court) CANNOT DEFINE or PRESCRIBE the PUNISHMENT of "ANY OTHER CRIME WHATEVER", WITHOUT "VIOLATING the CONSTITUTION".
(APP Note: See this also in the Virginia and Kentucky Resolutions - Kentucky Resolutions #2 - This can be no clearer, the federal government and all those officials and citizens who support or allow others to be prosecuted under any "other crimes and punishments" not listed are in DIRECT VIOLATION to the Constitution they claim to uphold.)
If we had no security against torture but our declaration of rights, we might be tortured to-morrow; for it has been repeatedly infringed and disregarded. A bill of rights is only an acknowledgment of the "PREEXISTING CLAIM TO RIGHTS IN THE PEOPLE."
They BELONG TO US AS MUCH as if they had been inserted in the Constitution.
(APP Note: Which they eventually were)
But it is said that, if it be doubtful, the possibility of dispute ought to be precluded. Admitting it was proper for the Convention to have inserted a bill of rights, it is not proper here to propose it as the condition of our accession to the Union. Would you reject this government for its omission, dissolve the Union, and bring miseries on yourselves and posterity? I hope the gentleman does not oppose it on this ground solely. Is there another reason? He said that it is not only the general wish of this state, but all the states, to have a bill of rights. If it be so, where is the difficulty of having this done by way of subsequent amendment? We shall find the other states willing to accord with their own favorite wish.
The gentleman last up says that the power of legislation includes every thing. A general power of legislation does.
But this is a "special power" of legislation. Therefore, >>>"it DOES NOT contain that plenitude of power which he imagines".
They (The Federal government) "CANNOT LEGISLATE" in "ANY case" but those "PARTICULARLY ENUMERATED"...."
