Rand Paul To Hammer Hillary Clinton On Benghazi: 'It Was A Career-Ending Mistake'

Rand Paul says he plans on grilling Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over the attacks that killed four Americans at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, when she testifies at his first committee next week.
"I think she has to accept responsibility for Benghazi," Paul told Business Insider during his recent trip to Israel. "That's the problem with government — government is anonymous and so no one is accountable. The reason you want somebody to be accountable is that you don't want someone to make that decision again."
"She needs to be held accountable for it, and I think she needs to answer questions for it," he said.
Paul added that he plans on demanding Clinton explain what she knew about the deteriorating security situation in Libya and provide details about who denied requests for additional security personnel at the consulate in Benghazi.
"In government, there is usually an incentive to overspend when it comes to security," he said. "You're in charge of security in Benghazi and someone asks you for a 16-person detail — and the security people on the ground in Libya are asking you for it — it's impossible to say no. So how did someone possibly say no to that security? That's an incredible ineptness."
"It was an enormous mistake," he added. "It was a career-ending mistake, I think."

Ron was the messenger who awoke the nation. Rand is the one with the political will to win. When he runs, he will have my district's full support, and most of those around me. We have taken our party over and are putting up liberty candidates for state rep and other positions.

No one Hates Rand Paul, but...
He is NOT A LIBERTARIAN.

He is doing NOTHING about the Patriot Act, the NDAA Bill, the Drones over our Skies, the ACTS OF WAR against foreign nations in the form of Sanctions...
I linked an interview with Lew Rockwell pointing out the same FACTS - and it got down-voted, without anyone explaining WHY they pledge their support for Rand.
To me that means that people support him MOSTLY because he's Ron Paul's son. That's called Nepotism. It's part of what's wrong in politics.
Rand wants to run for president. (Ok....he wants power)
Rand is attacking hillary clinton. (Ok, every republican does that)
Rand appeases Israel with a visit. (More cow-towing to Israel? Like every politician)
Rand supported Romney, who would make ZERO CHANGES to the Federal Reserve.
AND he supported the NDAA Bill as it was written with the Indefinite detention section.
How does a Rand Paul supporter justify those points? Especially the one about the FED, the benchmark of RON PAUL'S CAREER????

He can't change all of these things on his own overnight. His father couldn't stop all of this horrible legislation after nearly 30 years, so how can you expect Rand to do it? He's taking a different approach, so let's see how it plays out before attacking him.

I know there is a lot of Rand haters but i think he has been doing a great job.
Why do you support Rand Paul?

And I'd like to see a long, thorough, explanation on the subject.
Ron Paul spent his career EARNING support by building a RECORD of liberty-supporting votes.
The same can't be said about Rand.
In fact, not only has he NOT built a liberty-loving Record, he's taken some steps that suggest the opposite, that he supports the removal of SOME freedoms in favor of the illusion of security:
Drones, NDAA, Mitt Romney Supporter, Israel Appeaser...
So - you're right - it WOULD BE CHILDISH to "hate" him just because he supported Romney - But that's not the case I'm making against Rand Paul - it's a bit more in-depth than that.
