Where's the impeachment then? Kucinich has bigger balls?

I mean really, it's one thing to talk. I can talk all day about 'King Obama', so what?

What is Rand DOING to STOP the 'King'?

This is why liberals tell us to STFU when the GOP says stuff like this but takes no action.

The House impeaches, the

The House impeaches, the Senate votes to convict. Look to the Big Govt Boehner if you want an impeachment. Had the GOP gained a majority in the Senate the past election we probably would be seeing a vote to impeach.

'Look to Bohner'? What? Rand could say, "I'm going to the house

for impeachment" or "If an impeachment comes to the senate I will vote yes."

You're just running cover for him saying all he can say is murky 'he's a King/Dictator' but without acting.

He's no different than Bohner and other RINOs like Glenn Beck otherwise.

And Rand Paul has a Prince

And Rand Paul has a Prince complex. Where does that leave us?

It leaves us wondering how

It leaves us wondering how you arrived at that conclusion

It's pretty evident. I love

It's pretty evident. I love Ron Paul as much as anybody. But this attitude of, "I'll vote for Ron Paul's dog" to save the republic is retarded.

Rand got elected to the Senate because he's Ron Paul's son. And he thinks he's entitled to be President because of who his father is. Warren Buffett had a libertarian father also. Why not write Warren Buffett in for President.

I'm not sure how entitlement, nepotism and adulation lead to a more free society. What has he done in the Senate that makes him fit to be President? (His TSA bills were watered down.)

He got elected to the Senate

He got elected to the Senate because of the Tea Party, and Jim Bunning endorsing him and giving him help in the primary battle vs McConnell's dog Trey Grayson.

Great Interview

I do have one critique. Rand could learn another tack to deflect the race issue being brought up relating to Obama.

I don't believe Rand is racist, but still got trapped in the black/white paradigm. Race is irrelivant to behavior, and rational people know it already.

When someone calls a behavior judgment racist, I always ask, "Isn’t that a racist comment? Are you saying that the behavior is because he is 'whatever'?"

People behave in many ways, NONE of which are decided by skin color.

Just open the box and see

Rand Paul shouldn't be the

Rand Paul shouldn't be the spokesperson for this. The absolute nonsense that comes out his mouth rivals Obama.

Rand Paul...I don't find him

Rand Paul...I don't find him to be a smart man. It is like Sarah Palin made it through medical school.

His comments on global warming show such a lack of knowledge of science. Just like every politician. The proper way to deny climate change is by referring to facts, or the article that cite the facts, not stupid conspiracy theories about how it is a plot to end capitalism or how climate change can't be real "since it snowed it Kentucky yesterday".

His comments on gay marriage are so anti-liberty that it is disgusting. Who gives a shit what you think about gays?

His budget proposal had a mathematical error. This is your big budget, the big thing that you wanted to present everyone on how you are going to solve the problems in Washington, yet you have a 45 billion dollar calculation error (that, of course, works in your favor)! That is almost inexcusable. Shore up on your math, son.

His attacks on Keagan were despicable. Keagan never said that government could make you eat your vegetables; she said the exact opposite. Yet Rand, perhaps because of his own ineptitude or moral bankruptcy, simply lied about what Keagan said.

It goes on an on. Obamacare doesn't force doctors to take care of patients without healthcare; EMTALA does that. And calling it slavery? Is it slavery when government forces lawyers to give everyone counsel (with a wage, of course)? It is it slavery when governments FORCE fire-fighters and policemen to do their jobs? Ridiculous!

Wont be long now....

I can hear the gallows hollow sound as the traitors drop and swing. Arrogance and disdain from our "so called elected representatives" make them the first to go. Its coming folks. Rejoice. Traitors to the constitution will all hear the whisper of, "traitor" before the 13 foot drop.

Good Job Rand

Good Job Rand

*Wisconsin Constitution* Article I, Section 25 "The people have the right to keep and bear arms for security, defense, hunting, recreation or any other law-abiding purpose"

I know I'll get down-voted for this

but I'm worried that Rand is at the very beginning of the same road. He's already planning to run for POTUS, before Obama's 2nd term begins? I hope I'm just paranoid.

Michael Nystrom's fists can punch through FUD.

I don't understand the

I don't understand the comment. If you are in the political game, you're always running for something. If Rand intends on running for president, he should run as early as possible by building coalitions, getting people ready to support him incrementally, appearing in front of the cameras as much as possible, and by raising important issues...

Running for president is no joke and as we've seen repeatedly, it's also very, very costly.

Indeed

There's nothing wrong with starting early if you think that improves your chances of winning. Clearly Rand does think it improves his chances, or he wouldn't have done it.

I tend to agree, seems like a good move to me. I tend to think that 9/10th of electoral politics is basically just name recognition, so the more a candidate can make himself known in advance, the better. Plus, he's been getting a lot of really good press recently, in the last several weeks. Right now he appears in the media as one of the best champions for conservatism in Congress and this seems like an ideal time to start warming up Republican voters to the idea of a President Paul.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

By comparison

Ron Paul never dealt in absolutes. He wouldn't announce years ahead that he's going to run. What if circumstances changed by filing time? Rand seems to have his heart set on it, and this shouldn't be a matter of the heart.

Michael Nystrom's fists can punch through FUD.

If he is going to have a

If he is going to have a chance, he needs to start early and try to get name recognition among the masses and donors. Even if the neocon donors arent thrilled about him... having big name recognition and knowing he will run will at least make some less likely to back other primary contenders in a big way early, because they dont want to end up backing the wrong horse.

I know some people have doubts about Rand, and he is not Ron....

but unless Rand gives me a reason to believe that

1) He will, if elected, continue the abolition of the 2nd amendment
2) He will, if elected, not do anything to curtain the surveillance society being put into place
3) He will, should be be elected, not use his position to bring an Austrian outlook to Treasury
4) He will, if elected, not sign a bill fully auditing the Fed

I will continue to support him. To me, those are the Big 4. Everything else is window dressing, and the typical coalition horse-trading politics that ANY Republic has to deal with.

Also keep in mind that the next Dem to get the nomination will almost certainly be either Hillary or that fascist Cuomo from NY. Rand is not Ron, but he sure is far closer to Ron than anyone else who has a snowballs chance of actually getting elected.

Time will tell if his

Time will tell if his decision is a wise one. With the reputation of the GOP in the gutter, his taking the initiative can only be a positive, in my opinion.

please don't degrade your opposition

it's like you're just throwing everything out there to see what sticks, even pre-knowledge of being voted down is an attack weapon now. lol.

You're right, and I apologize

Perhaps it was a feeble attempt to marginalize the voting system that I dislike so much.

BUMP for the natural right to bear arms.

Now we're talking.

Ah...and he (just like his father) dropped a TRUTH BOMB describing how gun control...actually has racist origins.

Good for you Rand!
