"Electability, sir, do you have any?"
The reporter called him on his BS--good for him! We need more of this (directed at the phony-baloney candidates, not more of FOX scum taunting Ron Paul), not less.
Sounds like Mitt has a cold. Perhaps he should call a doctor.
in SC means something different from the accepted meaning. In the south, if someone says you're ugly, it means you are acting ugly - not referring to your personal looks.

He could have attacked the AP journalist and deflected the argument.
"Isn't it true that Associated Press AP is completely ignoring an important candidate for the presidency? Is it right for your news orginaization to completely ignore and marginalize Ron Paul? Do you people think you are being fair to the election process and the American people?"
If Mitt had asked him these things, he would have had to go on the defense! Remember, Ron Paul even stuck up for Mitt Romney on the Jay Leno interview. That's what a class act and how honest RP is.
Was the journalist's boss scolding him, "Don't be argumentative with the candidates. Act professional." Media people get in trouble for saying the word "Lobbyist" on TV.
Who was the woman who said "I think you're rude and ugly"?
Is she part of the campaign?
What if a Ron Paul employee said to a female journalist like Helen Thomas "I think you're rude and ugly"?
We've got double standards in America today.
White males, especially, are subject to be called "ugly" by the female employees of a white male candidate for President of the USA.
That, plus Romney's track record on letting the Massachusetts court system rape the pocket books of divorced men...puts him out of the question for me. I would sooner have Obama.
But speaking of the Clinton/Obam race, it looks like, if Edwards does not drop out this weekend, it will be because he made a deal with the devil to be Hillary's VP. His part of the deal would be to take votes away from Obama because his stupid supporters' second choice is Obama.
I can only hope the Edwards supporters vote Obama in the upcoming primaries because an Edwards vote really is worse than a wasted vote considering that Obama would be great for them and they don't want Hillary.
Here is a great video on why you should not vote for Hillary:

The reporter called him a liar. I'm not saying he isn't, but I'm not saying what he said was a lie either. The reporter was trying to make his career and picked the wrong moment.
Romney just tried to set him straight as far as I know (if the guy really is running Romney's campaign, I take every word back). Romney stepped over the line about 1/2 an inch by going up to him afterwards because he could have let it go at that point and he had nothing new to say. The press secy. just saw his moment to be a BIG MAN and continued over the line. At least Romney had the bruised ego excuse.
There will be better moments to trash Romney. When you pick "no big deals" to distribute far and wide, you just make some people see him as a victim who overcame the trial. You also make people like me write huge long posts the point of which is only "no big deal", but then I'll be called a Romney defender by the Troll Patrol for not taking the opportunity to name call.

It is so very good to see these true jerks losing their cool in front of the camera, I have an idea it happens all the time behind the scenes.
Distribute, Distribute, Distribute. And then to hear Romney say, "Listen to my words." Basically saying, "I am lying, just not with the words I'm using." CAUGHT!
I commend Glen. We need him on Ron Paul so he can "call him out on his consistencies."
"Mr. Paul thats not true, that's not true, every vote you've taken, and every bit of legislation you've introduced is completely in line with the constitution and you HAVEN'T wavered one bit. And all your campaign funding has come from grassroots America. So how can you say you bow down to big money lobbyists and pass legislation to benefit them?!?!"

I don't think the reporter was argumentative.
He pointed out to Romney some facts. Romney was the one who lost his cool.
