Video: Rand Paul on Hannity Show Vows To Torpedo Obama Executive Orders

New legislation would nullify gun control dictates

Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com | January 17, 2013

Appearing on Fox News last night in the aftermath of President Obama’s gun control speech, Senator Rand Paul vowed to introduce legislation next week that would torpedo Obama’s attempt to eviscerate the second amendment via a raft of executive orders.

Promising to follow the example of the founders in blocking the President from having the ability to legislate, the Kentucky Senator said he would introduce a bill next week that would “nullify anything the president does that smacks of legislation.

And there are several of the executive orders that appear as if he’s writing new law. That cannot happen,” added Paul, noting that the courts struck down an attempt by Bill Clinton to do the same thing.

Man..I always thought deep in

Man..I always thought deep in my heart that our Constitution would easily save us from what has gone on in other countries..but, I see it getting attacked from the rear by this President, Public School system, and evildoers. May it survive!

Only about 1,078 days to go

Only about 1,078 days to go until President Paul takes over. Be here before you know it....

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

It's probably just me,

but does anyone ever think of Lyle Lovett when looking at Rand? I don't know, maybe it's the haircut.

Rand is a very handsome man.

Rand is a very handsome man. Lyle Lovett married a hot girl, but that does not make him handsome. His hair does not matter, what he said in this interview does.

"In this bill we will nullify anything the president does that smacks of legislation."

Rand even mentioned how Obama is a lot like FDR...

Very proud of Rand Paul for being the first elected leader to actually do something about what's going on.

Excellent interview. Sean Hannity is now on our side, and I welcome him into our very large tent called Liberty.

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

He is better looking than Lyle,

but the similarity did strike me. And you're right, it's what comes out of their mouths that matter. I never alluded to anything else.

As for Sean Hannity, just like Glen Beck calling himself "Libertarian", they're going to have to prove themselves a lot more than by just bashing Obama. Heck, anyone can do that.

Sean's twinkling his toes in

Sean's twinkling his toes in the Liberty pool...and all of his friends at Fox better jump in, quick before Obama goes Hugo Chavez on the, "free media."

Never be afraid to ask simple questions.

Yes, but is it authentic twinkling?

We even have Reince Preibus(?) jumping on the bandwagon. Their GOP is a sinking ship & they're just now realizing it. The question is; Have they started to wake up, or are they just trying to save their careers?

Out of all the msm fluff out there, I at least like Neil Cavuto for the respect he showed Dr. Paul throughout the campaign and afterwards. As far as I know, he was one of the few that didn't mock him and sincerely respected him, as the sincerity of respect shows during an interview. Can't say the same about many others. Rachel Maddow was another I remember that showed respect, regardless of agenda. Lastly, I will always be grateful to Lawrence O'Donnell for this:

and Jack Cafferty for this:

There were a couple of others that had good things to say about him; Joe Scarborough comes to mind.

I will always welcome people with open arms, but only if their hearts are true, and don't bring hidden personal agendas.

Almost certainly not, but...

...it tells me that we are gaining influence, and therefore the Republican party (and their media outlet Fox News) has no choice but to start treating us with some respect. Is Hannity good? No. Is it good that Hannity is treating us and our issues with more respect? Yes. We're so used to being the downtrodden underdogs, maybe we're having trouble recognizing that this is what winning looks like.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

Oh I know we're winning.

But it's one thing to "command" the respect of msm outlets, because of "fear" that without the Liberty faction, the GOP (as well as their viewership) is lost. And it's completely something else to blindly believe that some of these MSM puppets have suddenly seen the light, woken up, and have come on over to the Libertarian side. For the most part, all they're doing is jumping on the liberty bandwagon because both the GOP and the MSM ratings are sinking. They had bet everything on Romney, and NOW it hit them and they realize that they NEED the growing libertarians/NEW Republicans as opposed to the old/dying GOP.

So yes, while I recognize that we are winning, I won't be turning a blind eye and my back to the sell-out prestitutes. As I said before, they've got a lot of proving to do. Time will tell if they eventually walk the talk.

I don't live in Kentucky but

Rand is my representative. I've adopted him because the nazi state I live in has no such liberty minded person. OH how at ease we would all be if we had a majority of liberty minded individuals in our two branches of congress!

Rand is on fire and he seems to be attacking at all fronts. Keep going Rand! Great Job!

Already

this is also an article

By Paul Joseph Watson for infowars. It also has the video of Rand on Hanity. But this is a double whammy post unlike the one you refer to.

Man..

Rand continues to impress me. If he keeps this up, Ill be volunteering for him in 16.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

What if Obama were liberty minded?

He would "have recited the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights and the Constitution, and recommitted his administration to following the the Constitution and the rule of law." - Findings and Forecasts 1/16/13

Instead, we have a president bent on weakening our Constitution and the bill of rights. I didn't think he was a capitalist but he is in his own wicked way. As Obama feels doctors should not be taking advantage of those who are sick or construction workers should not be able to charge in times of hurricanes he comes in and capitalizes on the people going through great distress and misery. He takes this Newtown calamity, holds illegal "task force" meetings out of ear shot of the public. He declares the rights of others have been violated by their suffering through these shootings. I found it strange he mentions that their "right to assemble freely" was violated. So, wicked logic now makes the Obama claim our right to bear arms is to be diminished and eventually eliminated. He has a vision of this nation being taken over by arbitrary kingship decrees.

Deny the the Declaration of Independence, refuse the Constitution and its purpose or desire not to protect our Bill of Rights? Then you are the problem in America struggle to retain it's freedoms.

Good article.

Have a blessed day.
