I think this is a pretty good point by point debunking of the Sandy Hook conspiracy video. It assembles most of the "smoking gun" evidence and offers pretty solid explanations. Unless stronger evidence comes out I'm going to put Sandy Hook into the "Government takes advantage of tragedy to push an agenda" file. Again, Sandy Hook does not appear to be a false flag operation.

"I dont see enough evidence to think Sandy Hook was a false flag operation. This is more of a tragic event turned into political opportunity than it is a staged event. Was there investigative bungling and the sensationalist media reporting unverified stories? Yes. Was there confusion and were facts lost and gained in that confusion? Yes. Are there people, even witnesses, looking for their 30 seconds in the spotlight? Yes. Are there individuals and institutions using and shaping this event for their own political agendas? Yes, and we must keep a very watchful eye on those institutions to keep them from twisting the facts of this event. Sadly, everything I mentioned above can, when taken out of context, make one think manipulation is afoot.
Most chaotic events can come across that way. In examining the event, I don't see government hands at work mainly because they would have covered their tracks better. We can't expect them to pull off ...elaborately planned hoaxes while at the same time leaving behind so many easy "smoking guns" for us to find. It took years for independent investigators to uncover JFK. It took years for us to begin scratching out the truth about 9/11. Those of us who study real history, not state sanctioned history, can very easily become just as close minded and biased for conspiracy as those who stand in our way and refuse to accept the truth about our government and the people running it.
It's very easy to fall into that trap, especially when knowing how much of our history and world events are not what they appear to be. So please, do not immediately jump up and yell "Fire!" just because someone makes a YouTube video. Research, research, research. You only hurt our cause by promoting false conspiracies and crackpot agendas. Much like the Birther conspiracy, I am starting to think that a lot of the so called "evidence" of conspiracy coming out about Sandy Hook is designed and fabricated to make us "conspiracy theorists," us truth seekers, look foolish. Why? So that when good people argue against the destruction of our Second Amendment they can easily be painted with the "crackpot" brush."

..should be asked and considered. I don't know if this was in any way linked to the gun control debate. I do have A question... and it may not mean anything. I just find it curious. Whenever there are pictures or videos of vehicles in news reports of any type, the license plates are always blurred. Why not in the Newtown, Connecticut coverage of this tragic event?

I did notice the footage I saw of the police removing the rifle from the truck happened at night, yet the shooting happened in the am... Did it take that long to locate the car and recover the rifle or is this reused footage from a different event? Many, many questions.

I don't have a Facebook... Can someone who does tell me (IF this is Ventura's FB) did he address the morning drill 20 minutes away from Newtown? I tend to believe the shooting did happen but I still think the situation was, at the very least, managed.

Ive noticed that false flags don't have to be convincing. Most of the sheep out there don't require proof to believe what they are told. They believe it because it was on the TV.
The government doesn't have to care what the "crazy conspiracy theorists" think, because they've branded anyone who questions the government so effectivly, that the sheep are NEVER going to listen to them.
Logically... if those who actually like to get evidence are a non-factor to public perception, and the sheep are incapable of criticle thinking... then why on earth would a government need to avoid inconsistancies or provide evidence? They don't. All they have to do is present a narritive, and attack anyone who questions as a conpiracy nut. The sheep will swollow it lock, stock and barrel. Reality check. People "DO" come forward. In droves. There are over 300 first responder police and firemen who dispute the official 911 story and want an independant investigation done. However they are all labeled as "conspiracy nuts" and ignored by the sheep. 300 cops and firefighters, dismissed because the NEWS says they are conpiracy theorists. Consider the incredable power of the mass media.

While I care whether conspiracies were involved at Sandy Hook, "Dark Knight Rises" and other shootings, I do not consider these shootings to be pertinent to the "gun control" debate. Tyrannical governments kill multitudes of people EVERY DAY. The purpose of the "Second Amendment" is to protect us from those tyrannical governments.
I have said this before and I will say it again. I do not have to "win you over; I do not have to even reason with you. If you or anyone else tries to disarm me, I will stop you, without hesitation or remorse. For my right of self-defense is not yours to take.

Tactical officers run down and arrested , then let go, reportedely from another state.... WHAT? Tell me one other account cops are running away from cops, it doesn't happen. He would have shown his credentials first. This is the real killer hidden in plain sight.
Every tactical officer I've read interviewed states that it would have been impossible for a lightweight like lanza to accomplish anything close to the purported events. 150 lbs of guns and another 100 of ammo. Not possible.

The more comments I read here, the more I am starting to think mental health checks for gun ownership isn't such a bad idea.

Why, because there are more questions than answers? I think the people, especially the people of Newtown, CT, have a right to know all the details to this incident and deserve some closure. If there were multiple shooters, then the people have a right to know. It's law enforcements' fault for leading these people on. They didn't address the man arrested in the woods. They even said there were no other arrests in the case, when even the parents and kids witnessed a man in hand cuffs. They're not telling the truth about something. Maybe they're even trying to cover-up their incompetence and/or the districts' incompetence, who knows; but they're not telling the people the truth. Why won't they answer any of these questions? Sandy Hook had just had a new security system in place, with what was supposed to be bullet-proof glass. How did the shooter gain access to the school? There are still too many unanswered questions. It's rather quick to be labeling people quacks for simply asking legitimate questions. The people deserve to know the failures of this incident, so as to know what should be corrected to prevent any future incidents.

Unfortunately, since the end of the election, the site has mostly been taken over by crazyasses who jump on every absurd conspiracy bandwagon they can get their hands on. There are lots of us. I don't understand how those who claim conspiracy fail to even entertain the facts. Such as:
The old guy telling stories about kids - When has there NOT been a camera whore at a major news event telling stories to get on TV.
The Guy in the woods - I admit I found it suspicious, but they did not report an arrests because this guy was not arrested, the identified him as a parent. Chaos is inherent at these types of things.
The parents interviews - I have experienced the immense grief of losing my brother suddenly. I witnessed the reactions of my siblings and my parents and none of us reacted quite the same way. For instances my mother LAUGHED while telling a story about him to our pastor only seconds after uncontrollable crying. I didn't shed a tear until 2 weeks after the funeral--it took that long to realize he wasn't coming back. Have a heart people. If you haven't been there, then you don't know what it's like.
The Fake families - Nothing I have seen has been convincing in the least. One set of photos compared a bald guy to a guy with a full head of hair as if they were the same. In college there was this kid who looked nearly identical to my friend and everyone was always surprised when they ran into the other one. Some people look the same, there are a lot of people on the planet. Besides, how do you get an entire town to not notice people who've never been there before.
Everything in terms of conspiratorial evidence has been grasping at straws. It feels as if many of you decided it was a conspiracy long before you saw any evidence and you are making it fit to your perceptions instead of thinking critically. I've watched it, I've examined it, I gave it serious though, and it doesn't hold water. Move on, admit that you may be wrong, stop accusing the world of being in on the conspiracy against you. We all agree on liberty, so let's run with that.

This is where people are jumping to conclusions. Being a parent of a child at the school, and being a police officer from a neighboring town are not mutually exclusive.
If you were a cop from a nearby town and heard that your kids were on lockdown at their school, would you go there? And if you're a tactical officer, might you try to intercept the bad guy?
This may not be the case, but it's certainly a possibility just as much as any other theory. To dismiss the possibility without further evidence would be premature. The conspiracy theorists give no credit to other possibilities with no evidence to dismiss them.
Possible, maybe not plausible
I would have a hard time believing an off duty tactical squad officer from out of town got the call, dressed in his gear, grabbed his gun and made it to the school before the Newtown police did... I also doubt a police officer (off duty or not) would be running from fellow officers of the law.
Again, I'm not subscribing to any theory only asking questions regarding the official story. In light of the gun control debate I would love to have some answers before my second amendment rights are further infringed. Is that so much to ask?

Well they are not going to give you answers before your rights are taken away. So our focus should be on protecting our rights. Manny people have predetermined that this event was planned and are only seeking to validate themselves instead of being objective. Yes, everyone should keep an open mind, but don't invest yourself in being right, just in finding the truth AND preventing the erosion of your rights.

And none of these inconsistencies, even if they were true, would suggest a "false flag" by the federal government. Even if there were other individuals, it doesn't in any way suggest the government was behind the shooting.
