Seattle Restaurant Refuses to Serve TSA Workers

A restaurant in Seattle has made a powerful statement by refusing to serve TSA agents until the invasive pat downs stop.

Excellent, and I hope only the beginning of a growing pushback against these goons...

great idea!

Just remeber to ask the TSA agent who violates you on the way there to PLEASE change his nasty gloves 1st.

I have often thought that if I served the public I would tell...

...public employees, at least those with name tags or uniforms, to get the hell out of my place of business.

Lets say I own a great restaurant... Health inspectors can inspect but they will not be served or waited on.

Lets say I own a dry cleaner... I would say that we don't do police uniforms (and only the uniforms of military who were drafted against their will, maybe).

It is time the private sector stood up and says no more.

But this is where corporate power rules and partners with the government to enslave us by way of corporate fascism where local managers have no more authority to make policy than those who sweep the floor.

wouldn't you want a search warrant

before letting a health inspector come in?

Would we call that

The answer to Crony Capitalism?

Even still, bad service will always be an option.
You can ignore them till they just go away.[silent protest] How much time do these rats have for lunch?
Suggest that they may not like spit in their food...[not silent] I'm sure We the People have very creative minds!

The Continental Association - The People boycotted the red coats

The Continental Association was a document signed by the Continental Congress recommending actions and local committees of Safety, Correspondence, Observation, etc. The local committees took it upon themselves to help enforce the ideals of "The Association" within their community.

They did the following:
- Forced resignations
- Requested public apology for misconduct
- Reinstated people who changed their ways into the community
- Boycotted government or corporations supported by government
- Purchased local and colonial goods

In 18 months trade with England went from 3 million pounds sterling to less than 300,000 pounds sterling. What followed was the signing of the Declaration, almost to the day, 18 months later.

Building a strategic idea with tactical applications, locally...as local as the neighborhood, may serve us better than any national campaign can do ever again!

That's a great point, one

That's a great point, one that warrants its own post imo.

It's all about local nullification of distant tyranny.

This is awwweesome, but...

As far as it being a sustainable tactic - If I'm a TSA worker, I just don't where the stripes. Are they going to ask all patrons to prove their occupation?

Well, they know who they are.

Well, they know who they are. They can refuse anyone service so long as it is not because of race, gender, religion, or national origin. TSA doesn't fit into any one of those. If they know who they are and they refuse them because of what they do they are well within their rights to refuse them service.

go to the airport, take pictures

put their mug shots up at the entrance with a red line through it.

race, gender, bullcrap

In a truly free society, none of the politically correct exceptions you mentioned should have relevance.

EVERY business owner has the ABSOLUTE constitutional right to do business with OR WITHOUT whomever they so choose.

I agree. I'm simply stating

I agree. I'm simply stating the law as it is now.

He's not saying it's illegal.

He's saying there's no way of judging whether someone works for the TSA or not so how do they know who to kick out? We don't have a list of TSA workers' pictures or names...there's no possible way of doing it.

I asked myself the same question when I read this and the conclusion I came to was that it doesn't matter whether or not TSA people eat there.

Because it's the principle of the thing. This restaurant had the guts to publicly come out against the TSA.

They go in there every day.

They go in there every day. They are right by the airport. They know who works for the TSA. Therefore they refuse them service. It's not all that difficult. They all work and live near each other. It's not like they are strangers.

Uh yeah, I'm not sure what

Uh yeah, I'm not sure what you mean. We all know that was the point.

You belong to a nazi

You belong to a nazi organisation, therefore you are refused service. Not sure what's wrong with that. They can find a new line of work. They really aren't denying them service on a personal basis they are denying them service based on who they work for. I'm sure of the TSA was disbanded and they came in as a normal person they's get service just as anyone else. They are making a statement, and a very god statement. The TSA, DHS should both be disbanded. Along with several others.

No sympathy!

The last time I heard that EXCUSE about just following orders it was spoken in German, screw these traitors, if they can't find a way to support themselves or families as the story goes without violating mine or anybody else Constitutionally protected God given rights they are criminals pure and simple. Just remember TSA scum if you read this, tyranny comes at a price, be glad that it is only being hated and shunned! Waaah! Waaaah! Get a real job, you are pathetic!

Molon Labe

Nice try

"but they have families to feed" yeah well we all do but we all don't compromise what is right to do it. They have their own free will and can stand up for what is right if they wanted to.

ecorob's picture

i can't believe she actually said...

They are just following orders!

Well, here is another order:

Get the hell out of my restaurant!

I wish I lived close to Seattle...I would drive 2 hours to stand in line to eat there!

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...
Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!
9/11 Truth.

Thumbs up for the Police

Police had to escort them out, thus obeying the order. :)

The new Racism is if you hate the govenment and its

three letter agencies. The G card. Nice to see others pushing back. Wish the sold out slug minions would wake up and quit taking TSA jobs.

Oh well I am only responsible for myself and I would never ever ever ever ever consent to go through any NAZI check point. I am a free man and I do not consent to thugs patting me down or requiring my papers.

"Why would you refuse money?"

...because I don't like to tarnish my soul lady.

Another comment:

"Oh look... someone else is asserting their rights! Let's DEMONIZE IT!"

Is there a new sheriff in town?

maybe the restaurant should hang a sign no trespassing for TSA workers will be shot on site if they enter.
Maybe that might clear things up.
