Since we can't realistically stop funding them (since our money is stolen from us) we should at least be able to opt out of their "benefits and services" and provide for our own protection. I feel LESS safe when there are police around.

I didn't realize that was important for people to be able to do that. I guess some people are more worthy of self defense than others.

So, doesn't this render the original vote null and void. Since some voters could have voted for it BECAUSE the police weren't exempted?

Okay, so pretending that there is some reasonable rationale behind the whole thing...then why on earth should retired law enforcement be exempted? They aren't required to carry for their job and are part of regular citizens. That just goes to show.

The police shouldn't be exempt but that's my opinion. According to a fox news article I posted about, they are working on exempting RETIRED police as well. Bullspit, am I right?

If it is a felony or serious misdemeanor then even a cop that violates the law should be immediately fired and prosecuted.

Citizens who see a felony or serious misdemeanor in the act of being committed should have the right to use deadly force to stop said crime.
