Ronald Reagan so admired Coolidge that there was a portrait of Silent Cal in the Oval Office during the Reagan years. This is a very good lecture, one that portrays a world of striking similarities between then and now.

Harding's admin was a cesspool of political corruption. Have always admired Coolidge, however he was Skull & Bones :(

Coolidge was a minimalist executive. I respect that a lot more than guys who have to justify their jobs by legislating every little thing.
