US Scientists Find That Chemotherapy Boosts Cancer Growth

"While damaging healthy cells, chemotherapy also triggers them to secrete a protein that sustains tumour growth and resistance to further treatment."

Sure, it damages healthy cells but it is REALLY good for Pharma bank accounts, so do not expect any paradigm shift in cancer treatment to result from this finding. Want to "live long and prosper?" Stay out of doctor's offices. They are usually good hearted people who have had their brain taken over by Pharma.

It forever amazes me when science proves the obvious.

Toxins cause harm.

My study of the obvious sustains me.

Stillwater has a thread - I'll try to find it

Pick two or three alternatives for HER to look into, and see which one resonates with her. The MOST IMPORTANT THING is to empower her to control her CURE.
If it were me, I would have her check on Burzynski, Gerson, and IV vitamin C first. If she does not like any of those options, then give her the whole list that stillwater created. I fear presenting the whole list first might overwhelm someone facing some very serious decisions.
Also, IMMEDIATELY see if she will do an alkalizing detox, before she does anything else. She may be able to flush enough toxins to rid herself of the lumps.
IT MAY BE NOTHING.
My mother had 2 bouts of breast cancer, so I started doing my self-exams when I was in my early 30's, and I found a lump. I had a mammogram that showed nothing, but they told me to come back in a year. By then, it was getting painful - probably from me checking it too much. Still nothing on the mammogram, but come back next year. The next year, after another negative mammogram, a wise nurse pulled me aside "There is no need to expose yourself to this risk factor, stop getting them until you are at least 40."
I appreciated it, but still had a lump, and it worried me. One day my husband said "Didn't you tell me a dog bit your boob when you were a kid?"
Indeed, I had been bitten by a dog, and the scar has moved slightly but it is pretty much where the lump is. Scar tissue.
It may be something, too. My mother refused the radiation the first time. She refused the chemo both times. She lived 30+ years after her first diagnosis, mostly due to refusing treatment and a love of blueberries.
Good luck, keep us posted.

Edit: Here's the thread. Kudos to MN and the search engine here!

Big Time!!!

When Fascism goes to sleep, it checks under the bed for Ron Paul!

The sources are good, but old

The article is based on other articles, so the information is not from primary sources. However, if you follow the articles backward, you'll find that the original sources are articles based on the actual studies...and those articles were written in 2008. Five years ago.

I don't see any newer scientific references.

Let me see. What was I doing 5 years ago?

I forgot. Sorry.

And "old" news is of no value?

I often get replies like this. There is WHOLE LOT of "old news" on the internet that none of us have seen yet, or maybe just a few. If this was old and there was newer, more pertinent facts I could understand why people have a problem with it. Guess what, "The Creature From Jekyll Island" is an old book. I still recommend it.

Thanks for reminding me.

I had forgotten.
