When Raw Milk Products are Illegal, Are You Above the Corrupt Law?

- Tisha Casida

DISCLAIMER: YOU MUST (MUST) PURCHASE A SHARE OF A COW OR GOAT TO CONSUME RAW MILK OR RAW MILK PRODUCTS IN COLORADO LEGALLY.

I am on the hunt for producers who create and "distribute" (not SELL) products made from raw milk – raw milk cheese, raw milk butter, raw milk yogurt, etc. in Colorado. I had put out an email to the list of people in our That’s Natural! database that have raw milk shares available (you see, in Colorado it is illegal to sell raw milk, so you have to purchase a share of a cow so in fact you are entitled to a part of that cow’s production) – asking this question. To my surprise, I got a couple of hostile emails warning me about what I am doing, and that it is “illegal” to sell raw milk products in Colorado.

First of all, there can be no law against my right to consume raw milk or products made from raw milk. If that is a choice I am making – no government, no bureaucrat, and no use of force (e.g. the police) can stop me. Just like it is my right to feed my children foods that are full of nutrients versus the toxic substances you purchase in the middle aisles of the grocery store, it is my right to consume raw milk. My grandmother drank raw milk – without the heavy hand of force telling her it was dangerous and “illegal”. My right – my responsibility – my raw milk and raw milk products are something that I will not give up. And it is pathetic that we are having this conversation in the first place. But, enough producers have been threatened with the use of force from local health agencies, to now threaten me - the consumer. Isn't it funny how that works?

I understand that you have to get your spanking and please the administrative and bureaucratic forces by not saying that you are buying and drinking raw milk by purchasing a part of the cow or goat – fine. But it is my natural right to consume those products, and at the end of the day, I would rather die clutching my mason jar of raw milk than having some government official tell me I can’t drink it. They can go to hell, or perhaps better yet, soak in a raw milk bath to ease their tension. Welcome to Food Freedom – if you want to consume it and are willing to take the risk (that humans have taken for thousands of years successfully) – pick up your glass of raw milk and drink it. That’s your right.

Void Ab Initio

Not just voidable, but void. A nullity, he said, ... as if legal principles mattered.

Do the right thing.

:-)

Since the question asks what's above, abide the Higher Law.

I can legally smoke pot and buy raw milk

I'm in Washington state. I can go to the store and buy raw milk, and I can legally smoke pot. Soon I will be able to go to the store and buy pot.

And do you know what? The sky has not fallen. Every argument and scare tactic that governments use to control those things have not happened.

Big businesses that profit from those regulations are the ones who profit, not the "public safety" BS they shove down the throats of the gullible and complacent citizens.

I was raised on raw milk

along with my brothers and sisters. We always thought that was the best milk to have.

Now they say raw milk is loaded with all kinds of bacteria that is going to make you sick or kill you. This is nothing more than big Agribusiness trying to keep control of the food supply. The less you buy from the grocery store the less their profits.

Monsanto developed the hormone Posilac for dairy cows to give more milk. The problem the cow only lives about 5 years after starting the injections. Life expectancy of dairy cows used to be 20 years. Monsanto never did any studies on Posilac for human risk, the same as GMO corn. They just make up some bogus lab experiments and the FDA, and EPA doesn't even check.

So now they have made the American population their laboratory, the problem a lot of the health problems won't show up for 20 to 30 years after eating the GMO food or Posilac milk.

I would prefer getting raw milk from an organic farmer before buying the crap they call milk from the grocery store.

Gold standard: because man can not be trusted to control his greed

I buy raw milk every week

although it isn't legal to sell here. I dip the cream out of the top and separate it, and make ice cream with my donvier ice cream maker. Rasperries and cocoa powder makes delicious ice cream! What a treat!

How do you purchase a share of a cow??

Does anyone know where I can get raw milk in central Iowa? I have never tried it, but I want to.

we have farmers markets

here, they advertise all kinds of products
like that,we have a share in goats milk
how it works with milk, the animals supply
about the same amount of milk, the owners
get enough people signed up to buy it once a week
that way there is no left over(but it is expensive per gallon
a gallon a week for a month is $32

If we deny truth before your very eyes, then the rest of what we have to say,is of little consequence

So, a gallon of raw milk is

So, a gallon of raw milk is $32, an astronomical price? If so, what's a week or month concerning $32 a gallon about?

no lol

$8 a gallon per week = $32 a month
when you sign up,it is by the month
we here pay it monthly, instead of
by the week

Ahhh. OK. lol. $8 is better

Ahhh. OK. lol. $8 is better than it is here, in California. Skim milk from the company I get mine from is $4.35 for a half gallon and $8.75 a half gallon of whole milk, same company! Is your $8 gallon whole milk? If so, I'm jealous! lol

I started drinking raw

last May and I will never go back. There is no comparison. Here in Massachusetts you have to drive to the farm to get it, no store sales allowed. That drives(literally) the cost way up. Of course the majority here are still brainwashed into believing the Democratic party has the best interests of "the people" and not the corporations.
