Truth Or Denial In The Age Of Information Overload

A lot of people are getting more frustrated than ever with either trying to wake people up, or just witnessing the apparent absolute ignorance of people not being able to notice what’s really going on around them. There are many reasons for this, and it’s an age old problem.

In today’s world, it appears it’s because things are crystallizing so fast and the flow of changing information coming at people is so massive it can barely be processed anymore by the lower density mind. True to some extent.

Truth is treason in the empire of lies

A man once said to me, "don't come to me with a problem unless you've got an answer". So I ask, what is Gillian's answer? I think it is detachment.

One thing I really liked about Ron Paul is he stayed on message and didn't get upset if people berated him or ignored him, he is humble in knowing he is right. However, he wasn't always so calm. I've seen video clips of RP i the 80s and he would beat these people with common sense and it didn't get him anywhere.

Those like you and I who are in the know are a minority. We have to work harder. I also believe we have to be spiritually fit to remain sane through all of this. Gillian talks about "detachment", which is one of the most important precepts of the Buddhist philosophy. According to wikipedia, detachment "is a state in which a person overcomes his or her attachment to desire for things, people or concepts of the world and thus attains a heightened perspective."

To me, detachment doesn't mean I don't try. And it certainly doesn't mean i don't have a backbone. It just means I accept others for who they are and what they believe even if it based on ignorance. I guess that's why it's a rEVOLution, because we have to love them until they awaken. In the meantime, I try to learn everything I can to help solidify my philosophy and to know some truth in this empire of lies.

The founders would be ashamed at us for what we are putting up with.

"detachment", is a slippery slope.

it is not easy to achieve or maintain. it would seem abundantly clear to me that the very problem is that so many people are so into "detachment", that they are effectively zombies.
A man once said, "it is not those who oppose you that are your enemy, it is the ones sitting on the fence"

it took me a long time to understand and come up with the same answer as you have, this war we are fighting is not against the government, it is against ignorance.
peace.

Mark 4:11-12

"He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables 12 so that,‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!’"
