The bigger problem

The bigger problem isn't confiscation per se, but rather doctors and other agencies 'claiming' individuals are not fit. Not to mention 'liability' insurance, federal registries, fingerprinting, etc.

The war on 2ndA has only just begun.

"What if the American people learn the truth" - Ron Paul

We are the future!, yes they are pushing hard, but what I see happening is the people building a system out of an old system, scared of what they teach your kids, home school, don't like tsa, don't travel, gun laws?, do juror duty and nullify, they just banned spy drones in florida, its a damn good start!, live free

I do believe

he debunked every known anti-gun scenario, didn't he? That was a fantastic read, and I shared it on Twitter...

Excellent Post

Quite an article. Printing on the original is easier to read. Got to distribute this.

Nothing he wrote deters me

Nothing he wrote deters me from my position that the very BEST choice is to have the parents of the children in the school be CCW trained,(those who are willing to take on the protection of their children and other people's children) and either allow them to guard the schools voluntarily or for little pay. Arming the teachers is fine also. They have the right to protect themselves in their workplace. But Teachers are there to teach. Parents are parents to protect and guide their children. For teachers it is a job. For parents it is a solemn responsibility. Parents who are dependent on the state to protect their children are not fulfilling the real world responsibilities they accept when they become parents. This would go a long way in bringing parents back into the mix of education in a time when parents are being excluded from any and all authority in their own children. Put those who have the most skin in the game at the point of the most responsibility for their own kids and the rest. I don't know about you but I would hate to face a retired US Navy Seal protecting his children. That would be suicide.

Good find..

Where in the article...

Where in the article does the author "destroy the myth of invincible SWAT teams?"

0% Chance

There has not been one instance in modern history of a mass-shooter defeating a SWAT team. Not one.

The reality

If a weekend gun hobbyist aspires to hunker down and take on professionally trained law enforcement who will have superior firepower and numbers, thousands of hours of training, and a desirous lust for the thrill of a firefight, that hobbyist will fail 100 out of 100 times. I found nothing in this article that suggests otherwise.

Stated better here

"Liberty's too precious a thing to be buried in books...Men should hold it up in front of them every single day of their lives and say: 'I'm free to think and to speak. My ancestors couldn't. I can. And my children will."

-Jimmy Stewart

Rarely has the issue been

Rarely has the issue been boiled down so accurately, succintly, and with as much clarity in one quick read.

This one needs to travel around the world many many times.

Each time a politician or the media tries to defame gun owners the lines at gun stores grow, especially with new owners.

The gun grabbers have a massive credibility problem, and this article explains it.

May God Bless and keep the Internet.

I think most of us here are

probably aware of most of the arguments made in this article, but the author and the way it's so well written really give it some weight. I love pieces like this that give you mental and verbal (and print) ammunition (no pun intended) against debate opponents. Great article. Thanks!

Everyone who wants to understand gun contro laws

Should read this article.
