The average number of people killed in a mass shooting when stopped by a civilian is 2.33

I couldn't find one incident that involved less than 6 dead.

Then of course, there's the incident from New York a few months ago where the cops wounded 9 bystanders trying to shoot 1 guy that wasn't planning on a mass shooting.

Narrow sample. Only what could be classified as mass terror type situation.

No disgruntled husbands shooting wives in their lovers beds. No kill my family and myself scenarios. No shooting up divorce court. No cops hitting everything but the barn door.
