Kindergartner's Psych Evaluation: The New Norm Under Obama's "Mental Health Parity?"

It begins! ABC News has a story up about a 5 year old girl who was suspended from her class for 10 days and ordered to have a psychological evaluation because she brought a Hello Kitty Bubble Gun to school and wanted to have her and a friend shoot each other with bubbles. The school says it was a “Terrorist Threat.” Let me type that again. Suspended for 10 days and ordered to have a psych evaluation…for paying with a toy the way it was intended to be played with. Psychological. Evaluation. Terrorist threat.

It would be easy enough to write about the absurdity of America and the culture of fear we now live in, where this could somehow be considered a threat. The fact that a teacher reported this, then an administrator in the Mount Carmel School District were mentally incompetent enough to order a suspension and for a little girl to be psychologically evaluated merits its own lengthy post. However in light of Obama’s recent Executive Orders (EOs) this story takes on added weight.

As I wrote previously, Obama’s 23 Executive Orders held within them a very pertinent theme: the hijacking of the mental health industry through Obamacare, with Doctors turning into stoolies and the government now in control of what the definition of sanity is. I’m not saying that this story is an immediate example of these EOs being put into place, but it certainly is an indicator of where the wind is blowing.

Get some backbone parents...

if that was my son and he was required to get a psych evaluation and was suspended for 10 days, it'd be the end of public school for him. The diagnosis itself tells how broken and insane this Nation has become - I would never comply with this ridiculous sentence...the school and the orders they follow blindly could go straight to hell!

Father - Husband - Son - Spirit - Consciousness

At some point

I'm going to stop feeling sorry for people who have bad things happen to their kids at public schools.

The more I think about it the more I realize how right Ron Paul is to focus on homeschooling. Get our kids out of these damn prisons!

Write Cuomo! Ban these weapons in NY!

I demand these terrorist weapon manufacturers be held accountable!

Most of those who think so actually don't and most of those who think sew actually rip.

I feel safer already!

public educator's stance on guns

Don't talk about guns, don't think about guns, do think of talking about guns

Actually, she did not even bring it to school

she simply talked about having it...

I'd rather have a bottle in front o' me than a frontal lobotomy

Didn't think they'd start with the 5 year olds.
