Utah Sheriffs Willing to Die to Protect Traditional Constitutional Interpretation
”But, make no mistake, as the duly-elected sheriffs of our respective counties, we will enforce the rights guaranteed to our citizens by the Constitution. No federal official will be permitted to descend upon our constituents and take from them what the Bill of Rights-in particular Amendment II-has given them.“ …Utah Sheriffs

Meanwhile, in Sheriff David
Meanwhile, in Sheriff David Edmunds' office, President of the Utah Sheriffs Association; http://www.summitcountysheriff.org/jail/bookings.html
Incarcerated, fined, and added to a criminal registry for a plant.
*edit, that booking has since gone from the page. There are now 2 to 3 others with similar cases. But why would the Sheriff support the Federal Gov'ts illegal war on drugs, and a persons' right to smoke a plant or take into their own body whatever they choose, but when it comes to talks of a federal gun grab he's willing to start a war? There is a huge hypocrisy when it comes to peoples rights.
Where were these
sheriffs when the 4th, 5th, 9th and 10th amendments were being trampled?
“When a well-packaged web of lies has been sold gradually to the masses over generations, the truth will seem utterly preposterous and its speaker a raving lunatic.” – Dresden James
Exactly. This is all probably
Exactly. This is all probably a stunt by NRA lobbyists.
Again...
the 2nd amendment gave nobody nothing.

You gotta love Utah. I was
You gotta love Utah. I was born and raised here. Mormons love their guns. It's also legal here to carry a loaded handgun, concealed, in your car without a permit. Your car is considered "an extension of your home". It's legal to carry in schools if you have a concealed firearm permit. You are not required to register your firearms. Private Sales are highly respected here. It's very common to purchase a gun with no background check or bill of sale. It is the "Seller's" responsibility to confirm the buyer is a legal Utah resident and is a person of good character. The only change in the laws I would ever request would be to make it legal to carry concealed, without a permit such as in our neighbor state Arizona.
