Larry Pratt: Nullifying Government That Treats the People Like PropertySubmitted by Bob-45 on Wed, 01/23/2013 - 13:13
Larry Pratt has been director of Gun Owners of America (http://www.gunowners.org) for over 30 years. Former VA state legislator, author and international television and radio guest, Pratt addressed the sheriffs on Monday and states: "When there's enough nullification of federal tomfoolery, then it will fall of its own weight. But, it takes the guts that you all have to make it happen."
Pratt explains how federal mandated health care is a major threat to the 2nd Amendment via the invasiveness of record keeping and database access by the federal government. He covers the NDAA, Fast and Furious and how Wyoming's weapons manufacturing legislation is very close to rescinding the right to carry from federal officers who violate state law.
Pratt explains how the people need the help of the sheriffs to combat the growing problem of government overreach like NDAA and instances at unconstitutional checkpoints where employees treat the people "like we are their property."
On January 30-31, 2012 over 100 county sheriffs and peace officers, from over 30 states, united to uphold their oaths of office, protect citizen liberty, and stop state and federal tyranny. Inspired and led by the example of former Graham County Arizona Sheriff Richard Mack, the meeting, which was held in Las Vegas, was funded by the generous donations of thousands of Americans from all fifty states, as well as the support of freedom loving sponsors.
