What happened to all the people and rows of chairs in just 4 minutes? Did everyone run out of the room with the councilman and take the chairs with them? Compare the 2:00 minute mark with the 6:05 mark. Just an observation,not a conspiracy...yet :) Kudos to the mayor and the rest of the council members that voted the motion down!

The original video is 41:28 long. The discussion was much more in depth and this shows the people didn't all run out at the mention of a cc in the room.
Someone commented here, I think it was, that the meeting had run over and people had to go, putting up their chairs as they left. (Sorry, I was unable to locate the comment again, since there are quite a few more now. :)

I had to email this to every council person and the mayor in Kirkland WA with a note: "Mayor McBride this mayor is doing the right thing to keep his citizens safe, I do hope you will follow his example."
I encourage everyone in WA state to send this to their Mayor, especially people in Seattle.

...why is that an armed sheriff's deputy (or police officer) in the room doesn't make you feel similarly uncomfortable?
Simple
because he knows they get their salary from him and they feel safe that he wont bite the hand the feeds him. A regular Joe armed who he doesn't give a salary to but rather oppresses him and steals from is a whole different story.
