Defying a resolution issued by the United Nations Security Council on Tuesday that condemned Pyongyang for test-firing a missile in December and tightened existing sanctions on the regime, North Korea's National Defence Commission said the new nuclear test would be part of its action against the "sworn enemy of the Korean people".
North Korea also vowed to push ahead with launches of more long-range rockets.

It's funny how the majority
It's funny how the majority of people are completely blind to our foreign policy.
So Iran is this supposedly crazy and unstable state that supposedly wants to achieve nuclear capability to bomb other countries. So we're supposed to be worried about them and want to invade their country to stop them.
Meanwhile there's a complete, isolationist, SLAVE state out there in the Pacific. They are headed by complete lunatics. The people are under complete control, and must oblige to authority or be killed. They have already demonstrated long-range missile capabilities. They have already demonstrated the ability to launch a nuclear warhead (when they sent their "satellite" into space a few weeks ago). And they DO have nuclear weapons as they've tested THREE of them already.
But no, Iran or Libya or Algeria is our top concern they say! Minding our own business wouldn't do anything they say! Now if North Korea did have the balls to attempt a strike on us (which I don't think they do). I wouldn't mind going over there at all and finally freeing those people.
Gotta keep that
"Axis of Evil" meme going.
As I understand it, getting viable and reliable news out of N. Korea is quite difficult. Wonder how Reuters manages it?
Listened to an interesting interview where the person described the use of esoteric words that became exoteric words when repeatedly spoken by certain figure heads. "New World Order" is an example, spoken by George H.W. Bush on September 11, 1990 and again on March 6, 1991; two important speeches. I would put "Axis of Evil" in that category as well (GW Bush spoke those words January 29, 2002).
Such is the game being played.
esoteric:
Intended for or understood by only a particular group.
exoteric:
Not confined to an inner circle of disciples or initiates;
Comprehensible to or suited to the public; popular.
The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.

why not
add one more war to the list
i think we go into wars like crackheads collect cans, very sporadic and no real strategy involved.

the US only picks on weaker
the US only picks on weaker opponents.
Funny how Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons....where was the US over the last few decades when Pakistan and North Korea obtained nukes?
Does our government actually believe Iran is crazier than North Korea?
