Last day. Will the blimp make it to super-tuesday? Today is the last day to fund the blimp to keep it flying for the next week. One more week after that and we’ll make it through super-Tuesday. Can we do it? Please sponsor the blimp today and help us make it to Super-Tuesday. » |

I donated to the blimp
and will keep on if I can. The blimp lets people know RP is still in this, still flyin' high. It lets them know we care about them, and, is one of the few good things that occasionally makes it into MSM. There are many other good efforts and I try to support them with a few bucks whenever I can, but the blimp is a top priority for me, as well as 1/21!
I get tired of bumping the blimp
but it's worth it to go until Super Duper Tuesday. We are in a media black out people!!! This is a tool in OUR arsenal to combat that.

I can't wait to see today's blimp interview! I hope someone puts it on YouTube right away! The blimp is still generating massive attention even if it's not on national TV every day. It's generating local in-person-I-saw-it-with-my-own-eyes attention everywhere it goes. That, perhaps, is of more value than an image on national tv for 5 seconds.
Jesus is my Lord and my God, and Ron Paul, champion of all things freedom, including religion and the free exercise thereof, is my choice for president.

The truth is, the blimp is well worth the cost (which isn't much, if just a couple thousand people give 50 bucks in advertising.
If we the supporters of Ron Paul "let it die" believe me, the media will be all over it as proof that we are nothing more than a flash in the political pan.
I for one will not stand for it. That is MY blimp, because I have paid for it. I invite everyone to make it theirs too.
The blimp is an example of what we can do if we pull together. Allow ourselves to be pulled apart, and we will lose.
SUPPORT IT TODAY, with even a small amount! We CAN keep this going through super Tuesday!
About my NEGATIVE (?) post
In a recent interview, I'm sure you probably watched it, many "Negatives" were presented to Ron Paul. His response was that every negative is also a positive.
You are advertising in favor of the blimp. I am advertising in opposition to the blimp, in favor of something I FEEL is far more productive than a sign floating in the sky that says nothing (did you watch the blimp video I put up, cause that is what the intended target on the ground is gonna see).
Advertising delivers a message, and that message is controlled 100% by the producer of the video.
The blimp delivers only a name, and directions to a web search in which the OPPONENT has EQUAL VOICE in what the targetted audience will read.

If the media questions why
funding for the Blimp failed, it easy enough to responde that supporters did not feel it was cost effective.
Sponsoring Local ads, or the Operation Proadcast Freedom is ALSO an example of what we can do if we pull together. And I don't think ANYONE, for or against us, is questioning our ability to pull together as a team.
Please consider funding ads that deliver a message instead of a flying billboard that delivers nothing more than a name and directs people to media in which the OPPONENT HAS EQUAL VOICE.

Is actually the only medium where we have the unfair advantage of fairness (hence we tend to dominate). I wish I could afford to give the blimp more, but I can't at the moment. Still, the blimp has been very effective, and I urge folks to somehow make it fly at least until Super Tuesday if only NOT to have to listen to the media about it supposedly "failing."
The value of the publicity compared to crappy TV ads has been obvious with the blimp. People don't watch ads, but they DO watch news, and the Ron Paul Blimp is still news no matter where it goes. Plus it's coming HERE next! I supported it back when it was over you-guys! ;) We're almost at 60% at 2:30PM EST, and I think you all can make me celebrate this evening. Go Ron Paul BLIMP!!

Also keep in mind that "Google Ron Paul" drives people to do a search for RP where they will see positive things about him, as well as negative and often misleading and untrue things about RP.
"Google Ron Paul" allows our opponents an EQUAL VOICE over the message that our intented targets will be exposed to. Googling Ron Paul turns up many negatives along with the positives. A post yesterday proclaimed the "Blimp cannot be censored", true. But why would our opponent want to censor something that they can use to THEIR advantage. By advertising "Google Ron Paul" we are advertising our opponents too. "Google Ron Paul and come read the negative article I wrote about him" is the EQUAL message the Blimp advertises.
BUT. An advertisement, such as the one I've posted here, and local ads, retain 100% control over the message the intended target will receive.

stopping anyone from spending their money the way they want to. This post is an advertisement in favor of the Blimp, my post is an advertisement in favor of forms of adverising that deliver THE MESSAGE and only the message.
The Operation Broadcast Freedom has not been funded. It sends a very strong message, not just a billboard with a name on it. As I posted above, watch the two videos. Which one do you think is more likely to get voters? That IS the goal.
