Public Statement from the Free Dominion Political Party Concerning the Issue of Firearm Possession
Submitted by MG1234 on Fri, 01/25/2013 - 16:29Following a recent string of tragic shootings in Newtown CT, Aurora CO and Tucson AZ, the political responses by NY Governor Cuomo, CT Representative DeLauro, CA Senator Feinstein and President Obama as itemized in
the NY Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act

are replete with unprincipled clauses and abusive provisions accordingly.
For example the NY legislation now authorizes alerts to law enforcement concerning high-volume ammunition purchases, running instant background checks on any ammunition purchase, and tracking those in real-time.
The objection to such a partially biased edict is that a guilt-without-innocence ideology is imposed on all individuals who otherwise are conscientiously exercising their personal agency when acquiring private property.
Secondly the White House promotes that doctors ask patients about guns in their homes, while forwarding letters of 'guidance' to firearm vendors concerning background checks for potential firearm customers.
The issue with such advances is that the confidential relation between doctor and patient is intruded upon with a muted form of surveillance, while private business within the armament industry is subject to political inculcation.
Next H.R. 226 proposes amending the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to allow for a tax-credit when surrendering various assault weapons to authorities.
The issue with this bill is that the unethical practice of taxation is leveraged as inducement, when neither taxation or infringement upon the free agency to bear arms should be enacted.
Finally 'AWB2' calls for banning semi-automatic rifles and handguns with a fixed magazine that can accept more than 10 rounds, or that have one military characteristic.
The problem with this document is that no justification is given as to why a select number of rounds are limited, nor is a rational explanation proffered about what functionally constitutes a 'military' feature and why it is inappropriate.
In sum it appears that both state and federal members within the Executive and Legislative branches have responded to popular outcry with faulty judgment. Such an improper view of personal agency also has serious implications for those who value ethical conduct within a civil society.
Recognizing instead that the correct function of government is to distill conscience so that individuals may strive for virtue unimpeded, the Free Dominion Party endorses the following policies
1) Because the execution of life-and-death preparations involves conscientious moral judgment
a. fully automatic weapons [ie. multiple rounds per single trigger mechanics] should be reserved to military service
b. selective fire [exchangeable multiple-single rounds/single trigger] should be licensed according to veteran duty or graduated training against felonious record; as similarly outlined in the US Constitution, domestic militias practicing on privately secluded grounds is firmly upheld
c. semi-automatics [single round/trigger] should be privately maintained at home or in civil recreation with permits regarding conservationist gaming etc
d. manual actions can be publicly registered under concealed-carry
2) Because the presence of armed guards in schools is sensibly uncivil, concealed-carry for simpler firearms should be legalized while granting those responsible adults the prerogative to justly engage a would-be assassin
3) Because the apparatus of government [ie. international / federal / state /county / township / estate / domicile /self] should be justly assembled as a reciprocal means to balance power, law enforcement and civil servants who took a Constitutional oath to defend the rights of public citizens are solidly supported when positioning against superimposed authority
4) Because warranted history instructs that both criminal incursion and unchecked governmental oppression are commonly recurring and should be steadfastly repulsed, one's own adequately fortified guardianship is also encouraged
Free Dominion empathically acknowledges the traumatic ordeal of families, friends and neighbors when experiencing intimate loss, while political issues such as public health or civil economics when relating to firearm possession can be addressed by determining the conscionable ethic of those individuals assuming principled ownership and responsible stewardship accordingly.
It is the subsequent intention of the Party when further engaged within the political arena to revoke any law accordingly that violates the principled agency of civil individuals.
Finally as Party Chair, I refuse to concede any privately owned firearm under unjust decree, and hereby consider any deliberate act to appropriate such property as one of violable encroachment.

Chair
