Rand Paul 2016 campaign - who is with me?

Senator Rand Paul is on fire!
It looks to me like he already started his 2016 campaign with successful attacks against his potential opponents.

Liberty patriots activists let's jump-start Rand Paul 2016 presidential campaign - who is with me?

If you're not going to vote for Rand Paul

Then who are you going to vote for? He's better than any one else out there.

DON'T EVER VOTE

You are only endorsing the status quo:

Lessor of two evils again.

Lessor of two evils again. Rand blew it for me and most die hard Ron Paul Liberty supporters. Hopefully another candidate will come to the forefront, one who is not afraid to answer questions by Luke Rudkowski and Abby Martin.

Maybe because he wants to win an election

And try to salvage what is left of the country. I understand what you are saying...but 90% of the sheep that live in this country will tear him apart if he starts looking like "another kooky conspiracy theorist Paul". I know and I am sure he knows that Bilderberg group and others are crappy people. HOwever, he can't be answering questions from people like that and ever get enough support in the mainstream. It just won't happen.

Do you seriously think the President of the USA, which is under a great deal of scrutiny, will be a guy answering questions about the Bilderberg group? Get real. Ron Paul was shredded by the media constantly for anything that he said that was out of the mainstream. If we actually want to get some things accomplished and "Restore America Now", we need votes...a lot of them. Rand Paul gets us closer to where we need to be. Again, Dr. Ron Paul will be supporting his son. I don't think Rand Paul is in cahoots with the Bilderberg group or some other agency. That is just crazy talk. Rand Campaigned with his father and obviously loves his family. He is also a good person. Why do you want to tear him apart for not taking part in Alex Jones type media? we are determined to fail if we don't accept that we need to get libertarian ideas into the mainstream. We can't go all in. We won't win and things will get worse. I personally would like to avoid catastrophe and SHTF scenarios and live a decent life.

I would argue that Rand would

I would argue that Rand would be most qualified and certainly not evil.

Rand Paul is a Judas

I would rather have Judge Napolitano any day over Rand. Rand Paul is a Judas. I can't vote for someone who runs away from valid questions like, why did you support Mitt Romney. I had a large Ron Paul decal on my rear car window for 5 years, I will never own or display a Rand Paul anything.

Agreed

He will never have my support. He is scum.

Here ya

LOL

Makes you wonder why these people cant understand what happened....maybe because they don't want to understand...There is a lot to be learned in what Rand said in that video...+1 for putting it up...

Tough One.. There will be

Tough One..

There will be some things he does or says that I'll vehemently disagree with, but he'll be light years ahead of any other viable candidate.

So as of now, he's still got my support. I just wish he understood that Israel is not a state of our union.

::sigh::

I am for Rand

count me in.

Rand and Ron are two very

Rand and Ron are two very different kinds of politicians with the same goal.

like the goal

of starving the elderly and children iran? please.

Wait...wasn't the sanction he

Wait...wasn't the sanction he voted for against the Iranian central bank...and a way to avoid a war? I wish someone would sanction our CB.

And thereafter, he voted against harsher sanctions against Iran.

why does rand think

iran's bank is any of his business? policeman of the world.

madame albright said all the dead children and elderly were worth it. will rand be saying that too?

Because unfortunately in the

Because unfortunately in the world we live in...all wars are our business. So while this is the state of our current affairs, wouldn't it be wise for Rand to vote accordingly. Just like the NDAA he voted for...it included a clause to protect Americans on American soil from indefinite detention. Though it was not a perfect bill, it was better than what we currently had. Rand is working it from the inside. Sadly things will not change overnight. But watch what he's doing...he's getting legislative passed in our favor.

well said

He don't have a chance to win

He will never get the grass roots support that he needs to win.

He has NO principles. He's a Flip Flopper like his buddy Romney.

His campaign will not receive a dime from me.

Wrong

He has something Ron never had, he appeals to the mainstream GOP. That is enough to win. Ron never had that.

yes the mainstream, status quo, establishment

always wins. you got your man.

yup

I'll take the 'W' and you can take idealism. Honestly though, we can have both. Maybe not the exact vision you have, but I think we can move in the right direction with Rand. That's worth it to me.

Thats ok

I'll make up the difference :)

That's good

And you have every right to. But he will never get the support he needs.....

then

neither will any other liberty candidate so what is your point? Its kinda like shooting yourself in the foot isn't it..not supporting Rand ? Thats what we need is another RINO or Dem in there to finish off what little is left when Rand would turn much of this around and do his best to undo much of whats been done for the last 12 years...

Have you looked at his record?

Bills he's sponsored:

Cut Federal Spending Act of 2011 (S.162): proposed to cut $500 billion in federal spending in FY2011.

Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2011 (S.202): the Senate duplicate version of Ron Paul's House bill (H.R.459), requiring a full audit of the Fed before the end of 2012.

Fourth Amendment Restoration Act (S.1070): a little bit complicated, since it amends a lot of existing law, but in essence it limits the ability of the federal government to conduct Unconstitutional searches

A bill to authorize the interstate traffic of unpasteurized milk and milk products that are packaged for direct human consumption (S.1955): ...self explanatory

A Bill to Permit Voluntary Economic Activity (S.2269): "Prohibits the Sherman Act, the Clayton Act, and section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act from being construed as prohibiting, banning, or otherwise extending to any voluntary economic coordination, cooperation, agreement, or other association, compact, contract, or covenant entered into by or between any individual or group of individuals."

Preserving Freedom from Unwarranted Surveillance Act of 2012 (S.3287): Requires that a warrant be obtained to use a drone for domestic surveillance

A bill to require security screening of passengers at airports to be carried out by private screening companies, and for other purposes (S.3303): ...self explanatory

A bill to provide limitations on United States assistance, and for other purposes (S.3576): cuts foreign aid to Egypt, Pakistan, and Libya

There's the Flipp

Here's the Flop

Iran Sanctions

Feinstein NDAA Amendment

Romney Endorsment & Cheerleader

Willing to send the men and women of our military over to die for Israel if they are attacked. How would you like your son or daughter or mother or father to die for another country. ABSOLUTELY INEXCUSABLE!!!!!

Just for starters......

Response

Iran Sanctions: yep, that's a problem. But considering he's clearly opposed to war with Iran, it's a problem I'm willing to overlook.

Feinstein NDAA Amendment: That was a good amendment, it would have reduced the government's power to indefinitely detain people.

Romney endorsement: So what? This kind of gesture is part of politics. Ron endorsed some neocons in his career.

Romney cheerleader: Not true, after endorsing Romney, Rand started vocally criticizing Romney's foreign and domestic policy - even while nominally campaigning for Romney! It's was rather amusing, check out the video of him "campaigning for Romney" in NH. One could argue that the entire purpose of the endorsement was to give Rand the opportunity to criticize Romney as a nominal friend: criticism from friends is more powerful than criticism from enemies.

Israel: Don't confuse rhetoric for reality. There are other threads where this has been hashed out. I take Rand's words re Israel as an attempt to placate pro-Israel Republican voters. Like it or not, we need them to win.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."
