Rand Paul 2016 campaign - who is with me?

Senator Rand Paul is on fire!
It looks to me like he already started his 2016 campaign with successful attacks against his potential opponents.

Liberty patriots activists let's jump-start Rand Paul 2016 presidential campaign - who is with me?

1. Ron Paul
2. Gary Johnson

Rand? a neocon lite who it's safe to say in 4 years can drop will drop the lite.
1. endorsed, campaigned and voted for Rombama
2. voted for iran sanctions, starving children & elderly
3. denied any mistreatment of his dad's supporters at the RNC, and dissed the movement.
4. has bowed down and kissed the zionist/neocon ring.

I'm a college kid who voted

I'm a college kid who voted for Ron Paul in the primary, GJ in nov, and will vote for Rand Paul in 2016

No interest in participating in rigged elections.

Rand has a few years to change my mind, but as things stand today, I will not participate in any future elections. I do not consent to have anyone rule over me. If I thought Rand could truly lead us, I would consider voting for him even though I consider it tacit approval of an election process and government that I do not consider legitimate. However, it appears to me that Rand is not trying to lead us to liberty, he is trying to win a rigged election so he may sit at the top of an illegitimate government without any meaningful challenge to the status quo.
Good luck to you guys, I honestly hope he and you prove me wrong, but... I've got people wanting to learn about aquaponics, those are people on a path to liberty. You can find me walking with them...

Love or fear? Choose again with every breath.

"not LEAD YOU"...Look for a lawmaker that will REPRESENT you.

I'm still watching Rand to

I'm still watching Rand to what else transpires, but so far, there is no one even close to him. I would have to say, I would support Rand as of right know unless somebody with higher qualities comes along.

manager. IF he is, then Rand may get my vote, but no $$$$!

I hope Rand is reading this, because I believe there are legions who feel the same way as I do.

Yes. The campaign screwed

Yes. The campaign screwed over people, even at the state level in some areas.

I say Yes.

I say Yes.

Here is my opinion of Rand.

Here is my opinion of Rand. I would think that most people (in reality) would feel the same way.

I don't really support all of Rand's positions, but I support many of them. Just the same, I didn't support all of Ron Paul's positions. But unlike Rand, I supported the vast majority.

Speaking just of the GOP, if the race is filled with a bunch of douchebags with names similar to: Romney, McCain, Bush, Guliani, Rubio, Christie, blah, blah, blah... then yes, Rand would have my support over all those goons.

But, in regard to the general election, I would probably vote 3rd party. But again, all that could be skewed if there was a real shot of Rand picking up the GOP nomination.

He may not be exactly what we want... but when you look at the past (I don't even know how many) decades of bad Presidencies that we have had... Rand would be a breath of fresh air in comparison.

But again... do I really support his positions on a lot of things... no, not really.

All that's just IMO.

2 things about Rand...

First, he seems to have more international support than any other current politician, almost as much as his dad.

Second, he's smart enough to know that politics is all about getting reelected by a majority, and since liberty is on the rise and the majority of Americans and Kentuckians now are looking at how candidates view and vote on legislation affecting liberty-type issues, he's going to lean towards liberty if for no other reason than to keep his job.

Rand Paul was in German news.

Today, in my German lab class, I was watching news clips in German and they showed him giving a speech at a rally in D.C. With our empire the way it is and U.S. citizens spread all over the globe, it's important that he get international attention if he's going to run.

spoken like a true American

spoken like a true American Imperialist.. everything Ron Paul is NOT.

We have American voters in other countries.

Like it or not, they'll still be there in 2016.

Do you mean they actually

Do you mean they actually count their votes?

Rand ist nicht schlecht,

aber, er ist ganz gut, nicht wahr?

How'd I do?

couldn't quite catch what you meant yet..

You mean "Rand's not bad, but not quite good either"
or more like "He's not that bad, in fact he's quite ok"?

it's the "aber", that determines the whole meaning ;)

What I meant was Rand is

Rand is not bad, to the contrary he is quite good.

Why I didn't just say that in a language I actually know is beyond me...

it's ok i

talk all the time in a language which isn't my native language.
but it's always good to learn something new, i think!

your correct translation would be:
"Rand ist gar nicht so schlecht, sondern eigentlich ziemlich gut!"

hope i could learn you something =)

You done learned me good.

thx. :)

Glad to hear that,

you're very welcome.
ask me anytime =)

Rand Paul

Is thus far the choice for me, yet I want to see his body of work and make sure that he remains true.

I'm all for starting early...

...but I'm not sure what we could actually do directly for Rand at this point, other than perhaps donating to RandPac. But I think the best way we could prepare the ground for 2016 is by assisting the state parties that we control: Iowa, Nevada, Maine, etc. They need money, let's do a moneybomb. Split the funds equally among all the parties we control. I'll pledge $100 right now. Who knows how to create a functioning moneybomb website?

P.S. Oh, here's an idea: what if we mailed out a pamphlet (ala SuperBrochure) which is educational on a few issues (e.g. spending and bill of rights) that play well to the conservative base, and shows how Rand is good on these issues, and shows how Rubio and Ryan are terrible on them? Rand right now is evidently trying to cut the legs out from under some likely 2016 rivals, this would be a way of lending a hand with that effort. Remember the guy who created those excellent comparison sheets between Ron Paul and Romney/Gingrich/Santorum/etc? Could be something like that.

"Alas! I believe in the virtue of birds. And it only takes a feather for me to die laughing."

the pamphlet/rivals: Rubio (and Jindal) are NOT constitutionally eligible to be POTUS...neither are natural born!

Perhaps this needs to be pounded home...

Ron Paul 2012...and beyond

...the abject failure of the "birther" movement tells me that (regardless of the truth of the matter) this is not a productive way of going after our opponents. Better to stick to simple verifiable facts IMHO, like the fact that Ryan voted for the auto and bank bailouts. All conservatives understand that and will hate Ryan for it.

Campaigns Don't Work

Case in Point, Ross Perot and Ron Paul. Why is it so hard for people to change their paradigms?
